Hi All

Well I'm back in the land of the morning calm. I tried a couple of Massage place that I've visited before.

The hit was at the Songtan Tourist. It was $120 and I had a new girl, name Su Ha. About an 8 on looks, great attitude and very good FS.

The miss ws at the Prince. For $110 I had Sung, not bad looking (about 6-7) but attitude and FS were very bad. Pay the extra $10 for the Songtan.

I did notice that two places that used to be 4pole barbershops are now hair salons. And I didn't see the "loud lady" who used to walk up and down the mall.

This topic comes up every once in awhile so last time I went to Angeles City in the Philippines from Incheon I stopped by the little Airpoirt Village a few miles away from Incheon Airport. I got there a little later than I wanted to but in the town center I saw 3 Anmas very close to eachother.

I'm sure you can just hop in a cab and ask him to go to Airport Village (airportuh village-ee) or just ask for anma. He should understand that you want to go somewhere nearby. There's probably a bus that goes from the airport to the airport village also and there were plenty of cabs in the town itself.

I'll try and get more details next time I'm in that area. Also might behoove you to hang around the Queen hotel. Thats were most of the overnight stewardesses stay, introduce yourself and mention that you know how to give a good foot massage.

A compadre of mine told me that he had Filipino at the RLD in Suwon for forty US about two weeks ago. He is an caucasian american, so the main street girls ignored him but the other streets where dealing with foriegners. Hopefully check it out one of these days.

I have seen this question posted a few times, and as I have often used these forums to research my trips abroad, thought I would contribute something back.

Just returned from a trip to Thailand and had a 12 hour layover in Incheon, so thought I would do a little exploring. Had taken a Transit Tour of the Incheon area earlier. and noticed a few massage places as the tour bus passed through the Airport Village. Still had a about 5 hours to kill after the tour, so I asked the lady at the information desk how much it would cost to take a taxi in to the Airport Village (they also call it New Town Village). She said it should cost about 10,000 won, or I could take the #223 bus. It leaves from in front of exit #5 on the arrivals level and only cost 800 won.

The bus made 4 or 5 stops before it hit town, got out and walked around a little. Decided to grab a quick lunch at a local restaurant and found that nobody spoke any english and the menu's are only in Korean. Did manage to order lunch by pointing to pictures of different dishes on the wall. From the looks I got from the locals, doen't think they get many tourists through here. After lunch checked out some of the massage places showing barber shop poles. The first one said the shop was on the 4th floor, but the stairways was pretty cluttered up past the 2nd floor so I did not go up any further. I went to another shop with a big Barbershop Pole and followed the signs up to the 3rd floor. There were two businesses on the 3rd floor, one was a restaurant, so I opened up the other door and was greeted by a middle aged Korean lady. She spoke a little english so was able to establish that a 1 hour massage was 120,000 won. After having spent a week mongering in Thailand, this was pretty expensive, but thought, what the heck, had some time to kill.

She gave me some slippers to put on and brought me through a hallway that had ~6 small rooms with curtains. Entered into one room and she motioned me to undress and give her my clothes which she then put away in a locker for me. She then motioned me to lie down on the cussioned massage table, covered me with a towel, and then left the room. The room was pretty dark, lit by a red light and pretty clean. The massage table was heated and fairly well padded. After about 2 minutes a Korean girl came in dressed in a little red bikini top and short red skirt. Good little body (7/10), with an ok face (5/10). She proceeded to give me a foot bath, head massage, face massage, and then a shave. Then she gave me a full body massage with some type of mentholated ointment. The massage was actually pretty good, and I could still feel the heat from the mentholated ointment after she wiped me down with hot towels.

Then she motioned me to follow her for a shower and led me to a room with a small shower area and a raised mattress that had a rubber covering on it. She showered and washed me down, then did herself. She even gave me a disposable toothbrush to brush my teeth (may have been the kimchi I had for lunch). She then proceeded to give me a soapy massage, fairly similar to what I have experienced in Thailand. It's probably just as well you didn't say yes to dinner: That's a dog meat restaurant on the 3rd floor of the building in your picture ("yeong yang tang" in Korean). I kid you not.

Your massage parlour, by the way, is semi-disguised from the outside as a skin care clinic.

Nice report: you did remarkably well, especially given the time restraint, at finding good service in Korea. I'd try the place out myself if it weren't so far from Busan.

SS[/QUOTE]Thanks for the tip, but too late on the dog meat. I am a Canadian born Chinese, and have worked/visited quite a few places in asia. Have always enjoyed sampling the local food specialties along with the local talent. If I remember right, it tasted like well aged lamb or mutton and was pretty heavily spiced.

I actually worked in Seoul for a couple of months about 3 years ago, and had a few experiences in Itaewan at Giorgio's that were unfortunately a lot more expensive although eventually very satisfying eventually. Ended up dating one of the girls there for the last half of my stay. Lately have been doing most of my serious exploring in Thailand and South China.

I went price hunting in Suwon RLD near the station yesterday. I was often quoted 60,000 W but it easily dropped to 50,000 W at the first sign of doubt.

I would appreciate if someone more experimented could comment on these prices and also could PM about how these RLD work.

Its been a while since I travelled to Songtan until yesterday and I tried the sports massage near Osan AB gate. Great relaxing massage in an open bay but no extras here. Very Friendly staff and the prices are very reasonable. Osan also has a couple of street walkers, but they are on the heavy side and not much to look at.

I paid $40.00 for the body and foot special massage for an hour. Dpending on what you select you could pay more or less.

Songtan Hotel massage is in a different category. You will have more fun there :)

Yesterday I decided I would check out the Songtan Tourist Hotel and explore the sport massage experience, it was 2pm. To enter, walk up the main steps of the hotel and make a quick right turn (don't go inside the hotel) towards a small door that leads down into the basement of the hotel.

The door down stairs was open but the place was not open to business, but a young women (25-30ys) skinny (5-7 looks) with bed head came out and told me to come back at 5pm.

Since I was on a schedule and 5pm wouldn't work, I decided to try the Osan Tourist Hotel. I had read previously this place was not the best of recommendations, nonetheless I figured what the hell!

The cost was 110K won or 108. US. As I entered my room, there was a tall, young korean with a 7-8 body exiting the room adjacent to mine, she had short hair and was wearing thigh high white stockings. So my expecatations were pleasantly changing. But, I didn't get her, but instead I received a short, slightly budgy bodied, (33-37yr) who rushed through the eperience. She went right to work, literally. The massage lasted about 2 minutes. I've been here before (interms of attitude) so I made her day by going slow and thinking of her co-worker. In short, I would not recommend this place and if you do decide to try this place for what ever reason, pick your lady, take your time, close your eyes and control the pace.

gosh, after having read a number of the posts on this thread, i almost never want to go back to korea!

a long time ago (70's-80's), on a planet far away (8th imperial army), we had massage parlors rep001tered all over every base in korea ('steam & cream's'), run by aafes.

i won't even get into prices for 'trim', as i'd also have to tell you just how damned little we were getting paid back then. shrewd guys would wait until 20 minutes before curfew (midnight, continued until mid-1982) to cut a deal.

as a 91s (environmental health nco) at cp humphreys, my mornings were taken up with treating clap, and then interviewing the troops (average 30 cases a day) to find out which girl/what club he got the clap from. we had huge albums full of girls' pictures (submitted when they applied for vd cards) for the gi's to go through. sort of like sears & roebuck, but different.
