Well guys, I defer to your greater knowledge on this topic. Opebo hasn't had sex for free in a year, much less ever gotten paid for it. Also the idea of asians as 'muscular young studs' giving a 'real hard pounding' sounded a bit laughable to me, given the size stereotype. Patong sucks! I have been there 2 weeks ago. It is the most expensive and touristy place all over thailand. There are to many package tourists who stay only 2-3 weeks and overpay the girls. The girls are totally spoilt. But I have to admit that there are many very beautiful girls.

Christian Massage is a must see for at least once. The first time I went there and got the body massage, I fucking could not believe how sensual it was. The massage itself was better than the sex that followed. However, on my second visit, it kind of got old, but still very enjoyable. Make sure you get friendly with the manager ( they all dress up like they are going to an English cocktail party ) and make sure he understands that you want someone who is good at body massage. Some girls there don't do that and just offer straight sex.

For gogo bar, don't waste anytime, just go right over to Rockhard A gogo. Music is good but drinks are a little expensive. I think the best lookers in Phuket are in this joint. ST 2000, LT 3000. I was in patong last night and started late around midnight. it should be noted that the best girls are gone by then and that all or most of the bars close around 2:30AM.

Around 3am still many girls on the streets but man TVs and I was about to desperate when I entered the Kings disco on soi bangla.

Day 2

For those who are not famliar with the scene Soi Bangla is the main street for action in Patong and it is just unbelieveable.

First the number of girls is incredible, they are everywhere and all are available and generally very friendly and smiling, some real stunners. It is like being a mice trapped inside a cheese, you don't know where to start.

Second, everything is very cheap, maybe 300 to 400 Bahts for drinks and 1000B to 1500B for the girl for all night depending on the time & place of pickup. I have not quite been able to get the girls to do multi sessions though, usually they just wake up and leave in the AM.

Third, there is a party atmosphere that is kind of reminiscent of Cancun or New Orleans for those who have been there, but on infinitely wilder scale and with the sex element which is not necessarily available in the above mentioned places. Here, every girl is available, everywhere. It is unbelievable. Lots of Europeans, I suppose because they have a lot of vacation and the exchange rate is very favorable.

The beach is OK, but not the greatest I have seen, so I would guess people come here more for the bars than for the beach, though the latter is extremely crowded during the day.

Back to Day 2, went to Christin MP around 7PM. It is indeed very easy to find though a prior report located it "behind the Patong Beach Hotel" which may not be the easiest way to locate it (there is actually a bunch of MPs on the other side of the hotel, which is also "behind" depending on where you are. I would say the easiest for a visitor in town is to walk down Soi Bangla which you will obviously be familiar with since it is THE center of the action, away from the beach. Turn right at the first and only main street you will encounter and keep walking for a few minutes, then you can't miss the signs & pink building.

Chistin has 3 windows, 1800B, 2000B and 2200B or something like that depending on the window. Same service but I was politely told the "ugly" girls cost less and the beautiful ones cost more. Nice.. You come in and sit by the fish bowl. There are some huge pillars in the center that will actually prevent you from seeing all the girls (maybe 30 of them) from all but a couple tables so that is not very convenient. After 5 minutes I was asked if I had chosen. One girl kept signaling me, I took her because I did not really see anyone I liked. Overall, I have been to J1 in Bangkok and think the quality was much higher there, the price too BTW.

The girl started by asking me if I wanted to meet her again at night, that is before anything started! Did not like that. 1 1/4h session, nice body body, bath, showers, quick CBJ and finished in missionary. OK but not overwhelming. Then the girl started telling me about her life. My God... They are actually locked into this place night and day and do not have the right to go out. Never see the light, except if a customer wants to take them out. Pimps ("agents" we are talking Mafia here) take all the money and she said she would receive 350B for our session. 3 to 7 customers per day, doctor controls twice a month, 4 girls per bedroom, those who escape get in big trouble and lose their job. Maybe she was BS-ing me, I don't know. Some comments about how people were leaving small tips like 100B or 200B followed I suppose so that I would leave more. I did, I have always been weak. Total cost with drinks & tips 2700B.

Around 9PM I headed to Soi Eric where most of the pretty girls are as previously reported. It is in the middle of Soi Bangla, near the Moulin Rose, which appears to be a Transvestite place, and cannot be missed. Played dice and some other games with girls in the bars. That was a lot of fun. Paid 400B for a couple hours of drinks & chit chat, but I did not like the girls I was with (not the same one who pulled me off the street into the bar) so I moved on to the next place. After a couple more bars went to the Tai Pan bar/disco at 2 AM, they are open later than the other places. I was completely undecided on the girls so I just looked. I finally grabbed one who was dancing nearby and to my surprise she said that she was "tired". I could not believe it... Oh well...

As I was leaving Tai Pan at 3:30AM (closing), 3 girls grabbed me and we headed for dinner in a nearby place. I did not even look at them until we were sitted (I had ingested maybe 20 beers by that time). It was something like the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Since the Good was not my style and I don't do bad or ugly, I said goodnight after dinner and walked the streets at 4 something AM. Not for long... A short cutie grabbed me (I had decided I wanted a tall girl that night but at 4:22AM I changed my vision of the world from vertical to horizontal, so I could convince myself that height would not matter any longer. I did.

She offered 1000B and I accepted. She could not believe it, I am sure I could have bargained easily due to the late hour. In reality, I don't like to at that level ($25 for all night, come on I hope no one will have the bad taste to say I am causing market prices to go up). She went back with me and gave me a delightful and I mean delightful BBJTC. Mahal, with all due respect I think you're mischaracterizing the situation at Christine's. The girls there are workers -- they can quit anytime they want and leave. The rule is that if they want to work there, be fed and given a room, they must agree to stay inside unless taken out by a customer. Given what Phuket is like (as your report so eloquently points out) and there are TGs and customers everywhere, this means that the management wants them to earn their money inside rather than outside so they get their cut, and that girls who basically attempt to stiff Christine's are not going to be employed there. They're going to keep the customers happy, so the girls can go with them if it's something specific, but otherwise they're protecting their investment (gotta pay for that place, the papasan, etc.) in an unscale market niche where most girls on Soi Bangla undercut them on price.

Do the math for a minute -- 3 to 7 customers a day (figure a conservative average of four for argument's sake) at 350b per means an income of over 40,000baht per month not even counting tips, and room and board on top of that. Add in tips at a conservative 150bath average, and you're talking another 20k. This is all presuming she doesn't also get a base salary, which is usually the case (though I don't know the specifics at Christine's.) Even using my conservative approach, that's a huge income for [i]any[/i] Thai, and it's far, far more than most freelancers are going to make. There are plenty of bad places in LOS where women are truly taken advantage of and where they're either paying off family debts or only getting 100b or less a throw, but someone who's making over $1500USD per month and can quit and leave anytime they want is hardly coerced and under the horrible thumb of the mafia. She was just bitching about boring working conditions -- and small wonder she'd not really want to leave with that income.

Bottom line -- her rap worked half-way. You gave her a bigger tip, (as many probably do after hearing her tale of woe, increasing that income accordingly) but you didn't take her out so she didn't manage to get another 2k or so out of you -- or someone else, if she'd have left you to freelance until she returned to Christine's the next morning.
