To find streetwalkers in the area depends on the day of the week. Some days "no pasa nada", but normally around 10PM, even earlier, if its dark. Hehe.

But beware. Some of the ugliest things are the same area. You'll have to try your luck. I do it just because I'm heading home late at night. And the best "casas" are closed or very far.

For me is cheaper to go to the casas. 100mil for 1 hour "completo" with a girl. In some places with 40mil you get laid. Is 8 bucks a fuck! But also if you want to come to Paraguay the food is cheaper too. 10 $ is the most you will pay for a complete luch or $20 if you go to a fancy restaurant.

To bring a girl to hotels cost near a $100-150, but when you go to a brothel ("casas", "deptos", whatever) it is only 20 bucks, the most you will pay for the finest ass in Paraguay should be $30. Beware of the "gringo" prices.

VISAS/TRANSPORTATION
Just got back from a 5 day jaunt to Asuncion so its time to write the entensive report that I promised Jackson I would write. My associates and I obtained the necessary visas at the Paraguayan Consulate in Buenos Aires to the tune of $65 USD for a multiple-entry visa good for the life of the passport. All that was needed for the visa was the passport, one passport sized photo, the completion of an on-site form, and the payment of the $65 USD. We were able to get airlines tickets on GOL, non-stop from Buenos Aires for $142 USD round trip (included the departure tax from Asuncion). The taxi from the airport to the centro should run between $15-$20 USD depending if it is a metered taxi or a remise.

HOTELS

The first two nights we stayed at the Hotel Chaco (as recommended by previous forum members) which ran $62 USD and included breakfast. The breakfast was a decent continental setup with the addition of free eggs made to order, which was nice. The front desk people at this hotel were helpful and will call chicas to be delivered to your room if you want. However, all they are doing is calling "casa" girls and adding a 100K Guarani fee to the 200K Guarani take out fee for a total of 300K Guarani for the chica.
The last two nights we moved to the 5 star Grabados Park Hotel, located at the intersection of 14 de Agosto and Estrella, in downtown Asuncion. My associate was able to get a special "corporate weekend rate" of $65 USD per night, which is about half of the rack rate. This hotel was almost new and far superior to the Hotel Chaco is every way imaginable, and the buffet breakfest was also superior. Also of note were the free massage and the nice pool and jacuzzi facilities, and the 24 hour room service. HOWEVER, the cocksucker night frontdesk guy added a $20 USD fee to my bill without my authorisation for bringing in a hooker at 5am one night. My buddy made the mistake of not demanding the waiving of guest fees at the check in (as I had done at Hotel Chaco as a condition of our stay).

CHICA SCENE

The best deal of the chica scene was clearly the apartments, with all of the top rated ones mentioned earlier in the thread being more or less the same as advertised, 100k Guarani per hour and filled with young, fresh, good looking Paraguayas willing to please. The girls are all available to come to your hotel for between 150k-200k in total. Fortunately for yours truly, bareback was easy to come by with many of the apartment girls, through either repeat visits, or for first time encounters, simply offering 50k Guaranies more ($10 USD) to lose the condom.
The chica club scene is essentially non-existant in Asuncion, a huge bummer for those who dig that type of thing. There is a place called Karim Club which is total shit, do not waste your time. Also there are some HOT hookers working at the Casino at the Yacht and Golf Club Hotel, which is a 25 minute 75k Guarani cab ride from the center.
For a guy coming into town for a few days good non-pro action will not be super easy to come by, but if I lived in Asuncion or spent some real time there I could really own this town I think in terms of pulling the super hot non-pros. My associates and I were really shocked at the quality of the chicas at the top night spots. We spent alot of time in Villa Mora at the Paseo Carmelitos complex of bars and restaurants and believe it or not the Hooters located across the street. The waitresses at Hooters were smoking hot and eager to meet and hang out with young handsome Americans. On our last night one of my associates and I went out drinking with a couple of smoking hot Hooters waitresses after they got off work, it was a shame it was our last night in town. The girls in Asuncion have a very exotic look to them, many with green eyes, morocha hair and skin, and very large tits with good asses.

OVERALL ASSESSMENT

Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of chicas in Asuncion, and in many ways the hot chicas in Asuncion were superior looking to the hot chicas in Buenos Aires (which is where I live). The pussy is cheap and the food and cost of living are also cheap, and I felt Asuncion was a very safe place, at no time did I feel in danger. On a scale of cheapness for cost of living, I would rate Asuncion cheaper than Buenos Aires, but more expensive than Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The pussy, however, was cheaper in Asuncion than in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. I will back.

It's nice you guys had a good time in Asuncion.

Finding the Las Carmelitas area was good work. That Paseo Carmelitas complex is brand new in the last couple of years. Most of the disco/night action is moving to the wealthier suburbs. That whole section along both sides of Avenida España out to/past Shopping del Sol is one of the richest areas of Asuncion. There have been many new businesses and houses built in the area.

The women who live in that area and go to those places are in many ways similar to the Santa Cruz women, from what I have heard of that city, or the women of Palermo in Buenos Aires. They are wealthier and are mostly out looking for guys with the big 4x4's that are so prevalent in that group. A lot of them are good looking. I have browsed around some of the discos looking at the lines waiting to get in on Friday and Saturday night. I don't bother to go in, because it is unlikely someone my age is going to be successful with one of those richer 20-somethings, they want husbands.

You are right that the best success you will have with non-pro talent is similar to Buenos Aires, in that the women working in the restaurants and stores are the best possibility. Their big advantage is that you can meet and talk to them at their place of work. Trying to meet women anywhere else isn't that easy, as you can't meet them easily near their neighborhoods.

The gap between the rich and poor is growing in Paraguay, like so many other countries. Asuncion is small enough that it is relatively easy to pass from an area like Las Carmelitas(equivalent to Palermo/Recoletta) into an area that is worse than Flores, as bad/worse than the suburbs of Buenos Aires. In the worst of these areas is were the working women tend to live.

I went out to visit the family of a chica I have seen off and on for 3 years in Itaugua, a small town outside Asuncion. I had been to her house 3 years ago, but to be safe I took a taxi the 6 blocks from Ruta 2 into the barrio, on a weekday late morning. I was damned glad I did, and I am not shy about walking around here. I got again a better understanding of why it is so hard to get a woman to come to my place on Sunday night. I offer an extra G50k for Sunday, and they still won't take it. They are afraid to leave their house Sunday after 7 o'clock. One woman who will come arrives early at 8PM so she can walk out of her house in daylight. It seems there are a lot more guys out drinking on Sundays, when they don't work.

As a result of this situation, these women generally don't go out much except to work/shop. They can't afford the discos, and their local quilombos are dangerous and ugly, full of drunk obnoxious men.

This situation really annoys me. I have been trying to figure out a good way to meet more of these women, and am going to try some other things. But it is a lot like trying to meet a woman in a Buenos Aires suburban barrio, it isn't easy. You know they are there, but you can't just barge into a barrio and look around.

What Asuncion desperately needs is a place like Newport in BA or Hotel del Rey in San Jose, CR. A place where a semi-pro can go just to pick up some quick money on any given day. I understand the discos were better for that prior to 2004, when they shut them all down, and they started reopening in the suburbs Friday and Saturday only with high prices. For some reason, places that would seem likely for that, like some of the bars on Colon, just can't stay in business long enough for the word to get out. The old Puerto Madero location re-opened as a disco/bar, but closed after about 1 month. So these places have been opening and closing regularly. They seem to last at most 3-6 months. They never have any success in attracting men customers, and they haven't tried to start with women decoys to attract customers. The police may have soemthing to do with this, I don't know.

It is my guess that the private apartments are just totally destroying the club/bar/boliche and even the street scene. They are a good deal, if you like apartments, and it seems there are more all the time. So I think the men are generally going to the apartments for quick sex and then going to the discos/restaurants to socialize with "good" women. My problem is I don't like apartments.

There would seem to be a good opportunity for a business here, if you can figure out what the other places have done wrong.

This is really a bad place, all the women are ugly and you would be wasting your money here!

I am afraid that if more people found out about this place it will turn out to be a Costa Rica or high dollar place.

Really, I have been here for a little while and I am going to be living here for the next two years. I have already fallen in love with this place and the women are crazy they will do anything for 100, 000! I will gladly pay cien mil (gurnies) for everything. In fact if you want you can bargin to have the girl all day for 200 cien for a whole day, but that is on the side.

Its weird though if you ask all of the girls they only will work about the average of 3 months then they quit. One girl quite after she was with me at my La cassa, the women of the lacassa didn't want to pay her her half. So she called me and we had a good time for a week end for 200 cien.

One clue though take a shower before you go and put the colone on, they like clean american men. And please always wear a condum!

Excellent report! For my money, Asuncion is one of the best mongering spots in Latin America when you factor in quality and price. Prices seem to be the same as they were when I was there a little over a year ago. We should also make it clear that the apartments are in fact brothels, and they are indeed the place to go for the p4p scene. Too bad Asuncion is so hard to get to from the USA.
