I have now disabled my firewall (while I am on this site)and have had no problems, so it is just too damn picky. I have mucho problemas with Netscape and T3 at work, so I am reluctant to try that here at home. Maybe I will look at Mozilla. Computers making our lives faster and easier. HA! Thanks amigo.

Let me agree with what Love Seeker said. I stayed at Blackbeard's from the 8th to the 13th and had a great time. I recommend it as well. When I figure it out, I'll post some pics that I took there of a few of the ladies that I had.

There is a WIFI hotspot in teh Acropolis mall. It is in the Verizon office. You do need a Flash acount to access it.
One of the MPs in SD has DSL. I may just "donate" a WIFI hotspot to them. So if my lights go out, I can sit at the bar and work!!!

I'm looking to get away for a week or so. Is the Dominacan Republic good for solo travel? Blackbeards looks pretty interesting. Seems like it would eliminate much of the leg work for a novice such as myself.
I have two questions for my fellow mongers, and I want to thank in advance anyone kind enough to answer them.
I have never mongered in the Dominican (I have principally in Toronto, Montreal, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands), but am considering a trip this August. Here are the two questions I have:
First, I have mixed feelings about the attractiveness of the girls I've seen in the photos posted on this website. I do not mean to offend anyone who finds them without exception attractive (nor the girls themselves, of course) -- I know these things are subjective. I also want to say that of course I would sleep with anyone in any of the pictures on this website....I'm not picky. My only reason for concern is that if I'm going to spend a wad of money giving myself a treat, I want it to be special. So could anyone tell me a bit more about what the scene is like in terms of attractiveness, range of attractiveness, etc.? I am not loaded, but I'm happy to pay more for girls that are more attractive. My ideal is 18-30, slender and tight, with a good face.
I know this is a tricky question because these things are subjective, but perhaps whatever answers anyone give will be helpful anyways. (I tend to find some of the women in the Brazil section pretty hot, for instance, but its more expensive there.)
My second question is whether anyone is interested in meeting up in August in the Dominican. When guys sin, it is often more fun to sin in groups.

Hapax, I'll start the responses. I can understand your question / concern though. On average I have found the DR girls posted here to be very attractive, some more than others, some much less. Everyone has their tastes and that's cool. However, I think the consensus is you will find very solid 6, 7's and 8's in DR. Every so often 9 and 10's (just look at flyboy's pics in the photo section).
Flyboys girls, who he found in SD, are strong 9 and 10's to me - slim, hot bodies 18-23 years old. I think that is the gold standard and can be found in any location in DR. (But why hold out for a 10, when you can have 2 really good 5's - or 5 really good 2's - as the joke goes)
My research on Brasil, however, leads me to believe a large proportion of the girls in the termas are of the 9 and 10 variety. With more 6-8's in Help disco or at the beach.
It's all relative and I think either location, you will find women that will make your jaw drop. I would not worry about it in the least. Check out the blackbeard's site showing about 30 or so of their professionals. I bet you will place a 9 or 10 on a number of those pics.

I read your post. The girls look like the girls in the photos. They are all not great. The majority of them are small and bow legged. Also they have a lot of marks on their skin. Also many of them have strech marks. And their pussies stink , not all of them. These girls are not hot looking N.Y. well fed, clean Latinas.But there are some pretty ones . In Puerto Plata the best ones are at El Boem , but their expensive. Also the country is dirty and poor. This not Miami . But saying all that , the place is still great , and the girls are hot in bed, and 18 dollars goes a long way there . And from my experiences the country is safe. There is a web site called Bomba bar, or something like that. Just google for beach bar sosua in image, and this site will show you great photos of how it looks there.

On Dominican beauty: Female attractiveness or the lack thereof is highly subjective. That aside,the majority of mongers that find dominican women up-to-par are the types who tend to be attracted to black women. After all,the majority of em are simply blacks who speak spainish as a first language.If you're not at all into dark chics,I wouldn't suggest the place.
Personally, I've come to believe that although dominican women might not be the most beautifull fems on the planet. They're never-the-less more attractive than american women on average. Have you noticed the huge upswing in the number of"fatties"in the states?. I think 60% of the u.s. is overweight. It's nowhere near as bad in the DR.
