I stopped by Cherepovets for only a couple hours by chance last winter. Based on my limited experience, it's not a fun city, not much going on. Lots of slush, it was dirty, lots of ugly Russian apartment complexes/concrete slabs. The air is absolutely horrible because of the heavy industry. Russians don't care about the environment. I was only there for a few hours and I didn't hobby. Sorry I can't help you much there. My biggest impression of cherepovets is air pollution. I literally couldn't breathe when we drove by the gigantic industry complex.

I did meet a couple of young girls, none of them speak more than 10 words of English. One of the college girls told me they are not required to take English in school.

I will be in Krasnodar for 4 or 5 days in September. I cannot find any reports here but somebody must know something about the place. As it is business my arrangements will be taken care of for hotel, etc. I want to know about the girls! Thanks guys.

Was there last week. Stay away from hotel "Volgograd" - fucking shithole. But the others are probably not better.
Check out "Kair" strip-club. All girls are 10's. $20 to watch all night, no tips necessary, but welcomed. Won't go to hotel with you, or they will be fired.
Hotels have 5-8 girls downstairs, 6-7 quality. Call escort services or go to sauna. Sauna girls are $30 an hour.

Dear Mr. More,

I will be happy to help you with some info with regards to Krasnodar, as I passed through there 4-5 times going to Novorossiysk. (Flight to/from Vienna is in the middle of the night, and I had to stay one day when coming and one day when going).

Stay in the Intourist hotel. All services you need are readily available in the bar on the 4th floor. Normally 8-15 girls or so, ranging from 5-7, a bit pricy as they will initially be asking for 100USD per hour, around midnight you will be able to get them down to 150USD for the night (until 7).

If you go out of the hotel and go to the left, then you will meet an area of street walkers after 100-200 meters down the road. Never tried them, and I doubt that it will be possible to bring them into the hotel, as it looks like the hotel security guys strictly control the girls in the hotel.

The Hotel itself is shit, but ask for a de lux room, and you will get a sort of suite, but still a bit worn, but who cares, you will have fun in the bar….

The prices on the street are 600 rubles for an hour as of this summer. They do cars along the road with girls piled up inside waiting for people to drive up. Taxi drivers can take you, but some are more hesitant than others to find one for you. Downtown along the river with the promenade there are at least two all summer long.

The Hotel Safar has a strip club attached to it and you can have any of the girls in a private room for 1,500 to the club and then negotiate with her once your in the room. I negotiated full sex for 2,500. The hotel also has three hotel girls that can come to your room if you ask at the security desk. high quality beauty's, but spoiled by too many Americans. They want 3,000 and sometimes might give you a hassle about kissing, or GF experience.

I found a red head girl at their version of baskin robbins working, a university student who spoke English, I took her on a date, and gave her a gift and she spent the whole week in my hotel room. Most Kazan girls are very sweet, the street girls especially, but the three and four star hotel pros are too spoiled from oil money in my humble opinion. Hope this helps someone.

Sosnovaya Roscha Hotel is pretty much your only option unless you use a pretty sleazy place that is basically someone's house with five rooms. There isn't much of a scene here because it is such a small town, but I did get a hotel front desk girl that worked there a couple of years ago for 600 rubles for the night, BBBJ and GFE, cute little blonde, but not a supermodel either. You would be better off going to Krasnodar. Pat

lines from the different stations around moscow will carry
you to the 8 destinations i mentioned.

a contact i had before in niznov said the hotels are pricey and
not very good, street walker scene is for truck drivers so hiv
problems, more industrial than academic, so smaller universities,
and going now in summer they'll likely be taking holidays in
the countryside. quality of rental flats is poor, water and electric
power interruptions are common. groups of extremely drunk
soldiers and navy seamen enjoy hanging around the big square
and the cafes singing pleasant ditties about their sweethearts,

I've been to Moscow a couple times already so I'm now trying to extend my adventures into the province. Since I have no business in Russia and unfortunately no one is paying for my trips, after the obligatory visits to the Red Square, Kemlins and touristy things in Moscow I figured it's time to move on and go somewhere else and save some $$$$. All my prior trips have been entirely on my own. No company expense accounts, no local business contacts whatsoever before I went..... I'm under the impression that I'm one of the very few people on this board whos trips to Russia are solely for fun.

I'm still a newbie in Russia, don't speak the language and still clueless about many things. Other than the incredibly useful info I get on this board, and for that I'm very grateful, my guides and local contacts are almost entirely in my wrinkled 5th edition of Lonely Planet.

So forgive my ignorance, I'm still learing the ropes. And thanks for the diagram and post. They might not be useful to the seasoned pros, but to a newbie like me, they're the path to the promised land.

At least there's plenty of tourist things to do,
and with popu. almost 5 million, there's more
pussy than any Russian city except Moskva.

And half the toursits heading there are also
Russians and citizens of FSU countries. Lots
of Ukrainian college chicks go there for summer
vacation because the weather's fine right now.

All those other industrial cities to the east give
you absolutley nothing else to do, so if you
don't have business or friends/family there
to visit, they're quite boring. If you spoke better
ruski, then you'd at least be able to enjoy some
local culture, but as a western tourist, they
won't offer you anything, and you'll actually find
the locals somewhat annoyed that you don't
speak their language. They're much more used
to having russian speaking visitors there on
business than english speaking. Of course, if
your money's doing the talking, they'll listen,
just don't be surprised when the greedy fuckers
try to grab ALL OF IT!
