I found pricing to be the same. I was quoted 50 US for Viktoria for 2 hours which I gladly took but I paid in pounds (30 to be specific). I was expecting somewhere in 100US range from Bunny's posts. Maybe he dresses better than I do so it comes across like he will pay. I have that Salvation Army thing going on sometimes I guess :(.

I really enjoyed my time with Viktoria. Yes, she is not as raunchy or experienced as some girls. I kind of found that she would prefer not to initiate. But again I have a thing for shy girls so that didn't bother me.

I don't tend to bargain too much if the pricing is in an acceptable range. In london, to get a couple of hours of boom boom time will cost at least 250 pounds (400US+). I feel that the Irmak scene gives great value at bargain prices.

I have no clue how best you can taste a "Turkish Delight" in Istanbul. All I can comment on is how NOT to and that is never go in a pavyon or night club believeing naively to their promises targeted to empty your pockets. Although at this point, I do salute my good friend, Local Expert, as he facilitated a similar experience in Ankara for me some time back. My personal choice are the Eastern Europeans especially Moldovians, as I adore a true GFE experience. I believe Turkish working girls are way over rated. (This was not meant as an insult to any nation or people and just reflects my personal opinion from past experiences: as the Chinese say one man's meat is another's poison). As for your hotel selection, I hate to warn you that some of the boutique hotels in and around of Sultanahmet are usually family run small establishments with 10-12 rooms and can be "guest unfriendly" if you know what I mean. Beware. You may consider changing your booking to be on the safe side or be prepared to accomodate your hobby in short time hotels in the worst case. Last but not least, on how to pick up a USD 50/2 hours chick in Istanbul, please use your search function looking for the keyword "Irmak". I just checked and there are 28 previous posts on the place including directions, address, phone number, key personel names, standard operating procedures, pricing info, and even pictures. Trying to hit on every Eastern European chick you see on the street may not be the most efficient and effective way! LOL

FYI, I stayed at Intercontinental once but never noticed talent at their bar but this was a few years back. The situation may have changed since. BTW, I am green with envy having read your last expedition to Istanbul. Have you considered getting enrolled in Holiday Inn's Priority Club Rewards? Looks like we will be staying at the same hotel over and over again.

I agree with you that you may not have to pay in Antalya especially in summer months but you probably will agree with me that CS has done all the right things (except for that bellboy he snapped at) even though he is a total stranger to the area. It is middle of winter, and he spent only 3 days in Antalya, which does not allow too much time to get himself acquinted with ONS's. I am very impressed with his initiative and the lessons he has learned in such a short time. If you think about it, he has been to seedy clubs, pavyons and survived, even managed to find the jackpot places within 3 days. It is simply remarkable. I know people who time after time end up in overpriced Taxim night clubs every time they visit Istanbul simply because they lack the instinct and initiative to explore out of their comfort zones.
I simply take my hat out for our new Istanbul fan: Cupid Stunt.

Gents, please give Cupid Stunt a break. In my humble opinion, there is no reason why you should be offended by his style and choice of words. Yes, he does say that the bus was " crowded with a carriage full of snoring and sweaty turks from Antalya" but so what? He also says that he walked "up and down the streets like a moron". Does that make him a moron? No. Furthermore, you must have taken long bus journeys in Turkey just like I did, and the coaches ARE indeed full of snoring and sweaty people. Especially in winter, when the driver thinks he is doing everyone a favour by cranking up the heater without moderation to simulate a hellish atmosphere… The trains are even worse but I won't even go there. That fact simply does not qualify to be an insult in my opinion. Turks are just as sweaty and snoring as Russians, Thais, or Mexicans. Please do bury your machetes and think why would CS would travel to Turkey if he did not like the Turks? I have to say that I for one have really enjoyed Cupid's FR's.

One final note to all Istanbul mongers, there may be a trip to Istanbul on my radar screen sometime in March or April. I will update you guys as things become more certain. Are we up for another get together at the infamous Holiday Inn and taste CS's precious Victoria for ourselves? Ha ha ha

After writing a short novel in these forums, if those are the only criticisms I am to endure, I'll take it. But in exchange, I do provide a sincere apology as I did not intend to imply that all turks are snoring or sweaty. Instead The bus just seemed to have a disproportionate number of snoring and sweaty people. I mean I smelled none too good either once leaving the bus having marinated in my own sweat for 12 hours.

I suppose the passage was to convey the testiness I felt after such a journey. Such testiness is where one tends to underplay the good things and overemphasize the bad. But not one percentage of that was to imply that I do not like or respect the turkish people, as on the contrary, I do like the people. I travel not for business, but for leisure and this being my second trip should indicate that I like the turks. I will happily return to this fine country and believe it or not, would be the first in line to repeat the bus experience as the coaches are a good way to see the surrounding country.

In general (sorry for making another generalization), Turks are inquisitive about foriegners (outside tourist areas) and are ready to take you in at a drop of the hat. I can't count the number of times I had short conversations with turkish men and next thing you know they are asking you if I want to join him and his friends that night for punting. I mean not in a million years would I ask someone if they want to go bang a pro after about 5 minutes of conversation. I don't know how I'd slip it in to the conversation.

Great to hear from you. I enrolled on the Priority Club scheme during the first stay there last year... but it will take plenty more stays before i can get a room for free !

I am certain you are correct about the rates and that we are over paying, i felt that when i was there. I have very limited Turkish language skills and as soon as the girl realises your are a foreigner - when you utter the fatal words "Do you speak English ?" (IMHO) you face an uphill struggle to beat her down to a reasonable or benchmark price.

The first quote each girl offered me at Irmak was always $100 for 1 shot.

The only thing that i could think of to beat the rate down was to "name drop" of other places in the area that i have been too (and not been too) - that seemed to work ('ish). However, it was not a good idea to mention to the girls that i have been to Bacardi Club as that then led to the question "Why you pay me so little ?" They then quote you Bacardi rates in the middle of the afternoon at Irmak !

I guess i will have to learn more Turkish or improve my poker face.

Have you tried any of the other restaurants adjacent to Irmak. I couldn't help but notice that they all had prettier girls there ?

The max price in Irmak is always $50 for 2hrs and you can go down as low as $25 for 3hrs,but you've got to be patient if you wanna have some kind of quality like in Bacardi where the min rate is $100 for 3hrs.Restaurants around Irmak might seem attractive,but you can never feel comfortable like in Irmak where you'll face a fixed bill of about $25-30.

On my last night in Istanbul on Tuesday I went to Irmak again, this time to the disco. Irmak is excellent in terms of prices, but I cannot say the same for the quality of girls. I hang out there from 11pm until 1am. I didn't really like any of the girls and decided to move to Seranda. At Irmak I paid 12M TL (~$8) for a beer and bowl of pistacios. At Seranda the entrance to the disco is 20M TL and room in the hotel is 45M TL. I hooked up with an Ukranian beauty for $40 for two hours. In my experience quality in Seranda was better than Irmak. I have been to Irmak before on two other occasions. As Vegamars pointed out no matter what you eat or drink you pay something like 25-30 M TL. In both times I had to sit and wait for a while until a decent girl walked in. Most girls were simply below par.

i think i have the film you are talking about. i have i think half a dozen turkish porno's on cd-rom in either xvid, divx or mpeg format. they are near dvd quality.

(xvid and divx are to dvd's what mp3 is to audio cd's - high quality rips's at a fraction of the file size, you can squeeze a dvd movie onto a 700mb cd-rom at near dvd quality)

you don't need to buy these on dvd (unless you actually want to ;-) you can convert the xvid and divx file to dvd and burn them, or you can buy stand alone divx players or (as i do, watch on your pc with the right codec)

you can obtain them for free using a file sharing software called emule along with a broadband internet connection (and obvioulsy a good firewall and antivirus software like norton)

below is a screen shot of the software showing what came up when searching for "turk xxx". if you know the name of something specific type it in - i think the film you are after is available.

a 700mb file may take a 2 days to download. whether or not you can download the file at full speed (then just a few hours at broadband) depends on how many people are sharing it.

i tend to download between 5 - 10 files at a time so that i use 80-90% of my bandwidth as not every file will download at full speed.

emule is really great, i have used it to download all sort of music albums, the very latest software from microsoft and others, regular movies and obviously a few porno's - god bless mario salieri, italian porn is good !!!!!)

i can imagine that not everybody likes p2p file sharing, but over the course of a year, i've downlaod 250gb of music, software and movies !!!
