I was in Kawasaki 12/20 at around 19:00 and all the booths were closed. I took the Keikyu down to Koganeicho and all the booths there were closed, too. A lot of LE driving around with lights flashing. I tried Koganeicho again 12/21 at around 14:00 and once again all the booths were closed. It's happened before. In time LE will find another cause to pursue for a while and the booths will reopen.

I went out to Koganecho last night and all the Pink Booths were closed. Only Police walk up and down the alleys. I tryed again today around 10am and a few of the booths were open. mostly the one with thai girls working them. So I pick one of the thai girls for 7000yen. She couldn't give me an info why so many booth were closed, but she did give me a nice bbbj;) . If anyone finds out what going on over there let us know.

Thanks for the info, Guido, which enticed me to check out Koganecho today (Thursday).

Found kind of a Keystone Cops situation. LE seemed to consist of two squads (each of 3 persons) to patrol about half a mile (total) of Koganecho-Hinodecho lanes of booths, occupied by maybe 100 enthusiastic girls (mainly seemed to be Chinese) eager to sell pussy. This was a no-win situation for the cops. Each time the squad approached the girls draw the curtains and turn out the lights. As soon as the LE walks past it's back to business like in the old days although the market is now down to Y7,000 for a quickie (CBJ+FS). The girls will ask for Y10,000 but no self-respecting Koganecho People's Republic of China capitalist girl would let you walk away if you offered 7. Deng Xiaoping would have been proud.

At Koganecho LE presence seems to be increasing as staff return from new year holidays. Also the number of cashed-up Johns has increased with everone returning from the countryside with new year money envelopes, so the market seems to have returned to Y10,000. On January 3 the number of available girls (20-30) couldn't keep up with the demand.

If not may take a trip there and check it out.

Made a trip to Koganecho today, got there about 1330, Saturday afternoons were usually pretty busy. After reading previous posts, I was still amazed how dead it was, walked the whole area and only saw two girls out, neither one very impressive, looking at the booths a lot of them had several fliers stuck in them, looked like they'd been closed a few days.
Headed up to Mermaid Soapland, only two girls working that accepted gaijin, chose Nami as she was the better looking. Very pleasant girl, probably mid 30's, nice long legs. Excellent on the mat, used her hands very well, although no anal rimming as I previously had from Kurumi and Nana. FS was OK, all service covered and no DFK. Friendly and fun girl to talk to, but she speaks no English so Japanese is required for talking but not getting in the door. Overall a very good, but not great experience.
Walked back to the station thru Koganecho again, previous 2 girls weren't out and saw only one other. I've been up there when it was pretty much closed down before, usually it was early evening and things picked up later. Looked back thru last years posts and didn't find anything about a lack of providers over the holidays. Since some of the posts below say there were a few to a lot of girls out, could be a matter of the right timing. Hope we get back to the old days.

Business seems normal in Kawasaki. Frequented both Minami Machi and Horinouchi areas, and business seems normal, though hours were shortened for the new years holidays.

Regarding my previous post about the drop in activity in Koganecho, I must stress that it was late morning and afternoon on a normal work day. Don't know how things look evenings.
