Rio de Janeiro Reports

Day 5

So I did the beach action. Met some cute chicas. Got some numbers. Two out of 6 guys I was hanging with took something from the beach and said they were great. But my day really started at where the guys said I had to go b/c I wasn't a believer yet. 4x4. I was leaving Rio on Saturday and b/c Friday was a holiday Thursday would be the last chance I would have to get to experience 4x4. I mean, everyone else thinks it is red-hot (Foreshadowing Here) so why should I give up hope on 4x4 yet.

So we hit 4x4 at prime time. Has to be like 6:30/7. The place is packed. A ton of cuties. So yeah, now I start going through the routine and screening applicants. So I'm hanging out for a while, talking to a bunch of different chicas, major time has passed now 4x4 is emptying out. So of course, you know I'm heading to help tonight seeing as though 4x4 failed me or should I say I made poor selection. By the time I make it into help, I'm still thinking to myself. WTF, doesn't this place get any more packed than it is. I mean, today is a Thursday. I can still see straight through the center.

Either way, I'm not finding too much to my liking. End up chilling and then bounce into this one cutie. Nice cutie from Salvador. Fat ass. Generally pleasant. We are at the bar chilling. Then I bring her over to where we are sitting and apparently she was supposed to go with one of the guys from my group the night before (all of this happened after I left though). LOL, anyway. I end up taking this one home and this chica is pretty cool.

I don't remember how or why but we had a good length conversation. I'm not remembering if she spoke some Spanish and basic English but it was what it was. Either way, the romp in the bed was outstanding. Now, she liked to take pics before the romp and I hadn't really been pressing pics all trip during the romp. Now, the girl asked how I know the guy I was at the table with (who is older) and jokingly I told her he is my father. In the morning when leaving the chica says, tonight I fuck your father and you fuck the other girl. I smooth everything over. Chica thought process. LOL.

BTW, I just realized I am leaving out prices here. I generally paid R$200 for every experience outside of the Termas except for the stunner which I paid R$300.

Day 6

So Friday is the last full day in Rio. Holiday. So there were two must do's for me. 1) Luomo. I've been wanting to get back to that spot since Monday. 2) Help: I have to see what it's like when it's busy and at it's full potential.

So we go in for the dupla and shit hits the fan. I don't remember what was the first strike out for the friend but she did something that I wasn't feeling. I think I have probably missed the prime time for Rio but next time I am in Brazil I won't expect much from help.

So I walk around Help and see some stuff but also wondering whether I should try something new or go with something I had before. Day 7

I'm tired as hell but wondering maybe I can get one more in. Call the girl I passed on the night before and she doesn't pick up, but works out for the best. By the time I pack, get money to pay for my apartment in Salvador (F'n bank blocked my card that morning so had to call them to get them to unfreeze it) and figure everything else out I was on the way to the airport. Salvador, here I come. Tired as hell from Rio but looking forward to seeing what is going on.

Just to sum up my experience. Rio is fun. Expensive fun if you hit the Termas a lot but there are ways to cut down on the costs if you do the massage spots, Help, meet at the beach, and as always the negotiating skills.

My favorite Termas this trip was Luomo. I had a great time there. The girls seemed to try and entertain you more, on average. And I personally just liked the boite. Maybe next trip it will be a different Termas but this trip it was Luomo.

Help was a massive disappointment. TA and MP are ok. But it was never flooded to a point where I was just like, OMG look at all of this. Maybe I am desensitized, maybe b/c I am in NYC and I see cute girls in large amounts every day I'm just like whateva, or maybe I just wasn't impressed for good reason. I prefer to think it was the later.

I didn't get to hit up balcony bar and that looked packed one night I passed by.

Next trip I will make sure to hit up Lapa and some areas with regular chicas. I had the intent to but never made it out there.

Yes, I will keep you posted as to non-smoking type places in Rio. i have similar breathing issues and have to limit my mongering excursions to places where I can breathe without killing myself.

It is hard to get Brazilians to understand this problem. For years, the people in Mabs thought I was being rude when I refused to sit on the outside, where all the girls are, but whenever I did I would have an attack. They just sit out there and blow smoke all over the place and the girls sit right near you and smoke, thinking it looks cool, not knowing they are killing you.

I went to BA 85 and headed up to the third floor. There is this one dark brown woman who has taken a liking to me. She refused to let me in the door claiming I had to pay her R15 before coming in. When I got by het and sat down she sat with me and gave me a hand job through my pants.

This certainly was the case but I understand that a recent court ruling may change this. As I understand it, the ruling was that taking advantage or abuse meant that the person was forced into the acts. So, this would not apply to the Termas situations, thus not making them illegal. Basically, it is a new law (lei 12.015 from 7/8/09) that just was interpreted in a court case. If you google "lei 12.015" you'll find a lot of stuff.

If it turns out that way, it would be great as it could create more competition. However, this being Brasil, I wouldn't bet on what the outcome will be.

This club is located in Barra da Tijuca. Physical address is Av. Armando Lombardi, 999 - Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 22640-020. It was about 15.5 km from my apartment in Ipanema. Cab ride from Ipanema Posto 7 was about 20 minutes and the fare was R$27.

This club has 2 floors, and the first floor has a very similar layout to Club 00. When you enter the club, there is a roof-covered courtyard that has a lot of trees - pretty nice, like the inside of a small forest. This courtyard has tables and benches to sit and drink at. It gets pretty hot in there as there is only some open air and no air conditioning. Then there is an air-conditioned connecting room where there is a dance floor that plays the club music. People mingle in the courtyard and go inside to dance, so it's the same setup as Club 00. The dance floor room is quite large.

The 2nd floor is divided into one-part restaurant and one-part gameroom. The gameroom is rather small and has one pool table and a couple of tables for people to sit at.

On Saturday night, we arrived at 11:15p and there was no wait in line. The club was at 10% capacity at this time. One thing I noticed is that early on, there were a lot of dudes! Maybe 3 guys to 1 girl. By 2 am, the club was jam packed. The ratio seemed even, 1 girl to 1 guy. This club caters to a fairly young crowd. I would say 80% are in the 22-30 age range, although I saw quite a few cougars and some fatties sprinkled in. As for the girls, I would say there were lots of hot ones, but I wasn't overwhelmed by them. Maybe my expectations were high from hearing so much buzz about this place. For some reason, I was expecting the creme of the crop Supermodel types, but they were just a lot of beautiful, but not stunning girls. I'd say Club 00 girls can hold up to these girls, except the Club 00 girls are younger in age. Mostly Brazilians at this club - I saw very few Gringos here.

By 3 am, the dance room of this place is so full that you cannot even move around. All the airconditioning in the world couldn't keep all these bodies cool, as it was a sauna in there unless you were directly under the a/c. I can't verify if many of these women at this club spoke English or not. I spent most of my time just dancing with my friend and scoping out the place. I only ended up talking to this one attractive woman in her 30's, who was sitting alone outside the courtyard. She spoke English and was an Engineer. She seemed very uptight - I couldn't make her laugh to save my life. Anyway, the conversation got very boring and one-sided (she answered questions, never asking them) very fast, so I left her alone.
My friend and I ended up leaving at 4am.

When you enter, you get a "credit card" that is used to buy drinks, instead of the traditional drink card that has check boxes to mark on with a pen.

Men - R$70, of which R$50 credit can be applied to drinks. So, for example, if you spend more than R$50 on drinks, any extra is added to your R$70 cover.
Women - R$30, of which R$20 credit can be applied to drinks.
In comparison, the cover at Club 00 was R$40 for both men and women, with no drink credit.

So I'd say that I like both Nuth Lounge and Club 00. I would give the edge to Nuth Lounge because of it's size, but I wouldn't say it's overwhelmingly better than 00.
