Nobody worked harder to discourage everyone on Earth from bothering to spend the time or money to develope and produce a vaccine specifically for Covid-19 while also promoting and defending doing absolutely nothing to mitigate its spread into the Pandemic it became than Donald J. Trump.

He gave the effort that was already happening despite him a name, "branded" it, after it was clear the world needed it thanks so much to his lying and cowardice; Operation Warp Speed. That's it. And not even a very good brand name.

Meanwhile, the vaccine developers judiciously delayed a few announcements of success until it was clear Biden would be more involved in the distribution and administering of their product than Trump no doubt because they knew if they handed that challenge and opportunity to Trump he'd just fuck it up like everything else he was handed in life.

All flights from China to Seattle were stopped from China to slow the virus.
