Great story Giotto! And just think he could have avoided all that expense by only doing short time. For example lets say he spends six months per year in Thailand (high estimate), and pays 2,000 baht per short time (very high end), and does it once a day (he's 62 after all), so we're at about 360,000 Thai baht per year. Certainly cheaper than a wife, and without the ridiculous stricture of having to (mostly) fuck only one woman.

Maybe there is a good reason the girl ignored the customer, Giotto. You don't have a clue what goes on between them when they're out of your bar.
I'm not going to speculate what it might be because the possibilities are endless and most of them have nothing to do with money.
I can say that I've spent a fair bit of time with one of the LL girls and she has declined my offers to purchase gifts for her when we've been together, and never once asked me for money in our email correspondence, nor have I sent her any. She generally behaves less like a prostitute than most of my, and my friends', girlfriends/wives here in Farangland who are financial bloodsuckers by comparison.
I'm a customer, and I still think you should be on the girl's side except in very clear cases. The customers are big boys and have - God knows - loads of options for getting laid in Bangkok. They don't need your help or misplaced sympathy. The girls, on the other hand, need your support and sometimes protection.

Don't worry, I am most of the times on the girls side - may be too much. Sometimes I think I am blind on the customers eye ...
We always tried to make this place a little bit different with all the benefits, support and protection we give to the girls. That's why a behavior like this shocks me. It is furthermore a question of good behavior to say Hello and have a short smalltalk, even if the girl has plans already for later in the evening. The customer knows in which business the girls works, and he cannot complain if the girl has a date already with another guy.
May be she simply had a bad day.

I've gotten the impression that LL is a really good place to work, and I think that pays off in the attitudes of your girls, who are charming by any standard, and great fun to be around.
Whatever you're doing is working, and I know that your customers - including me - rate LL and its ladies very highly.
Went to Nana Plaza G-spot 2nd floor. Nice girls in there. Had a drink, and choose one girl. Her name is "oh" or so. She has No. 1.

Thanks for the flowers, but I am not so sure about that any more.
I think we have some really good girls working at Livingstone's. But if I watch cases like this I can only shake my head. That's exactly what I don't want to happen here. Let's play the game honest and fair - and with good style and behavior. What that girl did that night had no style at all, and only showed bad behavior.
What shocks me most is that she is one of those I considered up to now to be the best...
