I am wondering or you are real know Kenya and the rest of Africa what Neddy tell. I am a muzungu and living all more than 10 years in Kenya also married with a Kenya lady (I am 69 and she is 58).

I have never problems because I respect her and she respect me. I am a hunter and go around Kenya. I live in the suburb of Nairobi.

The lesson what I have learned is be polite and respect the other side in a good way, and you get what you want special when you like me not hunt in the city but up country I have meet ladies of practical all tribes in Kenya and not spend a lot of money for fun but always give them the respect what they want even help them out of problems with school-fees and food.

When you are in a small village buy some fruits and a drink on the market and make a social talk and you will be surprised special when you are with a old Pajero like me to show that I am not a rich muzungu they will give you all the information what you want and going with you to the small hotel for a lunch of diner.

Special the single lady what have the shop on the street like to a company you and even offer you a better option for your need. (That is my experience) because very lady want to show that she have a muzungu friend and show you to her relatives but be straight and let them know that you are not willing to married.

Know also they are all will coming to Nairobi to look for a job and getting a free drive and some money is for them a big present. I do never take them to my place but drop them in town so that they can go to the relative or boy friend who lives all ready in Nairobi.

The most in the up country do not have money for this kind of travel because the payment for the daile job is 200- 300 Ksh for a day what means ther is no saving for any trip or they must have a contract with some body who will pay the travel.

So my friends I am retried and live a good and simple live without any difficulties here even my friend who was living in Kampala is now vacated to here because in Uganda where a lot of problems for him.

Same thing it wasn't about money spent in fact too much money would make you and her a target because of jealously and when it got back to the main GF / family they'd think that you were holding out on her / them. He have now his lessons and know that you not must interfere and go in competition with that kin of people when you want to stay in the country any where in Africa.

The lesson is stay under the radar of that kind of people and play it safe so that you live safe and longer.

The most muzungu's think that they are untouchable because the most Africans play that they like them and for the family you are a status symbol, but do not underestimated what can be happened when they not have profit of you in one or another way.
