It is also a place where people can reconnect to the prices of home. It is why the places slightly off the beaten track that cater to locals and charge local prices (E. G. Mondongos) are always packed to the gills, but you can always get a table at Basilica / Al Rojo.

Hi, Difficult to answer your question as I don't know what your likes and dislikes are? Most guys here prefer to stay in el centro, or Parque Llerars / Poblado or Laureles. So it is a personal choice. I stay in Laureles as it is only a 12 minute ride to Parque Lleras if I get the urge to go or if I am going to meet someone there. El Centro is not for everyone, but that is only my opinion.
