[B]November 3 (Day 3: Monday)[/B]

I checked and it was just some time left for me to catch breakfast at the club. Went on had a decent bite. Back to room to action out the plan for the day. Had a lot of time on my hand hence walked across the FOB to get a foot massage. Really amazing experience for 250 baht an hour with 50 baht. Same thing costs 40 SGD in Singapore. Walked upto the local foodspot at entrance of Insanity disco. Light lunch with Mango smoothie. 200 baht I thin. Pretty decent food. Back to hotel for some lazing around in the pool or tub either one is ok for me. Having to choose between Eden and oily I decided to for latter basis of my experience the earlier day.

I stepped out at 5. 30 pm and decided to go to Cherry. Took the BTS and walked up to the place. Got in. Two east asian guys were sitting there already. I waited till they walked out. This would be my first visit to a gogo bar. I continued but then decided that I should walk out the scene around this area as well. So instead I walked towards Grace hotel on right. Had read about it and seen on youtube. I reached there and was immediately caught hold of by a lady in middle eastern dress. Asking me whether I wanted to boom boom. I politely refused and continue to walk through. The quality here was really bad. Big and ugly women. Don't know who would want to get in on with them. Anyways I should not be judgemental. People have varied tastes and hence these women are there on the street I guess. Am sure they must be rocking someones boat. Am not to return this side again.

I crossed over the road into Nana plaza and continued my walk to scope out the street. Saw the entrance to NEP. Lot of people walking in. Place seemed to be live with loud music playing from different bars. I continue on. Spot Rajah Hotel on the right. Needed to check I think so I crossed the road and walked toward the hotel. As soon as I reached one guy approached me saying. Want Russians. I said to myself what was I thinking. I turned back and walked down the road away from NEP. Few massage parlours down the road. Few beer bars with pool tables and girls sitting lonely on chairs or with men staring on the road. What is the modus operandi of the girls who are alone. Do they approach you. Can we approach them. Are they for takeout or just to get you drinks at the place. Would request inputs for future visits.

I returned to NEP and stood outside having a smoke. Saw a LB swearing out loudly at some white guy on the street and the guy was just walking away to avoid a scene. I paused for a few minutes. Place was as big as Shock but had a small dance area in the center compared to the dance stage in shock. Two small podiums (drums) were kept at each corner on left near the bar area with one girl dancing on each. Got myself a JD cola from the bar and took a table. Place was almost empty. Had to be. It was a Monday. How could I forget that. Took a walk across the place. Not much available. Few options but not worth considering. Got myself back and nursed my drink. In the meantime the girls dancing on the drums were swapping each other in 7/10 minute interval. I was sitting close to one of these podium. The earlier girl now excused herself to the toilet. Her friend hung on to me. She started usual pleasantries and suddenly waved at the girl walking with Absolut shots. The girl came over and she wanted me to buy some shots for her. I had enough and said I don't want to. She also excused herself to the toilet. I was thankful and decided to go back to the hotel. I walked out crossed the FOB and got down in front of Thermae thinking whether I should go in or not. Lot of LBs were standing. I decided to just get back to the hotel and rest. I will return to Insantiy during a better day of the week in my next trip.

Till this time I was confident that I will manage to avoid any cons or free drinks but these girls had really pulled a fast one on me. Advice to other newbie mongers like me coming to Bangkok. Beware.

[B]November 4 (Day 4: Tuesday)[/B]

I got up in time for breakfast. Had planned to finish basic sightseeing in the first half. Got out of the hotel at 11.30 am. Crossed FOB then it just started to rain. Got into taxi. Asked him to take me to what Pho. He asked for 200.I agreed .25 minutes we were there. Went in. Moved onto the Royal palace and Emerald Buddha. Was done by 2 pm. Hungry. Took a cab to victory monument. Had to try the noodles being my fav and also recommended by Natty Bumpo. It was very easy to find basis his post. I ordered for 1 bowl with pork. The guy asked me again how many bowls I wanted. I insisted one. He somehow managed to tell me that 1 is too less. So I asked him to get two. When he got those two I realized what he was saying. These were small bowls with barely two or three mouthful. I asked hom for a cola and ordered 2 more bowls. After 4 bowls and 1 cola later I realized why Natty takes the trip to Boat noddle alley. You need to try this. Atleast once. I took the BTS back to hotel and rested for a while. Also need to pack up as I was going to check out next day morning and it was going to be a busy second half running late into the night.

[B]Poseidon: Soapy[/B]

I contemplated between Poseidon and La bella but decided to go with the former. Walked down to Asoke. It was 6 pm took the MRT. Extremely crowded. Peak hours. Walked towards it. Doormen asked me to go to counter first and buy a beer. Strange. Was not the only one asked too. Others were following the process so did I. I got up at 9. 00 am. Had quick breakfast at the club. Had to reach airport by 11.30 am for my flight to Singapore and another 4 nights of fun. .had pre booked the same camry cab back to airport. But had some baht left which I wanted to convert before leaving for Singapore. Rates are obviously better in the city hence had to do it there. I did not have the time to get to Superrich so I decided to walk towards the place on corner of soi 7/1.recommended by natty I think. Was a good idea anyways. Place is called Vasu. They had the exact same rate as superrich. Got the money exchanged. Got 220 euros in return. Wondered despite spending well I managed to save some money. Would come handy in Singapore as it is a pricey market for mongering. Came back found the cab waiting in the parking area. Went up. Checked out and left for the airport.

Though my stay was short I managed to experience all options possible except Eden. Will try that on my next trip. I have just scratched the surface of this lovely city. I really liked my stay here, girls have been very service oriented. Haven't experienced much of that in Europe yet. Almost all were GFE experiences. Maybe I was lucky. Maybe things work like this here. Girls were very courteous and humble. Once they are with you they devote themselves to you during that period. Biggest plus point and motivation to come back again. My plan was to cover lot of FL places in my trip as those interest me more and BKK has them dime a dozen. At the same time I also needed to experience both NEP and Soi Cowboy being my maiden visit. On my next trip I might visit Baccara once but will probably stick to the FL scene. GFE is what I look for.

Although the club is average at best (and very overrated) as compared to Q-Bar or Levels I never had a issue getting in and I am American of South Asian Descent. I was with an Escort though and maybe that had a part to play in it. I think they also gauge you by how much money you would spend in there and if you are with a girl / escort they may be inclined to believe you will want to impress her, maybe buy bottle service, etc, as opposed to flying solo. Just my two cents on this one.

I need to get from Bangkok to Tel Aviv in January. Should I make the flight reservations before I get there or is it less expensive to do it in Thailand. I would not mind routing through Italy for a few days on the way to see a few sites.

Advise on the best way to go would be very welcome.

I've been to Nataree a bunch of times now, and love the quality of the girls there. Are there any other places with girls of that caliber? I've heard of Poseidon. Is that worth checking out? Been going to Nataree too many times lately and want a change of pace.

Huay Khwang has Nataree, Hi-Class, Caesar's, Emanuelle (I think Amsterdam and Poseidon aren't too far away). Rama 9 (I have noticed on the way to the airport) has Colonze and Catherin'es (I think, still haven't checked them out). Then there is La Belle (a pink building) just outside of a BTS station (the name slips my mind). Also, if I am not wrong even Annie's is a soapy (but recent reports aren't favourable). Again, for the OP, it is highly recommended that you read the report from Scorcher75 / Shocker (link in the ROD section) who went to several high end soapies and made a good report.

A soapy crawl is an interesting idea LOL, but I am not sure, if the papasans will be too happy for clients to lounge about and have a drink or two. On a busy day in Nataree, the papasan is busy tending to other customers and will not hassle you unless you get up and walk around to check out the sideliners. But on a slow day, he is going to (at least appears to) breathe down your neck to chose and make it quick. Only reason I prefer the stock at Nataree is that they are consistent, pricing structure is easy to understand and basic service is assured.
