I went to Eden spa today, very happy with my hour there. Staff told me they were closed tomorrow for holiday. Not sure about the termas.
First time in Brazil, trip report to follow. A big thank you to ShinyCrazy, his Idiots guide has been so helpful.

I don't think they had Food or any facilities but it was clean and everyone was friendly. The rooms had showers.
There was around 15 women there and at least 3 I would have taken.
If you are expecting Solarium / Centaurus quality you will be hugely disappointed but its a nice alternative to 4 x 4 and very cheap just to go in and have a drink. 4 x 4 is 70 entrance with no consumption, which seems quite expensive to me for a centro terma.

Dude is right. Over the course of several trips I cannot tell you how many things I lost, stolen, forgotten in RJ or SP. Learned to find and use the no frills no tell motel in centro, copa, botafogo, gloria, lapa for hood and prive garota takeout, not the airbnb suite, keep stuff away from frisky garotas, wearing pants with double inside pockets, in a vehicle roll down windows turn on inside lights when police roadblocks ahead say nothing, went back next night to each Termas to find my clothes, now I wear the robe over the clothes.

This trip I had leftover banknotes from mongering in Tijuana and CDMX, I think it is 20 pesos Mexican banknote is bluish dunno, then mongered in DR Santo Domingo, the airport ATM gives 2000 pesos seems bluish dunno, Panama all greenbacks, brasil back to bluish banknotes.
I dislike getting coins back in change. A few times unknowingly tried to give tip in coins from the wrong country or pay tolls in wrong coins.

Anyway, the Hollywood myth of fireworks and eternal love, like religion and eternal heaven or hell, democracy and the legal scam, are bullshit to control us. The trick is is make us believe in it so we self-regulate on their rigged game. The men here are obviously onto the Hollywood lies about eternal love, but often miss the rest of the puzzle, and a really big bit is being genuinely self-confident in who you are, self -improvement through doing the hard yards, and trusting critical thinking and cold assessment of what is done or not done, rather than cheap talk and lofty claims, ie "you can trust me". The missing self-development, lack of building relationships are lack of self care is why so many devolve into alcohol (drug) and mongering to fill the vacuum and why there are so many suicides of loners in sexual paradise like LOS or Rio. That is as much as a trap as a wage slave at will being ground down in some corporate plantation.
Rio is great. I'm enjoying the broad fabric, the food, nature, normal locals as real friends (that also requires real work) and generally the opposite of USA that is a mainly an empty society of shopping malls and entertainment (that includes the media and corrupt politicians) and escapism.
Have fun, and yes the P4 P women are mostly poor, desperate with nothing to lose and will try to take advantage as a trade for fat, smelly, unfriendly or even violent and badly groomed men slobbering over them for cash or to use as a human fleshlight.
