I was viewing ISG and the page closed itself and webssearches opened in a new window. I am wondering if it installs itself when viewing ISG? Anybody else having the same problem?

You might need an expert to assist you.

I had some pesky websearch replacement home page in the past and remember took several attempts to clean it out completely.

Go into the control panel and under system and security look for the option to restore your computer to an earlier time, hopefully something around 1 month back or so is available. If that doesn't work another option is to just reset your computer to factory settings (you'll lose everything).

Seriously, what's going on in BKK about FL scene?

As compared to my Feb. Visit, the number of freelancers on Sukumvit was down by as much as 60-80% ! I am not kidding, there were no more than 50 girls around 9 PM on the road whereas in Feb I must have seen 200+. The pickings were slim and horrible. The FL scene seems to have gone down the drain completely, perhaps due to crackdown by army. Visited Biere garten couple of times, my friend liked a girl that looked crappy to me. Anyways, turned out to be total crap, had to get her out of room in 30 minutes. Waste of 2000 bahts. On at least 4 visits, I hardly saw any doable, let alone nice ones except one who spoke excellent English.

Does anyone know why the FL numbers are so low?

At this rate BKK is reduced to MPs, a go-gos and Bars.

Was in Bkk for 3 nights. Had a amazing time with some FLs. I will keep this short and crisp.

Day 1.

Slept till noon and ventured out to the pool area made couple of friends from Greece and Poland. We all headed in the evening to Levels. Set sight on a cute 24 year old Noi. Partied till midnight and took her to the room for 1500 B. Excellent service and all on the menu except anal. She realised in the morning that she lost her phone in the taxi. Went with her in the morning on the hunt for her phone.

Day 2.

Visited Nataree at 2 pm. Still the best place to go to among the soapies. They have the best women ranging from 2600 B to 5000 B. Got a busty one for a change in routine from the past night adventure. Good Service and VFM. Evening headed to Climax opened a bottle before 11 pm got a 50% discount. The were 4 waiters and some 10 girls around the table. Caught up with a South American chick and got her to join the table and we got drunk and made or way back to the room. What a night it was worth every penny spent for the Bunda.

We are good friends now and in touch regularly.

Day 3.

Visited Addict massage average line up did one 20 year old and moved to Mango who had a good line up. Choose Mae she was amazing and also did anal with no extra cost ended in CIM. Night again fixed up the date with my previous night girlfriend and head to Spasso. Had a rocking time and did her in my hotel again but for free this time as she had no customer and liked me.

I have been visiting Thailand for the past 9 years. The best part of this Country is I get to have adventures and meet new people. Every visit is a new experience but nothing would have changed in general.

The streets of Bangkok used to overflow with freelancers at night but those days are long gone. This metamorphosis though has speeded up dramatically over the past few years basically due to the police arresting girls on a regular basis. It made being out on the streets economically untenable plus there were other options. Most of the FL scene has moved indoors with girls going to late night discos, Thermae, Gullivers or Beer Garden or onto the Internet. Even taking this into account though the FL scene is still not all that great; prices have risen, numbers have declined, average age is much higher and though quality is in the eyes of the beholder I don't hear but a few who think the looks of most of the fls are worth a bucket of spit. I went back home for 2 months and even in that small period of time I have noticed the number of girls around Nana Hotel has shrunk even more with many nights no more than 5-10 girls out. Of course this is part of a larger trend of girls finding other work options than renting their bodies out by the hour. But that is another story.

Yes, increasing salaries in Thailand over the past 10 years is a big part of it. I think bigger than the police issue. A gal can now support herself without having to "supplement" that income. I miss the "semi-pros" of 10-15 years ago. Gals who worked and office job and came out a few times a month to make a little extra. They always seemed to make a good time of it and were selective and for the most part horny as hamsters; a far cry from most full time FLs today. And those that are bright and can speak and write a little English are working the net and the high dollar hotel discos. So what are we left with on the street and the lower end venues? Gals that are either not smart enough to get a "legit" job or those that are just plain lazy and prefer the lifestyle of a parasite. Neither option is that attractive and it is a trend that will not reverse itself. In just a few short years the scene here will resemble what you have in most developed nations. Very high end and very low end and nothing in the middle. The middle was the bread and butter for many of us for years. Sad to see it go.

Your visit in Febrauary 2014 should have been the high season, but due to the political turmoil at the time it was a very low season. ISG reports at the time indicated it was a value time to be in Bangkok. Few punters meant more girls per guy & so therefore it was easier to pick up an attractive or even stunning girl.

OTOH fast forward to November 2014, a true high season in Bangkok. Many ladies are just not available relative to the low season as their returning repeat customers are booking them as soon as they arrive. Therefore they have no need to be on the streets soliciting business.

Like I've said before, a number of times, I always find the low seasons are the best time to visit Bangkok.

But that is another story.[/QUOTE]Even as recently as early 2014 one could often see 20 ladies of the street sitting outdoors by the Nana Hotel restaurant & another 10 standing at the sidewalk next to the hotel car park, so 30 in total. As the lineup would continue to change throughout the evening, I'd estimate around 100 different girls in total per day.

FF to November 2014 the hotel has new ownership that doesn't want them on the property, so the girls who used to sit or stand near the restaurant have gone elsewhere in the nearby vicinity. One doesn't need to hire Sherlock Holmes to discover where.

From my observations, comparing early to late 2014, the candy there now is generally younger & of a far higher quality in looks than in the video I posted recently from December 2013.

In that December 2013 most bodies were not of any interest of me looks wise, but the same would be true of any beer bar, gogo or FL venue I've ever seen in the NEP district. Still there were several very doable to choose from, even for those like myself who are quite picky & prefer looks of a higher standard. BTW I've often seen hotter ones there than in that vid.

As other punters have said here several times before, all you need is one. One lovely hole to be filled with one hot dog. I only have one, not 10 like my toes. So why focus on the unattractive ones? It seems less available these days except for maybe exceptional girls, or due to tougher times, more girls are wanting to get a salary.

Soapies also used to have a lot of freelancers, that work when they feel like it. Perhaps they still do. I am not sure.

Oily MPs don't have many freelancers, I think. Girls are required to work very heavy schedule and have fines for taking extra days off.

Annies and Dr BJ etc. , has a price for a guy buying a girl out of perhaps 200 K Baht. This means the girl leaves but can still return in the future. I have heard of a girl "buying out" herself for a reduced fee in order to become a freelancer and attend on a more casual basis.

I have a tendency to like freelancers of these types, whether in bars or Soapies, because they are not necessarily worked to exhaustion, and can have more interest to have fun. Its also a very good idea to visit MP working girls very early in the day before they get tired, to get an energetic performance. I have also had good experiences with other freelancers, but not so keen to pick up in Biergarten due to high percentage of low standard looks. Thermae in years long gone by was good for me.

In modern day I don't really like the music in discos, "Spicy" was particularly bad for the music (would not go there again), as I come from the rock era, the lengthy waste of time, and don't want to drink alcohol. Oh yes it has risen, ha ha, with what sort of lifestyle? The average Thai wages per month has reached just over 13,000 baht from just over 6000 baht 10 years ago. Ichecked the official figures. Consumer price index for the real basics has not increased quite that much. However modern girls buy expensive gadgets like iphones, Galaxys, tablets, etc. In old days very few would dream of using that sort of money.

I rent a small apartment now well out from the expensive areas. Its still over 10 K per month including the electricity bill. Who could survive on a 13 K salary? I went to Tesco with Mrs. The other day and she stocked up on a few bottles of soaps, shampoos, lotions etc. I still got a bad shock when my shopping bill was over 3 K. I was able to carry these goods home by hand, so not such a massive amount by weight. This is for Thai goods, not imported. However, price of petrol (gas for Americans) is very high here compared to USA, so cost of transporting goods is very high.

Is it as easy for a sex worker to make double what they could 10 years ago. Perhaps not. Perhaps the possibility that sex work is becoming less lucrative (for very average girls) could be a bigger issue, making other normal work pay seem a little more competitive. I do know some special girls that are very busy making big money but it surely is not the norm. I know plenty that are struggling, but still forced to do it when their other work just had no customers.

Take a hot sex worker that I know who makes well over 100 K per month. Compare that to what she would earn in a normal job, with no high education. She would make peanuts in a normal job, 10% if she was lucky. She is still studying English as I am sure she will plan to retire from sex work eventually, and will have to do something else.

I agree with you and DRRonin's excellent analysis. Rising prosperity is changing the scene all over the world but Thailand seems to be moving faster than other countries. I was literally stunned to see massive vaporization of FLs. Perhaps some have moved to cyberspace but at this rate, BKK will begin to resemble developed countries scene.
