Decided to try a change of scenery and went to the SNU BS since

I had not been to a BS in a while.

The confusion may be in the start location. There are 2 train stations close to this area: Yongsan and Sin Yongsan (they are on different lines so depending on which one is more convenient for you). I previously used the Yongsan station, the one with the stairs you mentioned (although I haven't used Sin Yongsan to confirm that too does not have a stairwell in front). So presuming you start at Yongsan, you walk kinda south east and you hit this areas within 5-10 minutes, and the "South" row is furthest away. If you get to the Sin Yongsan station, you have passed the area. I last took some guests there 7 months ago and had high quality choices without any comment about my foreign friends. Hope that helps.

You are correct, I have not been to the "hill" since the major crackdown about 2 years ago. Similarly, I avoided Itaewon because I understood there to be undercover police there once in awhile, plain clothed to make life more difficult for punters. I do not have much verification on this last point, just one local person's advice for whatever that is worth.

What is going on now in 588? This is my favorite RLD so far, alot of Korean Hotties (8-10) scale. I'd try one of the many Anma's around the Inter'Cont. There was a previous post (by SeoulSurvivor I believe) about the W Anma in that area. I've visited W before and I had a very nice session. It did require some Korean, but my Korean is very limited. The staff was able to pick-up in English when needed.

I walked the hill one night this week. As far as I could tell, there was not much change in the overall quality since last fall. I did see a couple of 7s, but most girls were in the 3-4 range with a couple of 1-2s in the bars at the very top. I really cannot understand how they can get any business whatsover. IMHO, one would have to be "blind" drunk to go for it.

One of the 7s had the balls to ask me for 250k ST. Even the 3-4 range wanted 80-100k ST and the dogs, 40-50k.

There are some dogs on the Hill but there are a few catches on and around the Hill. You can usually find some solid 7s at Rosy and VIP/Royal. Normal rates are 50K for BBBJ and 80-100K for ST. Anal is available at Rosey (and other places) for 200K..sometimes less. The Hill is very much YMMV. Some chicks look like 3-5s but offer super service during 90 minute sessions. Some 7+s offer poor service for 10 minutes of action.

Some enjoyable gems can be found off the Hill as well in places like Peach Phuz, Starbutts, and if you like freelancers, at the King Bar.

Have fun. There are some good deals but it takes time to find them.

Well I've lurked these forums long enough, and finally have a little bit to contribute. I'm sure nothing in this will be new for the veterans out there.

I was out recently with a couple of Korean friends celebrating one of them moving to the U.S soon, but the bar scene was dead that night. Finally, one of my friends said he wanted to go to Miari to see what it was like, although he refused to actually pay for one of the girls to service him.
