Maybe not every day but they rotate in. You might get lucky and she is still there. I have seen the same SW ladies sticking to their same lower Suk spots for years.

Google Thailand population pyramid and you will see that it inverted in 97. This is an aging population. The birth rate has been declining for years. In less than 40 years the country will have twice the number of seniors than it has kids.

Also, have you been to Isaan lately? Do you have any idea how fast it is developing? Seen what land values have done in the last 5 years in the North East? Kids are starting to stay put in provinces like KK and Udon because there is far more opportunity.

Even if that's not the case, the lower Sukhumvit red light zone is not that large and the number of venues is finite. If you take a few days to snoop around, you might find her, if indeed she's still working. Do you have her photo by any chance? Might help if you intend to ask around (although the outcome of doing that is unpredictable).

Almost none of the WGs there were mothers. Why? Because the Chinese guys would not take gals with baby drag on them. Sure wish it was that way here in LOS. Never has been sadly.

I was wondering what percentage of (mongering) farangs come to LOS from different countries? USA and Europe vs lets say from UK and Australia etc?

Does anyone have any idea?

Are those places still worth visiting post crackdown or is there not enough action there now?

A real crackdown could happen in Thailand but I think we are a decade or two from seeing it.

Korea used to have one of the most vibrant scenes in Asia. New Years Day before the olympics they swooped in and shut it all down. The Mayor of Manila closed most of the naughty bars in Manila. It is a shadow of its former self. So will it happen in BKK? One would think at some point it will. But when? That is the question isn't it!

Australia & France roughly doubled their arrivals to LOS.

Earlier this month in Canada, BTW, it became illegal to buy sex. Before that it was legal. So expect even more Canadians to travel abroad for their fun.

Unlike expensive first world South Korea, LOS is a very poor country & third world. Like Japan the sex industry there is rather closed to foreigners. So for a number of reasons South Korea is not appealing to the multitudes of hobbyists looking for value & bang for their buck. But Thailand is, has been for a very long time & should continue to be.

According to the following opinion South Korea has the second most PFP gals per capita than anywhere in the world.

People live longer in a millennium of vastly superior medical care. Therefore prostitutes can stay healthy & in the business much longer. Thus there is less turnover & less need for it or replacements. They can cater to the aging populations who tend to have more disposable cash.

I was in Hanoi recently. It is not an aging but very young city. It is also poorer than Bangkok, cheaper for foreigners to live or visit & has more beautiful ladies. In spite of all that, it is in the peewee leagues of PFP, so has no chance of competing with professional major league destinations in Siam. Vietnam is like travelling by foot while the Kingdom goes at warp speed. The chance of Vietnam catching up to Thailand in this business in the next decade is yours of winning a huge lottery payout. Even if today all ladies in Bangkok were over 40 years of age, Vietnam would still be far less than half of what BKK would be.

Its all changing here and changing quickly. We have seen as countries advance economically the scene both diminishes and the prices increase. It happened in Japan and Korea. It will happen here. Its happening already. When I first started coming here 20 years ago it was as likely that a working girl was from down south or the Chiang mai area or from Bangkok as she was from Issan. As those areas prospered over the years the working girls from those areas dried up. I would guess today that at least in the venues of gogos and fls, 95% of the girls are from Issan. Issan is now slowly (due to some degree to the hated Thaksin policies and also to the money pouring in from Issan people who work in Bangkok) also advancing economically. Thus their numbers are also diminishing and pricing is going up. This combined with demographics, westernization, a better educational system and social media have created a trend that is not likely to turn around unless something dramatically bad crashes the economy. As prices continue to increase mongers will slowly fade away when their cost threshold is reached. We all have one. That will change the scene even more and will continue to effect the number of girls in the business.

I don't think the Chinese will ever come here in masses for mongering. At least I hope not. The customers effected by the crackdown in Dongguan were mainly Hong Kong Chinese. My guess is that most local towns and cities have plenty of girls available for the locals and if it is like Dongguan they are both cheaper and better looking than their Thai working sisters.
