Massage women all over Burgos, don't know the deal but have to assume.
I met one massage girl who wanted 3000p for sex. I laughed and walked away. There are other streetwalkers (non massage) who will fuck for 1500, way better deal than any of the bars!

Havana
Here's a report from Havana. Girls sit on public area seats and try to get your attention by smiling. They're far away so its hard to judge the talent. Or even if they are doing as part of the game.
This place is great though. Beer (sml) is 105 peso. The waitresses are hot as hell! My kinda place!
Thank you Cebu Pacific for canceling my flight! I got to avail the greenbelt! LOL

Palladium at New World
if you let them know you are staying at the new world (show your card) , you get to get in free.
first off- thank you wr, neufie, and key master for your replies. much appreciated. unfortunately the work week was quite hectic and i was not able to sneak away and try any of the options mentioned. however my colleagues left early and i extended my stay through the weekend for some fun. the last few days have been a bit of a blur, so rather than attempt to recap, some general observations / notes on the places i visited:
new world hotel
very nice hotel, great location, and i scored the 99usd crazy rate on asia travel. my only peeve is internet costs 750php per 24 hours, i would assume at a 4-5 star hotel the internet would be included. never had any issues bringing girls back, they do ask for i. d. and give you a call when the girl leaves.
havana
i love the energy around the gb3 courtyard in the evening, however passing by havana a few times over the weekend, between 7-9pm, it appeared a bit more subdued than usual. fairly busy, but did not have obvious wgs or the overwhelming girl:guy ratio that i've seen in the past. again, this was just in passing, so perhaps there was more action going on than it appeared. lots of lbs in the general vicinity, though some potential gems around starbucks and the other restaurants nearby. i did not partake here.
burgos
bottoms- raunchy, fun. girls and mamasans are bit pushy, but the talent here imo is top quality and their outfits are very revealing so no surprises when you take a girl out. bf is 3900, minus lds. i went here my first night and admittedly got a little carried away on the drinks, so bf was only 2000. probably the busiest of the bars on burgos i visited.
bourbon st- very high energy, if you prefer dance music and a club / disco type atmosphere this is a good place. surprisingly, the least pushy of the places i visited, and talent was also good. bf is same, minus lds. always make sure you ask to subtract the lds you get for the girls.
high heels- small place, has a private room as confirmed by wr. a little too small and aggressive here, i got mobbed by at least 8+ women before i even had a chance to sit down. i bought a ld for 2 girls just to get everyone else away, but they still wanted tip just to leave us alone. go figure.
discos
icon- i prefer to keep the night going for a while after picking my girl, so both fri / sat i went to discos afterwards. first stop was icon, at intercontinental hotel. not very busy on a friday night, though it looked mongering friendly. most girls appeared to be wgs already with dates, though a few groups of girls were rep001tered around and looked available. plenty of tables to set your drink down, more of a people watching club. 500php cover for both guy and girl.
palladium- attached to new world, a little more swanky compared to icon imo, and less mongering friendly. very busy, and saw what appeared to be many locals. my date commented lots of young people from rich families like to come party here. 500php cover, though you get a drink voucher included with that. palladium has 2 rooms, one for hip hop and one for house music.
i think that about covers it. i intended to check out the edsa bars and mbc, but the proximity of burgos was too convenient to pass up for a short weekend trip. met a number of beautiful ladies, got a few numbers for next time, and overall thoroughly enjoyed myself. thanks for all the great tips from the board!
I recently had no wifi at the fields place or where I was staying in 4 star place. It doesn't take long to rtff and establish before hand back up plans for internet. For eg. At greenbelt 3 there's some sort of free wifi which you can use. That's where I posted my report on Havana. Then other places come into the picture. Most places will happily just give you their password.
If, for example. You are staying at St Giles in Makati, go 20m to City Garden for breakfast. Why? Its 100 peso cheaper at 400 and their wifi is free. No passwords. Save and save. Respect to all the cheap Charlies! LOL. Hatguy

With taxes the price is nearly 4, 000 PHP for the "big" room and 3, 000 PHP for the "superior". I'm not going to the "superior room" because it would depress me to go to the Philippines to go a room smaller than a european ibis.
I check old emails superior was 57 USD (2400 PHP) and deluxe 72 US (3000 PHP) in 2010. Those prices were tax inclusives and I received a 10% atomatic discount on those prices.
The only good breakfast in the area in the Mandarin Oriental.

Giles on their website before I booked at new world and they gave me a 2500P rate for a stay of 17 days and breakfast was 240P per person. That was for the superior room which is SMALL. CM and your other name SB have to be crazy narcissistic as to create two egos on here to support yourself. Thats just wierd and sad (I'm sure you will read this hehe) I stayed there last year and it was ok because they had the speacial rates with breakfast listed on their site because the hotel was new. The smaller superior rooms are on the corners of the hotel and have a killer view of the city with large windows on two walls. I actually like the room but nowhere to stretch out. There is a SMALL pool on the roof top and the views from there of the city are nice. They have a Penthouse room on the top level adjacent the pool area. Last time I was there they were still doing finish work on the room and I was able to take a tour. It was a two level room but not much to speak of for a Penthouse.
Oh the cam model I posted on photo gallery was in that corner room. There was a tall bbuilding being constructed across the cornr from st. Giles then and you could see all the construction work being done durring the day from the room. At night time I saw alot of the work crew stay on the site and live there durring the job. We could see them with lights on and eating and drinking and looking back at the rooms at the hotel. Our curtains were wide open as we wer fuking and my girl was getting off giving them a show. Fun times.
BTW thanks for all the recent reports on the makatithread regarding restaurants and nightlife. Good stuff! I will report back some things after my stay.
Peace out

At Palladium they still charged me. Maybe depending on the night but few times they have charged me despite being a guest. Always ask for extra key to the room so your girl can also get in for free. Also return just one key upon departure so next time you can stay where ever you want and still get in for free at ICON.
Good idea if you don't mind the beggars. I guess if you can walk fast and escape its ok!
Beggars are everywhere, I can ignore but at times give them the loose change in my pocket.
One business contact I know (pinoy) takes the decent left overs from the restaurant where he is eating and gives it the beggars (kids). You can't ignore them and they will soon give up if you ignore them even if you are accosted in the 7/11 down the road from St Giles

Havana Cafe update
A good friend, non ISG, but a monger nonetheless, was speaking to me today and said he was at Havana last night. Guess what. He says the girls have returned as he was sitting there and saw many cute ones looking for dates / pick ups and would have taken the one next to him but was already promised to 2 sisters LOL who were soon to arrive. And they did shortly after.
Some LBs on the outside. What would HC be without them. But seems service is back to normal.
Perhaps commercial sense prevailed. Guys were not coming (or not staying) so takings down? Who knows but the source is very reliable and I hope it continues to be back to normal

Sports Bar
What are the best Sports Bars in Makati area?
I would like to watch the Silva vs Sonnen UFC fight, which takes place July 7 at MGM Grand in Vegas.
If the fight is on a Friday night in Vegas will they play it live on Sunday morning in Phil? Or will they show a replay later that evening?

I would only think it is back to normal if the WG are allowed inside the Cafe.
If you let them know you are staying at the New World (show your card) , you get to get in free.
I didn't think to mention I was a guest till after the fact, but good to know, thanks for the tip. I think I read somewhere a few pages back that Palladium still charges even if you're a guest as Mc Don mentions, but can never hurt to ask.
On a related note, does anyone know how much either Icon or Palladium charges for the VIP booths and lounge seating areas? When I checked out Icon, they had many tables, but standing room only. Palladium was very busy when I went and only VIP or reserved seating areas were available.

Outside the Havana
If even allowed to be at the chairs outside the Havana is enough for me.
When not raining, its an ideal pickup place. No beggers, no pill and pen pushers, no smoke (at least not as bad) , No whumpa whumpa from the music, and safe with the gaurds walking around.
Green belt 3 court yard (Not just Havana seating area) is an ideal oasis in the middle of a big shit hole.
WR.
Thanks so much for this tid-bit. I may go back to Manila again after all.
