1. Did anyone ever send his longtime-Girl for a medical check to a doctor in Angeles?

I did this last year in Pattaya for about 20 US-$ a doctor made within 1 day HIV-Test and Check for Gonorrhea, Syphilis and so on.

Is something like this possible in Angeles?

2. are the SOB-Parties still present? Somewhere I read from a similar event from another bar group but forgot the name (something like dogs-Party)

3. I intend to proceed to Boracay with a new-found Girlfriend for one week - or is in Boracay enough material? How much charge girls in Boracay?

I guess that from the POV of a provider, what you say makes sense. Obviously if you are selling a Honda and someone comes in offering to buy one at 100 times list price, you will sell.

However, this forum is for buyers of the service. So I ask, why would anyone in their right mind pay over the list price for a service? Why would you pay 100 times the list price for a Honda, when you get the same Honda as someone paying list price?

One of the things that consistently come out of these forums is that while YMMV, there is often no direct relationship between price paid, and service offered.

I have had PSE from gals from the Perimeter for no tip expected or given, and there are plenty of reports here of 'dancers' and 'spotlight girls' from places like Agasaya and Dollhouse charging three times as much, expecting a tip, but doing a runner, and having attitudes. (Note, I am not saying they all do, but merely pointing out that in this business, the amount paid is incidental to what you get).

So the first question I would ask, is why on earth any punter would pay more for service when report after report says that you don't necessarily get a better service for doing so. Marriage being a case in point. LOL!

Next point is that I have observed this in other areas. In Prague, you used to be able to get ladies in Wenceslas Sq for very reasonable prices. Punters came in and overpaid. Now you those prices at Wenceslas Square are through the roof, and the service is crap. HOWEVER, if you know where to go, you can get better service for half that. If you speak some Czech, you can get it for a third of that, and if you are Czech, for even less again.

My point being that if you overpay, then the providers will just increase the price you pay and give you exactly the same service as they give others for much much less.

In the Angeles City situation, it seems that what has developed is a several tier approach to prices. Koreans and Japanese pay the highest, Americans on the next tier, and non tipping cultures like Aussies pay lower, and no doubt Pinoys pay even less in clubs which don't let the rest of us in. (And I have some information from some of the ladies I have seen that often the Pinoys demand and get a better service than offered to the rest).

So the second question is why on earth would a punter like to contribute to a situation where he and his countrymen are paying multiples of what others are paying?

In addition to Mister Max below, I had a PM from someone else also interested in where to play tennis in AC.

(I) Del Rosario

I normally play here. If you're going along McArthur Hwy from Fields, it's to the right of the bridge to Angeles City, just past Robinsons Mall. Locals know that location from the swimming pool just near the courts.

Very easy to get to from Fields by jeepney or trike.

The courts aren't great (en tout cas/clay), but quite playable and the people there are very friendly. There's a bit of traffic noise from the bridge, but not too bad.

You can't book a court, which is a bit frustrating for someone used to the well organised system in Australia. The trick is to play in the morning or get there by about 3pm to avoid the busy period.

The cost is something like 300 pesos for ball boy, court and coach/playing partner (sorry I can't remember the exact price as normally I give the coach and ballboy a tip). That's about 1/8 the price of a coach in Australia!

I bring my own balls as the ones there are pretty bad. There used to be a good little sports shop in Robinsons next to the courts, but that's now closed so you have to buy them somewhere else (e. G. SM Mall). Tennis balls are pretty cheap in the Philippines.

The guy I normally play is Jun, but Robert and Billy are also good to play with.

There are a couple of tennis courts on Clark near CDC on the parade grounds close to the Red Crab restaurant. I do not know the requirements to use the courts.

Rubberyman is perfectly right, AC is a buyers market! Hence I am wondering why anybody should get upset with the Koreans as long as all of us get exactly the same service for 1,350 pesos? Or does anybody seriously believe that the girls give them a better bbbj (etc) than to Joe the plumber? I would, however, doubt it! :)

I do neither care that Koreans buy 20 or more drinks for their bargirls, nor if they tip for LT with 2,000 pesos. Nobody forces us to do the same, or am I wrong?

In 2005 on my first visit to the Philippines, I did play at the El Rancho Tennis Courts with Poker. It was delightful, but out of the way. But ever since then, I have been returning to AC and not having the opportunity to play tennis again. If given a chance, I would like to play tennis whenever I revisit AC. Perhaps this will be the start.

I understand your point I myself do not like to pay more than necessary. Remember the girls are out for themselves if can they get more money from a Korean or Japanese then it is there choice whether or not they want to pursue this. If your positions were reversed wouldn't you do the same?

As much as it annoys some of us, from memory, the issue is not about what punters are willing to pay, but the creation of "Korean only" establishments outside Korea, that are designed to exclude ("or discourage") everyone but Koreans. This smacks of apartheid.

All this talk about Koreans throwing their money around, we are forgeting one thing here. There are many girls in AC and not all of them like Koreans, some girls like black guys others do not. Other girls might like American but hate German guys.

There is someone for everyone who wishes to visit AC. So what if many of the pretty girls go for the money, their will always be girls who will go for me and not what she thinks I might tip her in the morning.

Girls have ideas maybe from good or bad experiences with men from different countries and this will have a bearing on if she will like you or not.

Once, in a stupid mood, I got a bit tired of the question the bar girl always asks: "where are you from".

I told her I was from America and then, for fun, a bit later I asked her what she thinks of Australian guys. She told me they were kuripot/cheap charlies and didn't like them. :)

When I tell girls I'm from Australia, they will always tell me how much they like Australians! :)

I know I contributed a lot to the negative comments about the Koreans. I appologize if this offended anyone, or gave anybody a bad impression of these guys that obviously have more money to burn (or more debt) than I do.

I agree with the guys here, that there are plenty of sexy young Filipinas to go around. Some will run to the guys that are willing to spend massive amounts of money. In fact, I expect that most of the girls would rather do that, than to waste their time with a kuripot, cheap charlie like myself. I do feel that the prices, or expectations for more money, will increase as the bar owners and the girls get wind of how much these guys are willing to spend. But hey, inflations affects everything. :(

As one of the initial contributors to this specific debate, I think that we have beat the dead horse enough. regardless of what any of us on this board think, guys are going to spend as much as they feel they need to spend in order to have the best time they can, regardless of what country they are from. I think we should let this topic die out, and return to discussing the LBFM's that are interested in pleasing those of us from other parts of the world. Just my opinion.
