Coming to terms with the modern world
First I recommend that you ditch all the Chicken Little esque hyperbole and hysteria. Then "have a nervous breakdown, get therapy and come to terms with the modern world. ".
Thanks Paulie, you state your position so succinctly. I do not know you, but I know exactly where you are coming from. But if your cause is so fait accompli, then why do you get so out of joint when someone disagrees with it?
Pot Calling the Kettle Black
Thanks Paulie, you state your position so succinctly. I do not know you, but I know exactly where you are coming from. But if your cause is so fait accompli, then why do you get so out of joint when someone disagrees with it?
The post below that I responded to sounded like a man bent very out of joint. LOL.
We saw the ends justify the means crowd at the Capital January 6th. Virtually all conservatives are socialists as they enjoy their Medicare, Social Security, Pell Grants, students loans, etc. Etc. Red baiting is an archaic tactic, not 21st see so time to move on. We see radicalism and bigotry in people undermining our democracy alleging mass voter fraud / stolen election lies while targeting blacks and browns in the process. Your crowd is the best advertisement of all for a reckoning on race. And ethnocentric myths have in many cases made it into our cultures. Yes we will work to correct them, as well as counter dumb shit kickers who stick up for the Confederacy. That involves correcting historical errors, not rewriting history. The Supreme Court? Well conservatives have lost seven of the last eight popular votes yet hold six of the nine justices. That doesn't well represent our people, and there's nothing in the Constitution that prohibits expanding the court. It's on the table but with an uncertain future.
"Politicize the military?" LOL That's a timeless, worldwide issue, but in recent times the greater concerns have involved Trump. Nonetheless if you don't want Democrats in power then you need to do better in the elections.

Let's see what does that leave us? Repeal the first and second amendments? LOL No you can't stockpile machines guns. Yes we are going to have background checks and weed out the violent and mentally ill. No you don't have a Constitutional right to post incendiary messages calling for violence on private social media platforms. The same goes for Covid denialism, anti-vaxxer nonsense, and kooky stolen election conspiracy theories. You can though start your own blog or website, though the violence part, gallows on the Capital steps and the like are always a tough sell. The filibuster? Looks like you need to do a better job of convincing the people of your talking points so you don't have to stonewall. Stonewalling is for losers. Don't be a loser. Rather than crying about these immigrants you need to win them over. It's not our fault you lost the WH, Congress, and the Senate inside of four years. And we will continue to oppose stolen election lies and voter suppression efforts as they undermine our democracy.
So Chicken Little did I leave anything out? That took all of twenty minutes. It's easy for you to type out a list of half-truths, fake spins, and complete falsehoods via simplistic talking points, even from your phone bored sitting on a barstool. A real discussion is another matter, and there's been some of that on this thread over the last six months. In fact all of your claims have been refuted multiple times in the past by me and others, which proves another point I've made. That the Trumpian crowd, like Trump himself is famous for ignoring rebuttals while repeating the same fallacies ad nauseam. Your is just another installment of that. C'est La Vie.

And of course you are the one panicking because you keep losing, at the polls, in the courts, in the court of public opinion, everywhere. We are winning and at the helm. It's been fun.
Everything Biden and the radicals are doing is with purpose and designed to destroy the country. "The goal is to take over America and institute one party socialism over the entire country. The ends justify the means, therefor it is OK to:
Indoctrinate children in grade school with critical race theory.
Cancel the culture, rewrite history, control the media and what people can think.
Open the border, let millions in, and give them welfare checks. Nationalize voting rules. Legalize vote harvesting with no voter ID laws so insure the desired outcome.
Politicize the police and military. Place them under control of the Democratic Party.
Get rid of the 1st and 2nd amendment to the constitution. No more freedom of speech, no more right to defend oneself.
Raise taxes, Print money, Take over the economy. The real goal..
Full employment 6% unemployment
Yes, we all know the unemployment rate's downward trajectory due entirely to Obama-Biden / Dem economic stewardship continued into the first 2-3 years of Trump's so-called presidency despite or perhaps thanks to Trump doing very little other than vacationing and playing more golf (at his failing resorts) than any other so-called potus in history.
Again, I must thank you for providing a link that proves my position correct and yours wrong. You see what happened in 2014-2015 as shown in your link? Those were the years Obama-Biden reduced the unemployment rate to below 6%, which in this era is considered "Full Employment" by the Fed and other agencies that adjust policy based on such things.
Once a labor force has reached "Full Employment" and, as it did in this case, continues to improve over the next 2-3 years, an uptick or downtick of a percent or two is relatively insignificant and is often just the result of employed people changing jobs or lifestyles.
Trump was not the so-called president when that happened in 2014-2015. Neither was Mitt Romney, who campaigned in 2012 on his favorite Republican policies and brilliance getting us to 6% unemployment post-The Great Bush Recession in 4 years. Obama-Biden did that in 2 years.
Yes I know that when Obama was president democrats thought 6% unemployment was full employment but Trump lowered it to 3. 5% and he didn't consider it full employment. You just hold Obama to a lower standard than Trump. Trump could do more for the American people while playing golf than Biden will ever do on the job in a year. Just a fact. I can't believe you condone Obama and Biden failures but you criticize all Trump success. I guess you much like Biden prefer to see America fail like they are doing in the first 4 months of Biden. Why are democrats anti America?
