Francisco Mina intersects with Altamirano two blocks after that left/south turn is made. Then its just a matter of looking for the address. This will be cool to have another place to hit. That walk to pink lady is long for just one spot.

A few evenings ago about 8:45 P.M., I got stopped by two of Juarez's finest while walking back to EP on calle Francisco Villa. It was a man and woman cop..they asked various times about drug use..and especially drinking cervezas, of which I had had none. They asked where I had been..and where I was going. They searched everything, even my hat, but found nothing. My bigger bills, about 500 pesos worth, were inside the area where pictures, cards, etc., go in the wallet.

The lady cop asked why I was "not walking straight" (which I was), and I simply said I had a bad back. (She was not expecting that answer)
They let me go, did not steal anything. I can defend myself in Spanish, which helps, but should have walked down Av. Juarez, instead of a street where there is not much foot traffic.

We gotta watch 'em, guys.

They need to pick on someone so they can feel somewhat purposeful in their jobs.

Stash your cash, never make eye contact and behave yourselves. Unwanted attention is what triggers most cop robberies.

As that area between villa and juarez avenue is ground zero for drugs and prostitution. Yes prostitution is "legal" or somewhat tolerated in mexico but the two activities tend to occurr together.

My probablem has never been the cops. Yes I've been frisked. Uncomfortably so but then sent on my way. What scares me is knowing I want to go to pink lady and to try to find the new place but. Getting stood up against a wall and shot. Just to much of a risk?

[/quote]This place is located where Juaritos Bar used to be, right next to El Nuevo Vaquero. Juarito's & El Vaquero are ficha dance places where a lot of the girls from other bars in the plaza end up later in the evenings.

Just head up Juarez Av across V. Guerrero and go through the plaza where all the stores and bars are located to Mina its on the southside, cross street is noche triste.

I was there about 5 weeks ago and I wasn't impressed. One gordita dancing on stage with a few other girls sitting down with a few customers.

Not many customers for a Saturday night or goodlooking girls, maybe they've improved the quality of their dancers.

It is really a gamble just now just going over for a drink. Even with all the cops, federales and army patrolling around the area 2 shitheads managed to walk into Alice and Charley's and kill the dj.

On Saturday night the federales were stopping cars on Martinez Ave and searching cars for drugs and weapons.

It is certainly a gamble in the downtown area, especially after dark, wondering if we are going to be frisked by Juarez's finest. But like Mugroso says, "stash your cash, don't make eye contact, and behave yourselves," is good advice..and that's what I always try to do. Never give them a reason to make the situation worse, and don't act nervous. I have been frisked on various occasions, and never "robbed" of over 100 pesos at any time, and not robbed on the majority of occasions.

Looking in El Paso for our hobby is a risk as well, as one is always wondering if it is LE. Again, if it is, the penalty could be a U.S. arrest, your name and picture in the newspaper and internet for all to see, and this can also mean a loss of employment. More than one teacher..and school administrator..have lost job tenure for this mistake.

So, the risk in Juarez vs. the risk in El Paso? Kind of like a multiple choice quiz..take your pick. Either place, the word is extreme caution.

My friend and I took two of the girls to a hotel the other night, can't remeber the hotel name, you pull the car in the garage and then go upstairs. (hotel cost=$39. 00us)Once upstairs we started in my buddy's room, champaign flowing, then off to seperate rooms, his girls name was Alexandra, and mine was Veronica(see previous Halloween pic's). Just to let you guys know, today I called for the services of the girls at [url]www.juarexxx.com[/url], and I was veeeeeeery dissapointed. First they made me wait 2 hours at the hotel room, when I called to ask if the ladies were coing to arrive or not they always said that they were on their way, 10 minutes tops, ant these 10 minutes became 2 hours. Initially when I called I asked for a specific girl, by name (grisel), and when they arrived, out came 3 horrific girls, but no Grisel. I was very upset, specially because they told me that part of the delay was that they were picking up Grisel from her home, but assured me that she was on her way.

yeah I don't hit Genesis too much anymore b/c the manager (the big, cold lady who speaks like she's American) there pressures my ATF to hurry.
