Rio de Janeiro Reports

The main things are.

1. Learn as much portoguese as possible before coming to Brazil.

2. Shorter term trips less than 7 days are going to be difficult because the girls are going to gringo you, ie, jack up the prices. Ideally at least 3 weeks, better yet 3 months is the right length for a trip.

3. We' re also going into not just the high season with carnvival and all that trash, but also G20, so the natives are getting cocky, thinking the BRICs are going to finally not just be the developing world. I recall this one chick kept opening up chips and snacks I Had. But like I thought as a joke eating one and then opening another etc. I was hanging out and she was going to town.

When she left she drank the entire 6 pack of skol, all the chips, chocolate, 2 cans of guana and left me with just empty bags! They HOUSE food and somehow are still not fat.

I am thinking of staying in either Ibis Copacabana Posto 2 or Copacabana Mar Hotel and wondering if either of these is guest-friendly. Or are there any other hotels nearby that are guest friendly? I did the RTFF but could not find any definitive information.

It's absolutely amazing to see how much food the customers manage to fill up on a plate and it's unbelievable to see how some thin women manage to empty their huge plates. It can be quite disgusting to see how the customers overindulge.
