Ive walked or driven past it several times but the reason I never went is that it looked like a Korean only shop. I've been in plenty of Korean bars in Angeles but the ones on WS seem a little more open to foreigners. But I will check it out next time I'm in town as I'm curious.

They have this event weekly at Body Shop where girls from other bars show up and do some kind of show. It was kind of poppin for that event although I didn't stay long. Have you met the owner? He's an Australian fella. Nice guy, but if his teeth are any representation of the health of the bar, it will be rotted, dead, and destroyed within a few months.

Masquerade, Gecko's, Body Shop, and one other bar. The event rotates to each bar one Monday each month. Starts at 6 pm. It's a crackin' good time, with girls from the various bars putting on nawty shows on stage for about 2 hours. Eating the banana, faux lesbianism, taped t*tties, etc. You will need to arrive by 5:45 pm to get a seat. Clientele is almost completely gringo geezers who live there. Your drink prices are low, and I think the LD's are reduced also during the show. If you walked into BS on the once-a-month Monday when the show is ongoing, you'd think that BS was the toast of AC. The other 29 nights a month, not so much. I will PM you.

I presume the owner is trying to keep it alive until he can find a buyer. I have barfined there in the past and in fact one of my ATFs is from there but she quit and works in another bar now.

I think the BS salary is 250 p and barfine 3 k of which the girl gets about 1200. My friend now works in another bar in WS where the salary is 500 p and the barfine is 5 k of which she gets 2500. So she basically doubled her salary and commission by moving. In fact she more than doubled her income because the other bar has many more guests than BS. In the current scenario BS is in terminal decline because girls quitting means fewer guests and vice versa.

The street its on is a little dead and there are two closed bars there (I think Shobu and Crystal Palace) but there is one new bar called Meikos just down the street which seems to be doing ok. Time will tell if it can survive though.

Meikos is actually a very cool spot. I really hope it succeeds. Daytime upstairs the pool vibe is great. Everyone who plays during the day is chill and fun and I really enjoyed meeting them and hanging. If you follow Chubs DubC on youtube you'll see a lot of what goes on there. Also there are a couple of sexy lady shark pool players (Rozelle and Doris) who are worth the price of admission just to watch them bend over when they shoot. I flirted heavily with them and did some sexy Mega Dance dancing with them but they are both taken so I didn't push my luck. The barfinable talent downstairs at night wasn't stellar but hopefully it improves.

Whats been happening on the town during the 1st month of 2024,well in truth not much.

Multiple bar girls left angeles city for the Christmas new year period to return back to their home province to see family, children, many, many of the better looking, slimmer, younger girls have not returned at all, many bars, even the top bars are very short of girls, maybe the girls have found better avenues of earning money online to desperados the world over who are willing to sponsor these girls, mostly before even meeting, what ever the reason its fair to say every bar owner is crying out for staff, especially reasonably young, good looking staff.

Walking street continues to have major roadworks, they have dug up most of the street to lay down new flood drains, it makes walking at night quite tricky, the holes are quite deep and stretch for some distances, they have put narrow planks of wood over the holes in some parts to allow access to the bar entrances, quite dangerous crossing to the bars for those that have had a few too many beers or for girls in high heels.

The town remains very quiet for western tourists, greatly outnumbered by asian visitors, mainly koreans, the few western oriented walking street bars like geckos bar, lollipop bar seem to have a few mainly older expats in early evening, girls here tend to be lower quality with older and many chubbies / fatties around.

Even xs bar which I and many others have reported before Christmas 2023 was the best angeles bar and that had the highest concentration of reasonably slim ok looking girls is looking mighty low on girl numbers, its still true that in xs bar one is more likely to find the better looking girls just a lot less of them around as of 2024.

What has not changed in angeles city as of this new year is the amount of better looking girls that just will not barfine with anyone, they make their money hustling drinks only, the ok looking girls that do actually barfine only barfine with Asians, its a massive problem if one is a westerner and has higher standards in girls.

Ladyboy freelancer standing on the corners near walking street seem to grow in number with every bar hop to the area, thank goodness I have not seen any working in the bars but who knows with the severe shortage of girls in the bars maybe its not too far away.

This dude claims that CNB Cafe next to Garfields is a BJ bar. Can anybody confirm this? I might give it a go.
