Went out Thursday night to check out some clubs. Stopped by La Confratia Club (the old Whiskeria 65) on 74 Rua the Quintanda in Centro about 9:30 PM. Asked about entrance fee. Doorman said it was 30 Real, consumable. Asked if I could take a look inside at no charge. He said yes, so went upstairs to take a look. Pretty lively, twenty or so women, equal number of customers. Went down to the doorman to get my drink ticket and went back up. Beers are 10-15 Real. Ordered a strawberry caipirinha for 25 Real. Very nice drink. Of the 20 or so women, I would do 4 of them if they were at a prive in the afternoon. One-hour session is 270 Real for a regular room. About 10 PM the Michael Jackson impersonator did his Michael Jackson shtick to a couple of songs. Been doing this since the Whiskeria 65 days, although now he has somewhat of a paunch. Hung around till about 10:30 and then went to Club 21 on 21 Rua Buenos Aires on the recommendation of a local I spoke to at La Confraria, saying it was the owner's birthday. Went there but it was packed and very noisy, so didn't go in. Did see that a one-hur session there was 295 Real.
Then went to check out Club 502 on 65 Rua do Alfandega. On the way there passed by 4 x4. Saw a sign that said they were open on Saturdays from 5 PM to 2 AM. Asked the doorman how long they had been open on Saturdays. Was told 2 months. Entrance fee 50 Real.
Asked doorman how 502 much entrance fee and how many ladies working. He said 10 Real and 22 ladies, so went up. Dead. Only 14 women, none of them attractive to me. Maybe 5 customers. Walked around for a few minutes, paid the 10 Real and left. Not recommended.
I will be in town for a short visit and would like to check out any other casas (I guess they are called Prives in Brazil). Not too keen on spa environment, I prefer safe and neat casa. I am familiar with the one on 4th floor at 583 ave nossa.
What are some other good ones in copacabana area with decent number of girls?
Secondly is the quality at MABs amateur (relatively) or are they mostly hardcore. Any idea what short time rates would be like?
Please share some recommendations Gmen.
I believe the site of elliterio is a good place to start. Most girls on this site work out of various prives or clinicas. Try to contact via whattsapp for pictures of the girls and their availabilities. I personally experienced a couple places with unavailable girls who were advertised, but the majority went very well.

Robbed on a bus in Rio
Decided to take the bus from Copacbana to Centro tonight around 5:30 PM to see the bay along the route. In Botafogo a dozen or so black teenagers got on the bus through the exit door so they didn't have to pay the fare, packing the back of the bus, so you would have to go through the pack to exit. One of them sat next to me at the back of the bus and would look at my phone, which was secured by a cord to my belt, occasionally. Passenger (all black) got off at a few stops without issue. When I (the only white person in the back of the bus) went to the exit one guy tried to grab my phone, another guy my shoulder bag, another my shirt pocket, and another guy hitting me on the head when I resisted. Fortunately he couldn't take it because of the cord and I was able to get off the bus with my phone and my bag, although I lost the passport photo, CPF, pen, and 200 Real that were in the shirt pocket. Never thought that I would be assaulted and robbed on a public bus. Will not be taking a public bus again. You may want to do the same. You may also want to buy a cell phone cord.
That's the same thing that one might encounter in El Centro in Medellin. I was assaulted like that recently while walking. I already knew what would happen. I was following my date to dinner. She just turned around to grab me while I was assaulted. They let me go once they saw I knew the girl. LOL. Then we enjoyed a romantic dinner in front of the Verracruz church and we discussed poverty, drugs and safety. hehehe. During dinner she gave all her money to a beggar while I did nothing
I guess it probably has to do that it is weekend in Rio. I have zipped and double layer pockets and it is not as easy to rob

It was soon after some bandits hijacked a bus and killed a female passenger during the standoff with the cops (who executed the culprit right after he surrendered). She told me she never takes a bus in Rio, and I remember making fun of her as a pampered Zona Sul carioca who's scared to commute in her own city. Must say I've rarely taken buses in Rio, since I prefer Metro or Uber anyway, but I shouldn't have made fun of Maria back then.
Glad you've made it out unscathed. 200 reais is really nothing, considering.

And I never have anything of value showing. If I have a bag, then I make sure it's a short walk to get into my taxi or Uber. I will take longer walks, including at night, but then I typically won't have a bag or anything of a lot of value on me. I wear pants and shorts with pockets on them where nothing can be easily lifted. And of course, it helps that I can easily pass for being Brazilian too (until I speak). I have not had anything really bad happen to me in all of my many visits rolling how I do. Knock on wood!

Which lines may sometimes change. So there are reasons to be careful on certain bus lines; unfortunately I have no idea which ones. Good to hear that you escaped unhurt. It may be dangerous to resist if they have knives.

At least lucky not to be on this bus on Avenida Brasil 11 days ago:

The thing is that botafogo is generally a safe neighborhood. Botafogo is the home of the brazilian west point (urca), several consulates, and a whole list of high soft power cultural institutions.
What could also be contributing is stochastic violence, ie, american election bias against certain candidate profile, a rising wave of global violence into other regions (when 7 Oct. Happened last year, there was a wave in Brazil, including 35 buses that were burned in east rio de janeiro, out near campo grande).
I remember I was fucking that 18 year old 4 x4 girl pernoite bare (oh, remembering), belladonna. That was when ukraine was heating up. We had gone to Christmas with her fam out in sepetiba, which is further out than even guaratiba, poor but happy family. She brings up a meme on her phone with a high speed fighter jet bombing a favela, and the headline is something to the effect that war is the rich waging war on the poor.
Expect that meta trend to get worse.
Selah.

First Timer in Rio
First off, thanks for the info that many of you have provided to me / us.
I was in Rio for a few days at an event. Stayed at the Sheraton, just past Leblon. Hotel was nice, but more family oriented (bar closes at 11 etc.). You could bring someone up, but you were supposed to register them. First night I actually met a very hot local girl at the hotel and we ended up in the room. Very good time.
I went to Casablanca twice. It is a fairly small club. I live in Miami / Fort Lauderdale area, so we are blessed with some pretty amazing strip clubs with many beautiful Latina's, so my opinions on talent levels are a bit skewed.
First was on Thursday night and we got there shortly after 11. To be honest, I didn't think the talent level was too great. A few 8-9's, but a lot of 5-6's. We stayed for a bit, had some drinks and talked to several ladies. One talked my friend into buying her a champagne for 400 local, which is about $70. (I ordered room service for a full bottle at the hotel and it was only about $35 plus tip) It was basically a split, maybe two glasses in it. We hung out for a bit, didn't see anything that either of us were too excited about so we just went back to hotel.
Second time was a Friday night, and what a difference. So many very attractive ladies lined up as you come in. I was like a kid in a candy store, not sure which one to take. After hanging out there, drinking and checking out the selection, one really caught my eye. Long straight black hair, very nice tan body and a smile that was to die for. Super nice person and gorgeous. Paid an exit fee for her and brought her back. We (at least me) had a fantastic time. Almost hated for her to leave.
The natural scenic beauty of Rio is spectacular. I was a bit surprised that there weren't more bars / restaurants along Copacabana. Mostly beach bars on the edge of sand (tents or close to it). The poverty is pretty obvious. I will say, I did not feel unsafe. Now, I have traveled a lot of places and know how to avoid problems (no jewelry, flashy clothes, etc). We ate at a couple fantastic restaurants and overall enjoyed the trip.
IMHO, I would go to Colombia any day before going back here. Much closer to Miami, talent level is great and I speak enough Spanish to get by. Medellíand would be tops on my list.
Anyway, just wanted to share to pay it forward.

Rio Non-Pros Hookups
Dear Members,
Planning to visit Rio De Janeiro soon next year. Since I received good response from latin girls, I want to try my luck for non-pros.
At least what I have found out that Brazilian girls are quite liberal in sex. If anyone can shed some light based on their experiences picking non-pros, then it will help me get a heads-up.
If anyone can also suggest me good clubs or places to pick up non-pros in Rio, then your inputs will be highly appreciated. Any places to pick up milfs is also on my radar.
My premium is deactivated so may bot able to read dm.
Looking forward for some positive responses.
Thanks!
Jimmy Boy is one of our veteran mongers. If you have a chance to link up with him in centro RJ or Rio, you should both to get his wisdom and to lend some security in numbers, as he like many of us has been assaulted. Great navigator, as he is a technology whiz too.
.
I don't remember reading about the time you were assaulted, if you could tell us what happened it could be helpful.

Unfortunately, my report turned out to be foreshadowing of another assault which Jimmyboy recently reported.

Nobody can tell you to just go down to 123 4th Street and there are tons of normal chicks just ready to fuck. Do you speak Portuguese?
I would not expect to land and meet some chick and start fucking just because. And if you know anything about Latino culture, they do not go out alone. So if you think you are just going to go out somewhere and break into the middle of a group that is doing their thing by saying Hello, I like you, then you better go back to step 1 of how to meet chicks.

Do you speak Portuguese? Are you reasonably good-looking? If yes and yes, you'll likely be able to connect with cariocas, although it will still take a couple dates to bed them.
You can try the beach during the day and, if you have some moves, Lapa jazz clubs in Centro in the evenings. Many years ago I managed to hook up with a girl on the beach even with my shitty Portuguese, but: a) she was visiting from SP, b) had a little kid, and c) was there with her sister (with her own kid). That meant additional expenses even if you don't mind kids, and TBH it was more work than it was worth. Some folks here advocate getting numbers from sales girls at malls.
Without Portuguese, it's an uphill battle.
