Don't think for a minute that a poor family would not sell a half white girl to a high end KTV to service Koreans and wealthy Filipinos who prize those features in their prostitutes. Think carefully about those supposed impregnation with no strings attached offers.

Yes, it is true that people with means can have young girlfriends. But the spanish girls are high maintenance in the sense you have to be really rich in order to keep young girlfriends. I am not talking about working girls.

Not the same as in Phi. I have met and seen many old guys having girlfriends. These guys seemingly do not have much money by the way they look or dress. But Phi does not draw super rich people to re-locate there.

In spanish countries many rich people do re-locate.

In Phi as I have evidenced in the provinces it is perfectly normal to walk aeround with young, cute girls irrespective of your age. I have gone and visited my girlfriend's families few times in the provinces and apart from curiosity from the neighbours the family itself seem to be at ease. Although I supported the girls through education, I was not spending lot of money. I am sure in Latin american countries it will cost lot more to keep a young girl.

IMHO Phi poor girls are quite happy to be taken care of however small way and happy to be with older men. It is not just in the bedroom. They do show open affection in public. In other words they just want to have a decent life away from their dirt poor parents. You should go and see some of the houses they live in. They hardly have anything.

One family had only two plates. Me and the girl were served chicken and rice first (I paid for it ). During that time one of girl's uncle dropped by with his wife. Although they sat with us they were not served. After we finished eating the same two plates were washed and they were served dinner. Obviously the girl wanted to get away from this kind of poverty. Couple of her friends were married to really old men from australia who visit three months of the year. One picture I saw was 20 year old girl with 70 year old man. My girl said they are married.

Phi is lot poorer compared to Latin american countries. I doubt if a 20 year old spanish country girl will marry a 70 year old man!

Many of the guys who come here for brief periods have not, I suspect, witnessed first hand the crushing poverty within which many of the ladies they meet were raised. Most recent estimates that I've read estimate the percentage of families living below the UN poverty standard of $2 a day, at 40-50 % of the total population. Almost any foreigner who can afford to come here, no matter how modest his means if judged by Western standards, is going to be considered "rich" by young women raised in the milieu of rural poverty here.

The ability to given a woman a better life than the one lived by her family is a critical component of the "love" a younger woman may feel for a much older man.

According to a recent, comprehensive econonomic analysis published recently by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) , the Philippines is the only country in ASEAN that not only hasn't reduced poverty over the past decade, but has actually managed-through it's ineptitude and runaway population growth-to increase it. So it's no wonder that the country produces literally millions of women desperate to escape the bare subsistence existence in which they were raised and from which they have scant possiblity of escaping through education and / or productive employment.

This does not, I would argue, automatically consign young women who seek "rich" foreigners to the category of gold digger. It merely acknowledges that the ability to provide a better life is a component of a more practical definition of love than operates in the West.

The one who propositioned me was both very young and very poor. And her motivation was silly (if perhaps patently Filipino) : She had dreamed repeatedly that she gave birth to a FilAm child who became a television star.

She also believed in ghosts. And that a family of gnomes lived in a a tree near her house. It would have been funny, if I didn't think she was serious about all these things.

Did she have other, darker motives concerning getting pregnant by a Kano? Quite possibly. But it's impossible to know.

From the poor end its easy to assume she is looking for dollars or a way out of her country (that's usually right). But you can't make that assumption in every case on the poor end. [/QUOTE]Filipinas and women in general often talk a lot of bullshit but go in the totally opposite direction when reality hits. I know of guys who get the same offers from American women. Some of them took the offer and today they're paying child support for what was supposed to be a 'free' sexy baby. I would like to hear if anyone took up one of these Filipinas on the offer to knock them up and never got any requests for assistance or legal recognition after the child was born. If this is widespread we should be seeing a lot more Filipino-American children in the local population but for some reason most of these girls have children fathered by their own kind. I know of one American on ISG who has fathered several children from various local women but from his posts I get the impression that he is constantly bombarded with cash requests and other hassles from the mothers of the children.

For this the ' guilty ' party must file the papers. I believe it is an uphill battle for those good souls who want their children to go to other countries.

If only it was simple embassies all over the world in poor countries will be inundated by women claiming their child is fathered by other country men.

One of my GF told me her cousin had a Australian father but the father although did send some money for a while refused to sponsor for immigration.

Maybe those with experience in that field can shed more light about out of wedlock child situation.

Sammon, I don't know what country you are from but in the USA many of the individual states have reciprocal agreements with foreign countries, states or provinces that contemplate the foreign citizen obtaining child support from the American non-custodial parent. Also, sometime around 2008, the USA signed off on the International Child Support Treaty at the Hague. I don't know if the treaty has been ratified yet but the US Department of Health and Human Services is pushing it hard. If it has not yet been adopted, it surely will be. To the best of my knowledge there are some amendments that are in negotiation. So right now it appears to be a state by state matter but it will soon be a uniform measure that the states will be compelled to comply with by the federal government.

Fortunately I did not learn this the hard way.

If you don't sign off on the baby acknowledging it is yours then she can't do shit. If you are stupid enough to take up the offer then don't give her your info and protect yourself by taking her to short time hotel and signing on as santa or something like that. I personally think its a stupid thing to do unless you have vasectomy and know nothing will come of it.
