In Canada BTW that would cost you ten times as much. So after one long time session in Bangkok one has already saved almost 2000 dollars relative to Western pricing, which more than covers the cost of airfare & two weeks in a hotel. After that it's all gravy & like getting company and sex almost free compared to back home.

Also sometimes things are priced lower than their real value or what they should be, such as the 37 USD. When they are undervalued like that in time the market often brings about a "price correction" to what it should be. For example it's been at least 7 years since NEP area street walker prices have generally remained at 1000 baht ST. This is a bargain and well overdue for a cost adjustment. For much the same product at a NEP gogo it is 250 to 300 percent more.

Expats continually complaining about LOS are ignoring how good they have it. They "can't see the forest for the trees". It's an illness, but I think it has a cure. Move back in with "Uncle Sam".

Anyways, I stopped in Suzan Wong's for maybe the 5th time this year. Not once have I said to myself that girl is above average looking. Is it me or what? You might want to go and look at the Christmas mural on one wall-quite well done.

I've perused the boards and you see many guys paying $150-$200 for very average looking gals. You will likely come home with some money.

Bring the newer and pristine $50 and $100 USD bills as they get the best exchange rate.

Only change enough money (say $20) at the airport to get you to your destination as the exchange rate there sucks.

Only change enough money to get you through the next day or two. No need to change it all right away.

Have a backup plan should the cash run out like an ATM or credit card.

Google "Bell Travel" for an inexpensive and professional travel option from Bangkok to Pattaya and from Pattaya to BKK airport.

Disagree on looks though. In general I find the gals in BKK to be better looking than they were 15 years ago, mostly due to better fashion sense etc. But I find fewer lookers in the P4 P scene.

So called models in a Soapy shop are young, reasonable bodies, but plain or highly altered plastic faces. This is why my MP visits have dropped off. In bars, the top 5 percent are as good looking as they ever were, but significantly more expensive. Performance hit and miss.

So overall we could say there is decline one way or another. The decline is circumvented by repeating a collection of those far above the average standard, providing that not trying to get bottom dollar prices.
