Last year Thailand had more US citizens visiting than ever before. Of course Thailand receives huge numbers of visitors from many nations all over the world, not only multitudes of Americans, as it is one of the top PFP destinations in the universe.

As to vacation time, Americans are not up there with Europeans, but still many get plenty of time to make it worthwhile to travel to LOS:

However she seems satiated by sex for too long. I still have high sexual desire for her after several years but simply don't get enough. My 2nd P4 P Gik has high sex desire, but obviously may get bored with me in time. She already got bored with her main BF and several other suitors more handsome than me no doubt. She likes that I am so easy going so she has no pressure and can do as she likes. I think most guys want too much control over her or don't fuck how she likes I guess. She has to lie or be deceptive to some guys but I simply make that unnecessary. She likes me to be totally honest with her too. LOL.

This desire of girls to have a guy that never lies mystifies me, but I am sort of trying it out with one girl. It may indeed strengthen a relationship. We have started to spend some time together outside a normal P4 P booking, so the relationship is starting to get a bit ambiguous and she doesn't expect me to pay for everything.

[/QUOTE]Here's a link to a very annoying site, full of ads and popups. But it's fairly recent, like 2012. Unless things have changed radically in the last two years, I think it's pretty close to accurate. Being American, this seems to square with reality.

Note that Thailand is not in the top 10 destinations for Americans. Jamaica, Mexico and the DR are. I admit Puerto Rico shouldn't be there because you don't need a passport to go there, if you're an American.

The point is that maybe a majority of American sex tourists go to Thailand, as opposed to other places, but I seriously doubt it. They're a small subset of the overall number of tourists. There are loads of pretty girls in Mexico, Colombia, CR, DR, Nicaragua, etc. I've certainly met my share. And traveling to any of these places, especially from Florida, Texas, New York, is FAR easier than to anywhere in Asia. So, I am not convinced that your assertion that more Americans go to TH than any of the other places mentioned.

Don't forget Brazil, that's a big draw for those living down south or near a major airport hub where airfare is cheaper and obtaining a visa to visit Brazil is easier. Europe is also a 'semi close' destination for many on the east coast. Again, if your at the right airport you can be in Europe in under 9 hours, compare that with a 25 hour travel time to reach Thailand.

And the number has seemed to be decreasing for years; especially since '08. Truth be told most American mongers are very discreet about their activities.

I don't care where Americans like to go for sex tourism. Specially not in the Bangkok thread. The only thing relevant is how they behave when get to Bangkok, which is polite, etc. They have a good reputation in general even if sound of some americans speaking Thai with a drawl is very funny. Lower class English have a bad reputation and I cringe when I meet a loud foul mouthed group.

Possibly Americans are the most well liked Farangs in Thailand together with Danes and Norwegians. Other Farangs could try a bit of American politeness.

If people speak at all softly, I can't hear them. I do have problems at my work place with certain nationalities sometimes being too loud.

I get particularly annoyed when people speaking on the phone lift their level several decibels which seems totally unnecessary with little background noise situations.

I don't meet such Aussies in go gos, perhaps because I am not in Pattaya. At a Sports Pub in Bangkok I found the noisy Aussies stayed mostly outside. I stayed inside.

I learnt years ago that my fellow Australians are not the most considerate of travelers. Boorish, insensitive, impatient and dumb are some words that unfortunately can be accurately used to describe some (most) of us.

A couple of months ago I nearly choked on my beer when I read that the Chinese Government were conducting a public education campaign to educate their rapidly expanding middle class on how to conduct themselves when overseas. I thought to myself I hope they don't use Australians in Bali or Pattaya as an example.

I think we are quite polite folks. I would also say that most continental Europeans I have met are polite. Now, I am talking when folks are sober. When inebriated all this tends to fly out the window.

For a while my boss did not believe I had a Thai "wife" and daughter. LOL Had to show him some family pics. Ha Ha!
