Sine we only get monger's stories here, let me play devil's advocate for a moment.

A common problem with a lot of mongers I see, stems from the fact that the game in Sosua is totally freelance, and not organized and regimented as in Amsterdam, FKK, or BB, or even the escort services back home. No pimps, mamasans or strict time limits. More of a social interaction than most strict regulated PFP services.

This always set Sosua apart as a place where an old ugly fart could buy a fantasy GF experience with a young and beautiful chica or maybe even two. He might want to take them for breakfast, lunch, even dinner or the beach, to stroke his ego. And make no mistake about it, mongers have ego, in spades.

They brag about their "conquests" to each other, proudly post pictures, phone and text messages and even claim to get free pussy lined up in Sosua, and all over the island.

This is P4P, not "dating!.

When it turns out the hooker is only interested in your money, and not your fantastic personality, or oral skills, those fragile egos can get damaged. They don't understand that "Leche papa!" is a polite way of saying, "your time is up, buster! Especially for a low pre-negotiated price, you may have "successfully" beat her down to.

You are only paying for her time, whether that be fucking the crap out of her back in the room, or introducing her to your monger buddies over lunch, it's all the same business to her.

If you make contact with her a couple of times, and invite her to a restaurant the next day, it is only natural for her to expect a little business, while she sits and smiles and listens to your bullshit. (she's in business to feed her kids, you are on her time, remember?)

She may have gotten cleaned up for the meeting, borrowed money, dresses, taxi fare, even a phone and babysitting in expectation. If you don't pull the trigger, while you "owe" her nothing, she will not be too pleased! Lol

Sosua is a small place and the chicas have a support network. If you don't buy her a beer or a slice of pizza, for her trouble, you could even be "marked" as a cheap waste of time!

How many times in lets say 15 years has a chica asked to be paid up front, and the monger refused and the chica left? And no police was called? How many guys called a chicas bluff and had no further issues? How many guys got their security guards to help with a situation, and no cops were called? When I dismissed that chick, I wasnt at her mercy. Even other chicas I had in my apartment that I let go, no cops were called. Every incident with a chica does not result in her calling the cops. And besides, it's not really the chicas that guys are concerned about. It's the police.

It's no different than how men are dealt with by law enforcement in the US. How many guys end up being at the mercy of the damage a female can do to a man in the US? Men have always got kicked out of their homes off of a females complaint. When I had my accident with my car where a boy on a moto hit my car. My DR car insurance company paid off the boy and his mother 10000 pesos so that there would be no further action against the insurance company. I thought it was fucked up at 1st. But I learned the wisdom in it later. If the mother decided to take it further, a court case could be long and drawn out, and cost the insurance company much more than a 10000 peso pay out. I had to pay my own deductible to get my car fixed even though the boy was at fault and hit me.

So now we have a fucked up chica in our midst. And a man with an ego that can't get past how wrong she is and how she don't deserve to get paid for doing nothing. Takes a chance but unfortunately for him he hooked up with a chica that has an officer ready to come johnny on the spot to "resolve" the issue. In the end the guy is out $700 US instead of the 2000 pesos the chica was screaming about and making a scene.

If a guy isn't lucky enough to have a security guard or someone there that can make that chica back down and move on, then he may be fucked. It's up to him to test the waters. The bottom line, nobody has to assume there is ONLY one way a situation can and will be resolved. Everything depends on the situation in the moment. Can't go round blankly assuming a chica holds all the cards and there is only one way a situation will play out. The whole idea of discussing this topic was just to inform others to be careful of a potential.

Now, through poor reading comprehension, someones hyped imagination, if some folks can't get past a valid PSA and decides not to visit Sosua, then so be it. If I relied on words on a computer screen alone, I would have never visited all of the different places I've been and enjoyed.

Sorry, I have to say it if you ever criticize sosua. When people that have an opinion that is different and they do not like it people go crazy and just try to defend it. I remember the last time I said my opinion talent was way off in sosua. People lost their mind and then became keyboard tough warriors and told me write a trip report or shut the fuck up. Okay, believe that I will listen to that - kick rocks... Well here is my perspective and where it came from. When I first went to Santo Domingo 10 years ago and I went to a casa and that chick gave me more rules than my mother did growing up I said fuck that. I am going to control the ball as chicks do respect confidence and being macho. However, it helps if you learn Spanish and a lot experts on here who have been going for years cannot put a sentence together, but will be quick to criticize you.

I learned Spanish well. I dance Bachata, merengue, salsa well. When classico is over at night I hit the casino then drive back up into pop at kaviar around 3 am by myself then back into the barrio. Streets going to eat you alive late night if you do not know how to roll off the block. So, when I say I see changes I give you perspective from a motherfucker who can roll anywhere at anytime of the day or night and only going to keep it real. You do not like what I say who gives a fuck, but it is how I feel and instead of hurting your feeling take it like a man. I was there recently the chick talent with the quality of chicks hanging around is way off. Does not mean you cannot have a good time in sosua, but you need to step up your game and keep your eyes open. I had an incident awhile back with two chicas. I had dealt with one two nights in a row so the third night I leaving out of the club with her and her girlfriend is kinda standing off to the side. The girl I'm with ask me if I want both of them, (I usually don't do the threesome BS, and have only done one before) I reluctantly said ok for 1500 each.

In my limited Spanish I tell him that I f'the the first girl for like 2 minutes but gave her her money the second girl I never screwed so I wasn't going to pay her but 500. He actually said to me, I'm translating here, "you didn't have sex but you still are going to give her 500, why" I said for her time. He then asked the second one point blank did you have sexo, she said "No" he looks at me and says give her the 500 and you can leave. We were in his office all of about 5 minutes. He later explains to me that the tourista police are there for us and to be careful with some of the chicas.

NOW, In hindsight I probably won't do anymore threesomes but I DEFINITELY will just give the chick the 1000 pesos if I'm ever in that situation again. Besides all the other things that could have gone left, it literally is not work mine time to spend 3 hours over 20 bucks.

After sex, a chica asked for money over and above the agreed amount. When he wouldn't pay her the higher amount, she contacted her English-speaking "uncle" and the tourist police. The chica claimed that her cedula was fake and that she wasn't of age. My colleague spent a stressful night in the tourist police jail until he was able to come to an agreement on a payment to the mafiosa via the "uncle". His alternative was to be sent before a Puerto Plata judge and take his chances with Dominican justice.

Obviously, this was an extortion scam. While this gambit is common is the Philippines, it's almost unheard of in Sosua--until recently.

To be honest, I trust that the issue of chicas running these extortion scams to be a real issue that even competent mongers have run into. With that being said, I also believe that some reports have to be taken with a grain of salt and thoroughly vetted. The unfortunate reality is that there are a lot of disgruntled mongering veterans out there that just fear monger because they have become bitter from the increased competition of more mongers or because they have been burned by chicas after breaking the cardinal sin of never falling for a chica.

All too often I have seen reports of just about every mongering ground stating that "X is terrible now" and the reporting monger goes on to list the most farfetched nightmare scenarios. In these cases it's quite clear that the reporting monger is attempting to scare off people from visiting because of their own selfish, deceitful agendas. These same mongers are the types that will say "X used to be much better" or will go to great lengths to exaggerate the risks of a locale. Thank you again to all the honest reviewers.

I think you may have tapped into one of the problems we are having on this board: No veterans that live there posting regular positive experiences. Without that its left up to the weekend warriors and ex Sosua lovers to pipe in. Revere gives updates from SD to Puerto plata on his experiences. Oakie, WRX and Mani jump on occasionally to set the record straight, but who is our regular Sosua ex pat informer that speaks on the good in Sosua? Shit. We would all appreciate those updates.

I've told guys before to not take these boards so serious. Take everything here with a grain of salt and don't get personalized with my replies. But we are talking about some guys " pussy heaven ", or " private paradises "so it becomes personalized. But maybe if some guys that live there were to report regularly on their good and bad times in Sosua instead of only defending it, the passion they have for Sosua wouldn't feel so one sided.

First day back was pretty smooth! Beautiful day! Lots of the homies in town as usual. Beach and strip were slow, as to be expected this time of year, but definitely not dead.

He, from the point of view as a frequent monger, and me, as an ex pat. As you know over the years, we have been personally insulted for our views here. Ignorant, liar, dupe, deluded, don't know better stuff from the archives can be found. Oh, the humanity! LOL.

OK and I are in the same business, P4P. Only difference is, he rents rooms and women while in town and I lease rooms and women because I am living here.

I don't monger as much any more, but I have a steady stream of friends coming down to visit, so I stay in touch with the local P4P scene.
