1. Recreio: Casuarino + Paris Cafe. Paris is the best terma in Rio as it goes back and forth with Perola for talent. Casuarina is the best tier 1 spot to eat. It is at Posto 10 in Barra.

1. 2 Metro Jardim Oceanico: Na brasa Colombia, Olegario Maciel / Perola Negra in Barra, Posto 1. (Na Brasa Colombia is also in Botafogo, Copa, Recreio).

Perola Negra, Ave de Pepe 400, Barra, Posto 1.

Na Brasa Colombia, Barra, Olegario Maciel 7 (closest terma, and best IMHO for all Rio, is Perola Negra, Ave de Pepe 400).

You can expect to pay $250 all in. $160 for salmao na brasa, or my favorite, filet de peixe bel munier, for enough to serve 2. Again, I recommend the limonade suisse. The salada caprese is excellent. Everything is good. Locations all over Rio, including Botafogo, Copa, Recreio. Botafogo is the original, and it is located at the top of the social economic food chain (Exec Talent will hate me for saying that). Again, that's $50 US Dollars, which is not all that much in the rich world, $250 reais is a few fucks in Rio, so it is valuable consideration.

OK, all that said, what it is harder to get in those rich world venues you mention like LA or NYC is cheap, good, super hot Carioca pussy. That's the point. The top tier food and top tier hoar combination goes a long, long way towards being about all that a man wants in life -- the 6 s's -- shit, shower, shave, supper, sex, sleep.

2. Metro Uruguiana: Prive Darkroom / Centro Termas / Cais do Oriente, (close to 4 x 4 too, excellent food).

Cais do Oriente (where I ate today with two ISGers), the excellent prixe fixe menu is $70 reais plus beverage (I recommend the limonade suisse). That's $14 US Dollars. For a 3 course meal. 100 meters from 4 x4 and 65.

Aconchega Carioca, top dish there is a pumpkin stuffed with shrimp, $200 reais.

Yes you are correct there was the rate posted at the door. It was like a movie sign but it wasn't updated daily or weekly even.

This was before Iphones were really being used and I think the app store BARELY had laucned. We all just use to use the ATM as a barometer and check with a exchangerate or x change website to know a ball park of the rate. Indeed 2009 and even worse 2008 was a TERRIBle time to be aboard. Vagabundo got up and went with a fellow countryman to Americas Shopping, including to a hair place specializing in afro, and Outback. This was all a mistake as it wasted time and money that could have been invested in doing a normal prive program in centro. The haircut was 75 r, and outback was 150 r. The time cost was 2-3 hours. But since it was a countryman, we talked politics, and perhaps hat made it worthwhile.

The highlight of the day was a non pro college girl, we fucked for almost an hour, for the cost of a beer.

Too many opportunities to spike your drink, and shitty company, all old and decrepit men, including perhaps me, speaking of which, really, as a wise man on this forum once said, mongering is just part of life, and one must have other worthwhile activities, like teaching, sports, etc.

I was wearing my Muay Thai shorts as wearing the muay thai shorts under my bermudas in this weather is too hot, and some wingmen were coming up to me and asking how to train with my team. My response to be honest was like, NFW I am bringing mongers into a world of my muay thai team where there is a different vibe, a healthy vibe. As Dreman said at one point, this world of mongering is kind of a toxic culture, like perhaps smoking. Nicotine gives you a certain benefit, but it also causes certain risks. One must have balance. Since I live in this world, I take it in moderatiion, and I dislike it as I realize, it is a toxic environment, espeically in Rio de Janeiro.

Thursday, Vagabundo hit BBFS 40 minutes Cherry Torn in a centro prive for 250 including 70 tip for the bare kunt, then 60 minutes of muay thai, and after that went to the Sheraton linked up with Chicago85 and then hit Perola Negra where the talent was the same as the previous night though we got there early at 23 h as the best girls were just showing up. Midnight is optimal. The outdoor area is closed so your subjected to second hand smoke, but life is risky, I guess. We hit Pineapple for dinner, where a entre and appetizer cost each of us 200 r. Good to see interesting wingmen like Chicago.

I am a bit out of the loop, but imagine I will hit 4 x4, Monte Carlo, and and use a couple of sites like Riosexsite and BarraVips for some in-room dining. Is that too basic, will I be missing what's even better these days? It's easy, but if you care to respond or PM, let me know if you have any thoughts.

I need a chica friendly hotel / apartment for 3 nights and not sure where to search. Airbnb?

Yes, I'm going to read the board but any shortcuts or advice, especially for a decent place to stay, preferably near or in Ipa.

Thank you.[/QUOTE]The best places to stay for 99% of tourists are either Copacabana or Ipanema. Copa is a lot closer to the night life. Ipanema is more of a younger crowd for the most part and there isn't much to do there at night. I recommend Airbnb for booking. Make sure you read the listing a few times and check everywhere to make sure it doesn't say anything about guests or visitors. I would also recommend booking somewhere with a doorman.
