Plus One on the Quality of Bronx Pizza
18-inch cheese is bigger than two 12-inch pizzas at most places. Sauce is pretty legit and homemade. Crust is a bit doughy for me. I prefer it with a bit more crisp. Bought an XL cheese for 420, took it home and reheated it in a pan to make it crispy. Doing it this way puts Bronx at my top pizza in Pattaya. So in this order for best so far. Any others I should try?
I agree with Mr. Paw that Bronx Pizza makes some mighty tasty pizza. The 18-inch pie is not cheap at 420-475 baht (depending on toppings). But that is one ginormous pie -- easily enough to last several days using a skillet to reheat the slices as needed. (Don't use the microwave. It makes the pizza soggy and limp.) I prefer the "chew" in Bronx Pizza's crust, which is the "New York pizza" crust that I like. But if you prefer a crispier texture, just ask them and they'll leave your pie in the oven a trifle longer. As for what Mr. Paw should try next, I recommend their Bronx Pizza, which features Italian sausage, green pepper and onion.

Pattaya Report Sunday 6/28
Had a nice going away dinner and chat with XXL and another guy from PA at Jolly's on Soi Boo Cow. We were the only people there from 7 until about 8 pm. Thanks to XXL for the treat. The guy is pretty legit and quite young in spirit for some one his age. He sees a girl he likes and has no problem going up to her and trying. Not saying he succeeds all the time, but the fact that he keeps trying is something worth mentioning. Tall Russian chick with 4 muscle heads surrounding her or not, XXL doesn't give a damn. We usually meet regularly at Treetown before the raids and even dropped on 4/20 at a little get together held by guys from PA. My first time rolling with a group like that. Very spiritual 3 hours. Anyways, have a good trip back Europe XXL.
Does this just leave me as the "Last Weekend Warrior" in Pattaya in the whole wide world? Maybe I should just say "Warrior" since I do this for way much longer than a weekend. I've met a bunch of stranded tourists in the last 4 months. But when we share stories about Pattaya, they look at me in awe. My stories at the Go Go bars seem unbelievable to them. Lord, forbid we share pics of the quality of girls we've hunted, which we did. I figure it would come down to this. Just Monkeypaw, the models, the coyotes, and the GoGo bars if they dare to open on Wednesday. Saw a couple of bars at LK Metro doing some cleaning, but not sure what for. Let's see what they do or if they have the guts to try to open.
1. Beach Road girls / ladyboys Sunday to Thurs about 100 of them from Pattaya Klang to bit past Royal Garden. Friday and Saturday much less due to locals swarming the beach on the weekend. Few hookers on Buakhao now, still quite a few LBs around that area and that massage street next to Lengkee.
2. 99% Indian restaurants still closed. Chinese seafood places as well.
3. Almost everything on and near Walking Street is closed.
4. Some hotels are opened, but most that do are still empty.
5. Food lines are still happening daily all over the city.
6. Even TF looks thinner in Pattaya for females specs age 18-29, under 50 kg.
7. Travel agencies / Tour operators all shut down.
8. Hooters BR still closed.
9. Kiss on Second Road about 3 people dining at 6:45 pm Sunday.
10. McD's only opened at TukCom, and Avenue that I know of.
11. Treetown is restricted and 80% less busier than before the raids.
12. Sex can still be found at the massage shops around Buakhao and Soi Honey. Service and quality is a different story.
Basically, if it was a Tourist Trap, whether it was a restaurant, night market, bar, club, massage shop, or whatever type of business or scam it was and you never saw the locals spending their cash at these types of places. It still is closed. Because businesses that operate as tourist traps need tourists to trap. Am I wrong?
