Afaik, HSV gives you some cold-like sores now and then. With HSV-1 being concentrated on the face, and HSV-2 on the genitalia, and most infected people not even getting those symptoms, I'm guessing the relative harmlessness of it is also part of the reason there is apparently no cure for it yet, unlike other stds, HIV excepted.

It sounds like you're speaking from experience, so what other things about HSV-2 is it that makes your life shit? I tried to google it now, but couldn't really find anything that made it sound that bad.

I'm super old, and thinking that with little time left and almost nothing left to lose, what's wrong with picking up an std or two while living out my sexual fantasies. Thing is, as much paid fucking as I've done in all my decades, I don't think I've done nearly enough, because I haven't picked up an std yet. Doctor says, it's almost 100 percent I've gotten hpv, that's something inevitable, when I described to him my sexual history. And of course, nobody wants HIV. That's how I got my boner pills. I'm sure it's the same with prep or anything else they might have. You walk in, say what you want, and if they don't have that specific brand, they might have a generic version, you pay cash and voila!

It's rough. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

The only way I can live with it is to take aciclovir twice a day. In Thailand that gets (relatively) expensive.

Not to all your big rollers obviously but a few dollars a week adds up over the year.

It's not like the old days when you could just walk in with a shopping list.

They must have tightened up the rules because the pharmacists were all very strict.
