Hotel Tropicoco.Santa Maria beach
Have been hearing good intel about the scene in the lobby of the hotel and the helpfullness of the night time security.
Has anybody heard anything about AI Club Atlantico down the beach road from the Tropicoco, it is a much nicer hotel comapred to the Tropicoco but probally would not be worth it if the other luxuries of the Tropicoco arent to be had.
Getting Chicas Out of Cuba
Hey Guys,
Not a report just a few questions please. Planning on my first trip to Cuba end of June or early July, from the posts I have read I really look forward to it. Left the States for Panama 7 years ago so I do not have the US BS regulations to deal with thank the Creator. If I find the right lady would like to bring her home with me to teach her English and bone up on my Spanish along with the obvious. Plan on staying for at least 2 weeks so would not be in a rush to accomplish my goals.
Questions:
Is it true most Cubans ladies would be very happy to leave their country?
What is the procedure to get her through customs and on a plane?
Anyone know what they charge their citizens for a passport?
Planing to stay in a casa particular near the beach outside of Havana, any suggestions?
Where is the best places to pick up chicas near the Havana beach?
Also planing on renting a car for a few days and checking the village girls out in the country as well, any suggestions?
Do they still add an entry stamp on a piece of paper rather then stamp your passport?
Do they still charge a 10% fee to convert USD?
Sorry for all of the questions and all constructive responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Getting Chicas Out Of Cuba
Thanks Sammytheman! Your input shed light on a few issues.
On the issue of getting a girl out of Cuba I have read on other forums that you both can go to a public Notary and sign a statement of agreement. The agreement being you accept responsibility for her safety and well being while out of the country and that you are engaged, NOT MARRIED. If any one has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Also if anyone has any knowledge of the cost and procedure they need to go through to obtain a Passport and if there is any grease that needs to be dished out along the way.
I have read many of warning on the possible car rental problems in Cuba, but damn that does sure open a lot more possibilities. Will most likely be traveling with a friend here in Panama to share expenses, guess we will just hold off on that decision and cross that bridge when we get to it.
On the Casa Particulars I found this map on this forum I believe that other wil find helpful as well. (

Can someone please shed more light on this?

Nope, just pay $25 exit fee that they stamp your visa on the flight into Cuba.
On another note I hear there is a serious lack of cell phones, this is probably a dumb question but is there anywhere a guy can rent a cell phone for the duration of his stay?
Thanks
