I checked my XE app yesterday before turning my Dominican Pesos into USD at the airport. The app said $109 for 5600 pesos. When I went to the window of Banresrvas and dude tallied it up, the same $109 was what I was to receive.
Most other countries I can not understand why people are still using those places. They are the biggest ripoffs. I may start picking people out of the lines and exchanging for them (for $, euro, and pounds only) at half the rate the exchange place is charging. Easy way to make some extra cash.
I pulled out 600K COP at Bancolombia at the airport in Bogota last night. Along with their 14,520 COP ($4.59) fee, $192.36 came out of my Schwab account. That would make the exchange rate for using the machine 3,194.63 COP for $1.

Flew to the states a couple of weeks ago. It's been a while since I flew to the states and back from Medellin. What struck me was a noticeable change in the passengers going and coming. I'll leave it at that. Enjoy the scene!

The hold up was the interview and my local office had a 5 month backlog but I found other offices in other parts of the country with only a day or two backlog.

Was in Plaza Botero today, there were lots of girls, many of not all borderline age wise. Not a single one (I tired at least 10) could produce a seeédula or passport that would allow her entry into my place at Hotel Nutibarra. I'll leave it at that.

I primarily had citas with vennies this trip and I have no complaints. The going rates for "rato" a short time such as 45-60 minutes was $30-$45 mil. I have seen much more activity in Parque Botero related to competition between the Vennies and Colombianas. I see many boyfriends or handlers or whatever they are, which is a turn off for me. I also see more police and security presence in the parque even in the day time. My advice, continue to spend your money how you see fit, its your money. As for me, a cute 18-22 yr old with a bunny rabit habit, will fit my bill. Too many times I have been offered girls with the surgical bodies and we didn't vibe, but to each his own. Of course I got photos, that's mandatory for me, but may not be a issue for others. So after being here for nearly 5 days and not spending much more than a hundred dollars a day and banging 4-5 chics daily. Centro is a place full of angels to me, but we all have our pics. I win a whole hell of a lot more than I lose. What are the chances of complications? And even if there were, depending where the person lived, it could still be cheaper to fly back to handle it when you look at the costs of care in the USA. Plus you factor in the fun that you have while there and it equals out to be all worthwhile.
