Yesterday, I'm having a trankilo Domingo beer in one of my fave bars off the strip, with the two beautiful server semi pro friends, good vibe, good music. This old pro monger comes in and sits down, orders a Cuba libra, or something with coke.

He asks for the bill, and chica wants 150. He goes off on a loud rant, disturbing the peace, shouting to anybody who will listen and arguing the price. Keeps shouting how it's a rip off, cheaper down the street, and how he will never come back here again. We all roll our eyes.

He hollers at me from across the bar, hey, how much you paying for your beer? Don't know, I laugh, haven't seen la quenta yet, LOL.

He carries on with his rant, until he finishes his drink, now everybody has their back turned to him, and he finally leaves, still complaining loudly.

Gives mongers a bad name, and is living proof why some monger's milieage does vary. A lot! :)

There's a good business reason why bars charge what they do, and chicas quote them high prices! He's a good example!

I am a tourist in DR for 3 months and I am staying here till April 15 but mostly in Santo Domingo. I would like to make a visit to Sosua but I would like to know what are the girls like in Sosua. Are there more darker or lighter in color? Are there any Venezuelans that are available for sex?

If that sort of thing appeals to you, you will probably have a good time.

Just a warning to all. The owner of take me back to [URL]sosua.com[/URL] is biased, he owns a bar in the Sosua area and will delete comments and hide the truth about what occurs in Sosua. I recently posted a report below and it was deleted. It is important to get the truth out there and not be censored.

Landed in POP at around 11:30 PM and everything went without a hassle. Didn't have to pay any fees, so not sure what the $10 tourism fee that some spoke about here and elsewhere is about. Driver brought me to Hotel Europa and along the way, I'm going to be honest, I was a bit taken aback by how rundown the the neighborhoods we passed were. Driver dropped me off and asked for $30 and I gave him $40 based on the advice from a TMBTS member suggesting that I have him in my pocket so that he'the pull through with some chicas if I needed or needed a trusted driver anywhere. At this point, it's actually raining pretty heavily in Sosua. Check in and brother with a shotgun brings me to my room. A bit of a wake up moment but I am a sheltered individual, and not used for these type of environments. Fair play to the shotgun guy in that he was actually a chill guy and pulled through.

For my first chica in Sosua.

Entered my room and was kinda worried by the room but I worry a lot and it ended up being fine for the first night. Surprisingly quiet and nice enough for under $50/ night Hotel Europa. Definitely not a Marriott or even Holiday Inn vibe. Took a while to get situated in my room and shower, so I finally got down to the front desk of the Europa to exchange money at 1:30 ish. Unfortunately, all the chica activity and bars had closed for at that point I was informed. Asked if it was because of the heavy rain and shotgun brother said no, standard for the policia to close down the bars and surrounding area around this time. Was disappointed because the little head was primed for some action. Asked shotgun bro if he could suggest a way to get a chica. Told me I would have to hop on a moto and go to the casino or he had a friend that could hook me up. Met with his friend and paid him $500 pesos and he told me he's send over a chica to my room at 2500 pesos for an hour. Chica shows up around an hour later and she's a sexy slim chica with decent size bust and a curvy ass. But not as thick as I would like. A bit of confusion in my room because she didn't speak a word of English and I don't speak a word of Spanish. Asked to have her suck my dixk with condom on and she said no and some other words in Spanish.

No bueno. Need my dick sucked to get hard. Eventually conveyed as much and she points to the condom and pulls it off and then sucked my dick. Took me by surprise. Guess the issue was her not wanting to suck my dick with a condom on? Unexpected and bizarre. Chica sucked at sucking and it wasn't working for me. Eventually just paid her 2500 for her efforts and thanked her as I kicked her out of my room.

All in all my first night in Sosua definitely suffered from beginner's jitters. Luckily shotgun brother was nice enough, or st least faux nice enough (no doubt probably due to the $10 tip I gave him and the expectation / hope for more) to be as accommodating as possible as he even knocked on my door to ask if I was okay after the less than great session with my first chica. Hoping I can hit the streets today and negotiate some better experiences. I am heading out during the day and will hopefully pop at least once in the day and maybe once or twice in the evening.

Lastly, reports of Sosua's demise have been premature. I don't know how the quality of chicas was before, but the talent I saw in the street was UNREAL. Nearly every chica had the curves that I love. Obviously can't speak to their experience in bed yet or how the negotiations go for the street chicas. Will see if night 2 improves. Hoping to find a Haitian girl with an ass to test out the common suggestion that Haitians provide better service.

Summary: night 1 only 1 chica at 2500 pesos with a 500 peso handler fee. Lackluster performance partially due to language barrier and partially due to chica attitude. Hoping night 2 improves. Heavy rain in Sosua ATM.

Don't let the "brother with a shotgun" thing scare you. You will see that all down through Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Not surprised you're seeing a lot of talent on the street. The Super Bowl is coming up soon and it's the high season in the Caribbean. Lots of tourists in town means plenty of opportunities for the WGs to make some money.

Not sure how much longer you'll be in Sosua, but you might want to try exchanging dollars for pesos at the local Western Union. Their rates are probably better than what you'll find at the Europa. Also, stop my Moesha's Reggae Lounge on the beach for a meal and look for Derrick "Big Dee" Sartor, too, as he makes some of the best ribs and fixings that I've ever eaten.

Update (Day / Night 2 and Day / Night 3 in Sosua. Friday).

Thursday.

Thursday was better than Wednesday. Walked up and down the strip and saw a lot of good chicas. Popped into Sosua Lights and found it nearly empty. Luckily found a well-curved black chica in a tight blue dress. Give her the script of 2500 pesos for una hora completa chupas sin condom (BBBJ) and leche en ta boca o cara (facial or CIM). Walk back to my hotel and we shower together. Fondling in the shower was great. Head to the bed and out comes the condom.
