Hit the ground running and checked out a few Centro casas. Did three sessions at three different casas. I got no GFE from all three. Is a hammer safe or dangerous to use? All depends on how you use the hammer and whether you know how to use it.
Safety is mostly determined by the individual, not the environment. Take responsibility for your own safety and your risk becomes negligible.

I will speculate that in most cases above they happened to be there to party and cheap pussy on the side was available. It might not have been the sole purpose of their trip. OR. Maybe it was (Bill Clinton flew to Costa Rica to get laid?) Maybe they were hiding from a wife or the press and were just looking for some strange but not right in their back yards.
