When I was first told to come to Thailand by guys like Breadman and Finnish Fucker, my decision was put off by a year when I kept looking at the horror on the free Thai porn sites and in the pics in the photo gallery thread on this site. Change in Business Model?
Last night went to Pin Up. Somebody important (a Thai girl, maybe related to boss) birthday. Open up at lunch time and afternoon just like Hong King Club. One big party from opening to closed. Charge a cover for food and entry plus one drink if you have to. This customer base of expats will come eat and let the girls work their charm. Charge girls to work there once it gets popular. Whatever you do, use Fahrenheit. It's the best in terms of space and looks. If you have a better venue than they do, you need to be able to deviate from the norm, change and adapt. Whatever it takes to survive and grow. Basically supply is down as demand is down, because like I said before tourist traps need tourists to trap. The mamasans are always asking me when are they coming back. I told them honestly, it's the end of the world as they knew it. The old Go Go business model is pretty much dead. Time to change?
