Peter, I was chilling out in PatPong corner cafe called Muzzik.
There was an American guy there sitting with a Thai Gf i believe. This guy was stopping any girl that looked stunning and just get out of his pocket 100 bhat and ask her to pose looking to the camera, then looking back to the camera with her body facing the other way.
IT was cool with most girls but some ladies just said no. and it was cool.

His approach was provoking to some people (me included) as he just stop the gurl, get out the money and point to the camera, but anyway, it is up to the girls to decide.
This Muzzik cafe is opposite to some clock in or card punch for working girls, so a good point to capture the ladies coming to work in Patpong

Not that many Farang at all. It's very similar to all the clubs around Ekkamai and Thonglor. The clubs in this area are of a particular style favoured by the beautiful people - lots of models and actresses etc. I don't think it's a place to score. You'd have to be a major hunk to get a look-in. But, its novelty is the wall-to-wall eye-candy.

Sounds like JET, is a place to play a game for the ego. Use to do this when I was much younger and didn't know any better and I was still working so if I spend more than I should I knew I could go home, work a little harder to pay the bill.

Still got my gold rolex that my first wife gave me over 25 years ago. When I use to visit Hong Kong alot went out to lots of clubs with my cousins that the Hi-So, wanna be's actresses, or girls trying to hook up to be mistresses, etc.. like to hang out. It was just a game to see if we could get some of these girls who thought their shit didn't smell into bed.

I would get a nice hotel ( 5 stars ) dress up a little and put that Rolex on, hit the club and tell every girl I met that I was a pilot for a major airline in the U.S. did it work everytime? hell no, but it worked enough that it was worth the effort. As noted in a old post, I met a bunch of girls once at the Landmark hotel years back which I though was or they though they were Hi-So, even without the Rolex, but had to get a room the next day at Landmark, to get laid. Might have to give this a try at JET, and see if this old crow gets tossed out!

Have tried to figure out what they were trying to achieve by doing this, but still haven't managed to work it out.

The only thing I have come up with is that Thais in general often confuse generosity with weakness, that is to say, if you give in to their every whim, especially financially, they will construe this as you being weak.

I will avoid JET for sure, I have enough business parties with these Hi-so people as it is, they are boring, self centered and very superficial (and they're not all good looking).

One little piece of advice to those who go to JET and get a girl (Very possible because these girls like to fuck farangs), be very cautious because behind her sweet little sexy ass and charm, the girl's daddy can be a very powerful somebody (that could get you in some serious trouble).

There aren't only HiSo girls there. I just mentioned that you'll find models and actresses. A lot of the girls are middle-class, some with jobs, some students etc. But, they do tend to be Thai-Chinese or Thai-Thai. Unlikely you'd ever find an Isaan girl in such a place, although one never knows.

Nic is a master but for myself as a newbie a few years ago I made the mistake of seeing a girl who worked for immigration and from what i guess was from an important family, what did I know, I was (and am) a dumb foreigner in their country. After that I went out with a girl from the OSME.... Both girls caused me problems in the end. I however do some work in the country, if visiting then you run a smaller risk if you mess with the wrong side. But for me since I work there I'll stick with Isan girls, atleast when they screwed you, you actually get screwed.

I'm not actively looking for a wife however and I don't need to mark notches on my belt or above the headboard to keep score anymore. Saying this, Platinum Fashion Mall turned out to be a very easy place to pick up girls who were shopping and worked there. Obviously not all willing to go the extra mile after working hours but the girls who were interested were not the girls you'd see standing outside Nana on a regular basis but some of these girls were beautiful.

Thanks for the advice. I know exactly what you are talking about it's pretty much the same in Hong Kong. It's who you know! At my age, looks aren't my highest priority these days at my age. I'm not prince charming! But from my experience the best lays are the average looking one's. The advantage I have is that I'm a farang but chinese from the U.S., most of the time when I meet Thai's they stare and are somewhat amazed.

But as far as really going to JET, I wouldn't waste my money.

A lot of the top actresses aren't that special looking to my taste, especially the half and half ones.
Thai taste and Farang taste seem to be different.
