Hi spearrsman. Thanks for Your answer. Actually You are not shattering my dreams, my main reason is surfing and thats why I am going to Bali, if it was for sex I would have gone to Philippines ot thai, as you suggest. But I am ofcourse intrested in the girls where ever I travel so thats why I ask. I have read many posts on this forum and think I will find a girl if thats what I want. I seems to me you don't have much info to add to this thread."go to Thailand" is that a smart answer to questions about Bali?
You should take a look at Popper1 posts, they give good information and are not the same obeservations You have done.
Coastwalker
No issue getting the girls into your room. But usually security charges the girl a fee. 50, 000 to 100, 000.

Newbie Help
Hiya Folks,
Reet this is my first adventure down in the mongering world. End up paying one way or another for pussy so what the hell right might as well have it without the nagging. Ha ha ha.
Anyways I'm after some advice, (full beginners breakdown) I've got the chance of 3 weeks in Bali in June. Gunna be more beach based (kuta, benoa) than inland and I'm after some advice, contacts, places if anyone can help.
Cheers Phil

Continually fascinated by the total unresponsiveness, particularly toward a newbie, when it comes to helping or sharing rudimentary information. A fundamental purpose of this board.
Yes, we can all go back and read hours of posts, but to ignore a request for simple "start-off" info is sad.
SilverFox31, I cannot help you as I am also seeking info for my first trip, however, if you need any info about Thailand or the Philippines let me know.

Padma Utara most of the spa / massage places HJ & BJ are available, cost variance pay Rp. 70, 000 for the massage plus the extras HJ 50, 000-100000BJ Rp. 100, 000-150, 000. Other options use Barry's map Sanur bordellos cost Rp. 250, 000-350, 000 if you go with a driver he is getting a commission so the price you pay to the boss is much more. Bars in Kuta Paddy's, Bounty, Sky Garden hard pros WG are available but action start past midnight, asking price Rp. 1million but you can bargain down to Rp. 500-600, 000 for short time 2 2/12 hrs. Fundamental purpose
[snip]
... helping or sharing rudimentary information. A fundamental purpose of this board.
[snip]
Spot on. And all rudimentary information (plus a lot more) is already here on the board. To explictly ask for rudimentary information just shows lack of respect to the board members who have added this information already.
Recently we had the example of CoastWalker who asked some real rudimenatry questions (posts #3050 and #3051). After an intial ironic response he got the information and was directed to the Bali Monger Map. And then he was too damn lazy to scroll down the map, and instead put a new question:
...
I have looked at the monger map (great work there) but wich ones are the X-houses?
...
Coastwalker
And another guy, Pedros Needs, gets confused by street names after having been directed to the map:
.... But street names and landmarks confuse me.
Pedro
And you yourself, with those hundreds of posts, also showed the same disrespect one year ago:
I spend a lot of time in the PI and Thailand, thinking about a trip to Bali.
Looking for some general info, e. g, where do I fly into, hotels, is the scene clubs, fl's etc.
Any info to start me off.
Thanks
You are not a newbie in ISG so at least you should know to read at least all posts in Reports Of Distinction. There is info to start anyone off.
I am 'continually fascinated' by guys who seem to think that ISG is a 24/7 manned boot for Q&A where you can demand a response on return.

That type of conduct. I agree, I. E, I do not condone laziness.
However, initial helpful info is not the same, e. G, a good hotel, cab fair from the airport, what's a good fl bar, where is the center of the action, etc.
Would you like to search for hours to find out local cab rates?
It just appears to me on this thread there seems to be a reluctance to help. I am lucky because I did recieve a number of pm's with basic info I was seeking.

Suggestions
Agree with Henry the street names can be hard to get your head around.
Anyone help me with a clean reasonably priced hotel that want to access for maybe only 2-3 hours during the day for some fun. Ideally that will accept the reasoning and take ones money.
Around Legian. Seminyak or Kuta ideally.
Any suggestions of privates around those areas also be appreciated as here for 10 more days.
Good luck all.

I am a newbie to Bali / Batam, I. E, the need for basic info.
Go back and read my posts, you will find that many times I have reciprocated, with respect to basic info.
I am not saying people should not research, alteratively, as my previous exemplar states, do you need to read hours of posts to find out basic cab rates.
I tried to find the post you referred to but couldn't.
Wouldn't waste my time asking you again anyway you arrogant ****.
On a side note: Why on earth would you ask for local cab rates in a Sex Guide? Wouldn't any tourist information site be more adequate? And what says your time is more valuable than mine?
Conclusion
I stand by my opinion that a pre-qualification for a newbie to post a question to the forum is to at least have read the ROD.
But I also respect that you are prepared to respond to the most trivial questions, but please don't question other forum members for beeing reluctant to do so.

Bali Monger Map 1.1
The Bali Monger Map is an interactive map that shows venues in the Indonesian island of Bali where men can find women for sexual exercises. The purpose of the map is not only to show a static image of venues, but moreover for adventureous mongers to add their own findings and thus contribute to completeness of the map. How to do this is described in the attached Maintenance Manual.
It's nearly one year ago since I released the interactive Bali Monger Map, and though many guys have used it and shown appreciation I had expected a little more contribution, especially regarding the venues on the west coast: Kuta, Legian, Semarang and so on, e. g. the places mentioned in Ryo Saeba's post #1414, August 2009.
Till now it is still Sanur that is best covered, so I challenge you guys who have the knowledge (especially those who requested the map: Longbald in post #2522 and Sharka in post #2541) to add the west coast venues.
To recap: the map is open for editing for the account bali.monger, which is a gmail account. Login instructions as well as instructions on how to do things is included in the attached Manual.
On the other hand, the reason for the lack of contributions might very well have been Google policy: There seems to have been some difficulties in logging in to the bali.monger account. Google keeps track of the location from which logging in is done. If it is a new location Google wants some verification and displays a form with three verification methods. Here option 'Answer my security question' should be selected. The security question is 'Where is Goyang? ' and the secret response is 'Madura' (see post #2504 for explanation).
The version 1.1 is a minor update of the map:

For the cat houses in Sanur some quality information has been added:

Room rating: *, ** or ***, where ** is what you can expect and *** is better.
Cooling: Either Fan or AC

Some low cost hotels in Sanur have been added.
The map update also includes an update of the PDF with the maintenance manual (in two parts)
A 'User Guide' which among other things also shows how to save placemarks to a Smartphone (Android).
For those who don't want to bring their Smartphone along when going mongering, the printout of the map has some draw backs: When printed out on paper the placemarks on the map are anonymus. The identity of each placemark thus needs to be filled in by hand on the printout. For the Sanur area there is however a manipulated version, Absolute Sanur X 3.0.pdf (attached in this post) where all the placemarks have their correct names.
Both the latest versions of manual and the Absolute Sanur X 3.0.pdf will be stored as attachments to emails in the inbox of the bali.monger account.
Noteably Google in general has upgraded to Google Plus, but for pictures that are going to be used with placemarkers in the map we stay in old Picasaweb (for picture linking reasons).
Attachments:
For uploading size reasons the maintenance document has been split into two part

Using Barri's Bali Monger Map. Pdf
Maintenance of Barri's Bali Monger Map, part 1.pdf
Maintenance of Barri's Bali Monger Map, part 2.pdf
Absolute Sanur X 3.0.pdf
Enjoy!

Why ask, why not. Your on the website your paying for.
Now are you suggesting we go to separate web sites to ask for advice on hotels, restaurants, etc?

Dissapointing
I love this site find it invaluable post often and frequently assist members through private messaging as I feel that avoids unneccessary reading for others.
Its a shame some members just appear to get of with having a crack at what others post on here.
The gentlemen who does the maps for Bali in particular calls others arrogant but I have found him to be one of the most judgmental and arrogant people I have ever communicated with on here.
Some no doubt find his maps very helpful so its a shame he detracts from that good assistance with his arrogance and unwarranted at times comments.
In the end we are all here for the one purpose many have different cultures, backgrounds not to mention languages so helping all should be the purpose of the site.
