Most gals in the Go-Go's in Bangkok can be had for 1500 short. And methinks when amnesty ends in September it's going to be even more a buyer's market both in Bangkok and in Pattaya. Happy days are here again.

I agree with you, it's going to be a long time before the world is open up to travel again. It's amazing how many people are resistant to wearing masks and extending courtesy to other people.

I remember when I first went to Thailand girls were desperate and will allow anything and charge less. Right now it is desperate times for them. Moment legions of mongers come flooding back in and throw money around it is going to screw things up for average monger. I am sure many of the girls are staying put in their provinces one being afraid of covid and other is not getting their expected price for sex.

Unfortunately for Thailand most of tourists who come on vacation go to resorts and that income will be gone for a while.

Many here talk up desperately waiting for the first available flight and there surely will be those that return on the first available means. But in the grand scheme if things that's not huge numbers. Multinationals will be risk and reputation adverse to sending business travelers across as Guinea pigs. Similarly many guys with means and ability to travel will be reluctant to travel until the situation has well and truly settled down. Sensationalist media reports won't help this. Then you have the 1000's of mongers who have lost overtime, income, jobs, small businesses etc and will be unable to travel.

I'm certainly keen to see things reopen but how quickly they return, I'm unsure.

It's really much more pleasant and reminds me of what it was like in Thailand when I moved here 20 years ago. The era of mass tourism from heavily populated countries is good for the economy but not so much for the land. I am planning to do a lot of trips within Thailand over the next year. And I'm really looking forward to not having to battle the masses. Perhaps we have reached the end of mass tourism. With the possibility of many airlines going out of business, it won't be as cheap to fly. I really don't think this will discourage the mongers, we are a hardy and determined bunch. But those that want to come, see things quickly, take some Instagram photos, and go home, might not be as eager.

As far as P4 P is concerned, it might be that gal's learn to rely on locals again. Locals were actually preferred to tourists or frequent visitors when I first moved here. Gals wanted to have regulars they could count on. But we'll see the lay of the land come December when they realize there might not be a high season.

Her having another man's baby is a big turn off. But whether or not those attributes in women make Thai men more or less interested in fucking them tonight is debatable.

From what I see walking around Thailand, Thai men do not choose mates based on many attributes we Farangs find more sexually attractive, skin color not usually ranking so high; well proportioned, fit and toned bodies, slim yet curvy. Or, if they do, they are having a hard time hooking up with ones like that over the age of 18.

And the sexual skills a once married (to a Thai man) non pro brings to the bed are usually abysmal to non existent. So we know Thai men are not choosing Thai women for bed partners on that basis.

We do cross over in our interest in youth and good health. But those are two universal attributes for sexual attractiveness anyway.

I just think it's odd that a comparison is made by Thai men between the kind of lady we all might want to marry and raise our children with the kind we want to (and are available to) fuck within an hour of meeting them and have them go away.

Moreover, if there was a red light destination filled with lighter skin, no baby, well educated, monied, higher status girls willing to fuck and suck Farang strangers within an hour of meeting them for no more than 2,000 - 3,000 baht and then go away I am pretty sure that place would be very popular with us bottom feeding Farangs who tend to head to Nana, Cowboy and Patpong for that kind of action.

It stretches from the small town karaoke bars to the world of the high end "mia noi's" with kapoo's and gentleman's clubs in between which while not all off limits to foreigners are mostly frequented by Thais. Even though some oilies will not take Thai customers and girls working the tourist / expat end of the business will often say they don't particularly like Thai men the reality is the Thai on Thai P4P scene is on a countrywide basis much bigger than one might imagine.
