Thai doesn't use gender specific pronouns usually, except for first person "I". In English we musts use the pronoun "she" for ladies / girls of the 2nd type, to be culturally or politically correct.

Its impolite to refer to a LB as he or him.

Mackin and I went to see the Thai gogo bars in Suthisan Road, Saphan Kwai district. We got there a bit too early. It doesn't really get going till 11:00 pm when shows start up.

[/QUOTE]I agree, on my first and only visit to SK bars a few months ago, I spent a couple of hours at T Ded 99, and there was not a single farang to be found, in the low lighting I could spot only thai's sharing tables with several of the dancers. I must have left sooner because none of the shows had begun. The two people who could may be comprehend a couple of words of English were the mamasan and the waiter. The girl could hardly understand anything. Some of the girls were indeed pretty, but yes the slim types aren't as common (which is also my preference).
