As xman notes, EDSA is group of gogo bars, not freelancer places. LA Cafe is sort of unique in that regard.

I always liked Cotton Club best and know several nice looking girls there, Never a fan of Firehouse or Spacegirls. Casino and Pitstop also better than the others IMHO.

I did this once and the girl took off. You are cheating the club when you do this and most of the time if she has girlfriend with her who is jealous they will take off trust me...She was going to come but her friend talked her out of it.

i'll be making my first trip to the phils sometime over the next few months and have a few questions for some of you veterans over there. i generally do quite will with pinays here in singapore but i'm compelled now to go investigate the mother lode. ;-)

first...i'm not really into the go gos and bars as i am into finding 'real' girls looking to play or at least part-timers. i'm aware of all the online sites such as dia and will effort to take full advantage of those as the time gets closer. but for now, can somebody tell me about the mall scene there and any other places you'd recommend for finding the above mentioned? i've read elsewhere that there are certain malls and other venues where girls go to "get picked up by foreigners" and that's what i'm looking for. i've also heard there are some malls where the girls are way too young and want to avoid that as well. college age is quite ok but i'm definitely not looking for ****.

secondly...i'll be in the phils for probably just a week and am thinking about spending it all in manila and angeles as this will be my first time there. thoughts on whether i should bother venturing any farther with only a week to play?

most of the malls i have been in i usually get approached by at least a few girls. most will expect you to make the first introductory moves. as for the names of the malls? it really depends on where you are staying, as metro manila is quite big. let us know what part of manila you will bbe staying and i sure we can give you the names of some places.

i am confused by the statement that you don't like go go bars but plan on spending part of your time in angeles, it is nothing but go go bars.

women will try to pick you up everywhere in pi the place is a crazy as hell. they are shy but they will do subtle things to let you know they are interested. hang out at the gloriaetta in makati and the greenbelt and shop and shop but not for clothes...

i was once a singapore monger, used to run thru 'em at the orchard road establishment (4 floors of *****s). you will do well in any mall in the philippines. in manila i would recommend any place but the robinson's mall close to ermita is probably best. just go sit down at one of the coffee shops or french bread bakers with a table facing passing traffic. the girls will troll by
and give you "the look" if you like, smile and nod to the empty seat next to you.

some malls have banned these girls and the security guards know the regulars on site doesn't stop 'em. a word of caution, some of these girls can be ****.

Imho the best Mall for FL pickups is dumpy old Harrison Plaza in Malate, and Robinson's Ermita is second. Mall of Asia is where the elites go and not good for pickups. SO crowed on weekends.

If non-pros are your preference, you can skip Angeles entirely. Frankly, I'd skip Manila too and go straight to Cebu. Much nicer city, with friendlier people and sweeter girls, than either Manila or Angeles. Cebu pacific flies non stop from Cebu to SIN (as does Silk Air if you have the $$$) each night for about $100 each way.

If the cheapest places to drink, gamble and do pros is what you want, go straight to Angeles and stay the full week. Tiger Air flies nonstop daily from SIN to Clark Field, minutes from Angeles' bar strip.

Thanks to ALL for the helpful advice. As a couple of you have suggested, maybe I'll give Angeles a miss and focus on Manila and/or Cebu. I'm just worried that I'll have a harder time in Cebu and less to fall back on in the way of clubs and bars there as opposed to Manila...

Cebu is all good. If you want square ( non-pros) girls they are in abundance. If you want bars not as much as Manila but you will find what you are looking for. Cebu has my grade A stamp of aproval. :)

I hadn't thought of that, but you are absolutely right. I bumped into a few EDSA ladies at LA Cafe and even bumped into one who had accompanied her bar fine...

Someone educate me....why barfine a girl out of EDSA and then take her to LA Cafe?
