GB Road is a hardware market. It starts in the morning. It has around 96 Kothas (*****houses) if am correct. You can venture out at around noon or evening to be on the safe side. You could encounter usual pickpockets or people looking to fool / deceive you. It is up to your judgement to decipher between the con and the truth. There is no one as such who would attack you. It is not a place frequented by tourists much as I said before so I am not sure you would find many farangs. It is basically a filthy area. The doors do lock and have lights when you are inside with a girl. Although the room might be stinky and the girl would be not really GF but a mechanical quick bang thank you mam! There would also be bathrooms I suppose since these girls live there. It is their home!

For the hotel the one star am telling you would have all the basic amenities but coming to India don't expect it to be quiet and bug free! For valuables I am not too sure but over all it is not safe to trust the hotel staff in such areas nor their locker facility!

Was having a long dry spell which ended last week with an imported chicka.
