Angeles City

I was over in AC earlier June for about four days and thought the talent in bars gogos and clubs was very weak. I must say that I got there at like 0400 as I took the flight from Bangkok on Saturday so it was early Sunday morning. I also didn't go into Mega Dance that night (Didn't know that is the happening club now). I have something to do in AC the first week of October so booked a flight to Mnl in September and while it not the reason I'm going I'll check out the scene while there. Is my thinking correct that a lot of the chicks have moved online I got buddies who say they get chicks off of facebook and various dating sites and that the girls are cute. So to me that may be a reason the bars suck nowadays.

I couldn't see for my self as my tinder gold wasn't working and I don't have facebook. I plan to have tinder working this time to see. As I said in an earlier post the only attractive girls I saw were from Mega Dance and they weren't customers there just the bottle girls and the bikini dancers. The only place I saw improvement was the ladyboys that stand. On the street and at Paradise sports bar at the end of walking street are more attractive than they were nine years ago.

Stay in contact a bit between returns and of course all of them say I will wait. Hahaha, same line I'm sure they use on everyone. Not often but a few times since there are regulars you may get attached, this is just human nature. This is the only pitfall I see vs the guys who just shop around every visit and don't do many if any repeats. Both ways have there trade offs. Regulars you hit the ground running plus they know you and you already have a connection. No guesswork, you know what you're getting. Drawback its possible to get hooked, I'm guilty of this too. Rain, rain and more rain, its hard to get motivated to hit the bars when its very wet, what does not help is the constant road works in and around walking street which turns the roads into muddy areas, but out we went over the last couple of weeks.

Its fair to say that bar hops over the last several months have been split barhops because my western friends refuse to go to or drink in the many korean oriented bars of walking street for the simple fact they cannot get any girl attention from the better girls in the korean bars, as the western bars are so few now days it can get pretty boring to visit the same few bars with mostly older fatter plain girls working there, but at least the girls tend to be friendly, will accept lady drinks and give some attention to punters.

My korean friends insist on drinking in the korean oriented bars which are many because they just don't like the look of the older girls in the western bars, I tend to agree with them when it comes to the girls.

Western bars seem to be having a hard time, their customers tend to be older expats in early for a couple of beers but the numbers of such are quite small with many bars having no customers at all and very few girls, in truth I go along to the western bars for a short while to catch up with friends but very seldom if not at all see anything worth buying a lady drink for.

Western oriented bars are geckos bar, lollipop bar, masquarade bar, champagne bar, they are all very near each other so can't be missed.

Korean oriented bars, these bars tend to be much better decorated, better ambience and better entertainment, some have great dance shows, they also have far higher number of slim, young, ok looking girls, its fair to say that all korean oriented bars are westerner friendly in as much as westerners are free to enter and buy themselves a beer and watch the shows, many girls here just do not bar fine with anyone, they earn great money from salaries, making it rain money, tips and of course large lady drinks commissions, of the girls that do fuck for a living then they tend to only choose asians as bed partners unfortunately.

Good korean oriented bars are xs bar, avalon bar, QBar, gold bar, madonna bar, between these bars there is a high chance of seeing the best angeles has to offer as far as better looking, slimmer, younger girls go.

I hear some wishfully say on this forum that westerners are the ones with the better looking girls on their arm, well I would have to disagree stronly, looking around the bars and the town by far the koreans have their choice amongst the better looking angeles girls, the westerners not so much so.

In summing up, I think its fair to say that the koreans have fully taken over angeles to a large extent, they are by far the most dominant punter numbers by a long way, they buy up all the available bars, the hotels, the restaurants, they have by far the better looking girls working in thier bars, have their own korean only van girl delivery service of girls and even their own police force, there is unfortunately new kings in town and they are called koreans.

Hi, can someone on the ground in AC please tell me if the Envy Hotel is closed? I read and heard that the Envy bar and hotel is closed, someone else told me it's not closed. I have a reservation there in 2 weeks and they are not replying to emails. Thanks for your help.

A month or so ago, it was reported here that the restaurant also closed. If you made the reservation thru Agoda or Booking or such, you can contact Agoda / Booking and find out. Also just look on Agoda / Booking and enter "Angeles City" in the search box. If the place is closed, then I would say you won't see any listing for Envy.

I stayed there in November, but there was a for sale sign up outside. I always deal with them direct. I haven't paid anything obviously, so I guess I need to find another place. I liked it because it was small, quiet and out of the way, no reception desk and no ID checks.

Great observation / report and the same goes for Sabang. Of an evening when I'm having a few beers outside my room really early, I see a trail of Korean divers walking hand in hand with the best talent around. I must say the girls don't look that happy, but it's their pay packet and it obviously seems they're 'tied' to their employment engagement.

It's sad in a way as I'm all for helping out the girls and am against exploitation.

However, over time I've made some great contacts with girls in the Phills and away from the typical Go Go / Girly Bar scene.

They mightn't be the prettiest girls on the block, but man, they know how to deliver. Phil.

Welcome to Angeles City, the previous home of Clark Air Force Base!

Caution: Long trip report.

This trip report will cover transportation, hotel, restaurants, and clubs / bars in Angeles City. For logistics and other notes, please refer to my trip report in the "Manila" section, #20336.

Transportation:

While in Angeles City, I used Grab or Trikes to get around. From Manila to Angeles City, I used Beeway and the cost was 3500 for a private car. Because of traffic, the trip took 2. 5 hours. From my hotel to pretty much anywhere I wanted to go cost 100 for trikes or 120 for Grab. To avoid the death trap trikes, I mostly used Grab.

Hotel:

I stayed at the ABC Hotel. It was an outstanding hotel with great rooms. The staff and service were excellent. I stayed in the Aqua Suite. One reason was because I was informed the room was very quiet and the other was because of the room layout. Was it girl friendly: YES. The hotel had two pools, one on the first floor and the other was on the 6th floor, rooftop bar. The rooftop bar was off the fucking hook; great spot to eat, drink, swim, and play! All the girls loved that place; I included.

Restaurants:

I did a lot of research before I left and here are my thoughts on the food scene:

Ikabud excellent.

Al Bacio very good.

Margarita Station good.

T-Backs OK.

Tequila Reef drinks very good, food okay.

Hotel excellent.

BTW, there was a place called Bretto's Deli and Coffee Shop that was rather close to my hotel and next to Bretto's was a liquor store. Between the both, I bought some decent wine and Patron Silver for the room / girls.

Clubs / Bars:

In each club / bar, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to chime in with the correct information. I blew through many clubs / bars and will do my best to post the correct information.

All the clubs / bars I went to only had one price; the bar fine. The bar fine included the money for the girl. I will write down the information on the clubs on / near walking street. Then the second section will be about the perimeter road bars.

Clubs on / near walking street:

Club: La Bamba.

Lady's drink: 335.

Bar fine: Not possible.

Number of girls: 17.

Quality of the girls: OK to very good.

Night / Time: Saturday /8.

Comments: I asked about the price for the bar fine and I was told all girls work and they were only available after work.

Club: Champagne.

Lady's drink: 315.

Bar fine: I was told no, but yet I pulled a girl out of the place for 3500.

Number of girls: 30+.

Quality of the girls: OK to very good.

Night / Time: Saturday /8:30.

Comments: I think it was only the dancers that were not allowed to be bar fined. One of my favorite clubs.

Club: Bacarra.

Lady's drink: 150.

Bar fine: 4000/5000 depended on the girl.

Number of girls: 30.

Quality of the girls: Good to very good.

Night / Time: Saturday /9:15.

Comments: This was a nice place, but it had a weird set-up. None of the girls were dancing; they just stood, looked, and smiled.

Club: Angel Witch.

Lady's drink: 310.

Bar fine: 5000.

Number of girls: 20.

Quality of the girls: OK to good.

Night / Time: Saturday /10:15.

Comments: The place had a nice long stage and some of them were dancing. There were many chunky girls to be had.

Club: Lucifer.

Lady's drink: 350.

Bar fine: 4000.

Number of girls: A butt-load.

Quality of the girls: Good to hot.

Night / Time: Saturday /10:50.

Comments: This was a good size place. It had a confusing set-up, but I like the club. There were a few girls that wore thongs! Another favorite of mine.

Club: Lollipop.

Lady's drink: 350.

Bar fine: Not possible.

Number of girls: 30+.

Quality of the girls: Good to hot.

Night / Time: Saturday /11:30.

Comments: This was a great place, but the service sucked. I loved the black tape theme; the girls were as close to being naked as possible. Again, I asked about the price for the bar fine and I was told all girls work and they were only available after work. Another favorite of mine.

Club: Old Club.

Lady's drink: 300.

Bar fine: 4000.

Number of girls: 23.

Quality of the girls: Good to very good.

Night / Time: Sunday /10.

Comments: This place was good and had a nice line-up of girls.

Club: Insomnia.

Lady's drink: 300.

Bar fine: Not possible.

Number of girls: 15.

Quality of the girls: OK to very good.

Night / Time: Sunday /11.

Comments: Again, I asked about the price for the bar fine and I was told all girls work and they were only available after work.

Club: Zeus.

Lady's drink: 300.

Bar fine: 3000/4000 depended on the girl.

Number of girls: 12.

Quality of the girls: OK to very good.

Night / Time: Sunday /11:30.

Comments: This was a smaller place (if I remembered correctly) and tucked in between other clubs. The place was not special whatsoever.

Club: Carousel.

Lady's drink: 350.

Bar fine: 4000.

Number of girls: 20+.

Quality of the girls: Good to very good.

Night / Time: Sunday /11:45.

Comments: This was a larger club and even had a fucking carousel in the middle of the place. I liked the club.

Club: Q.

Lady's drink: 350.

Bar fine: 5000.

Number of girls: 20+.

Quality of the girls: Good to very good.

Night / Time: Sunday /12.

Comments: The best part about the place was all the girls were wearing thongs; woohoo! Another favorite of mine.

Club: Micko's.

Lady's drink: 300.

Quality of the girls: Good to very good.

Comments: This was a smaller place, so it seemed like there were a butt-load of girls, but I counted twice. I liked the place.

Club: SS.

Comments: A friend of mine and I sat down right in front of the girls and they never acknowledge that we existed; they completely ignored us. If I wanted that kind of treatment, I would get back with my x-wife! Fuck that place!

Bar fine: 3500.

Number of girls: 15.

Quality of the girls: Good to very good.

Night / Time: Tuesday /10:15.

Comments: This was a nice place and they had a tank-top theme going; I liked the place. Another favorite of mine.

Club Elite It was only a lounge, no girls to be had.

Perimeter road bars: Most of these bars closed at 9 or 10. Many of these bars had an option for a small or regular size lady's drink; so ask!

Bar: Black Satin.

Lady's drink: 290.

Bar fine: 3500.

Number of girls: 12.

Quality of the girls: OK to good.

Night / Time: Sunday /7:30.

Comments: This was one of the larger bars in the area that I visited. The place was packed and I enjoyed the girls dancing.

Bar: Thunderbirds.

Lady's drink: 250.

Bar fine: Not possible.

Number of girls: 15.

Quality of the girls: OK to good.

Night / Time: Sunday /8.

Comments: Once again, I asked about the price for the bar fine and I was told all girls work and they were only available after work.

Quality of the girls: OK to good.

Comments: This was a nice smaller place.

Comments: This was another nice smaller place.

Lady's drink: 260.

Lady's drink: 150 for a small drink.

Comments: This was the last bar of my trip and I really liked the place. It was 3 blocks away from my hotel and not close to the other perimeter bars. I was impressed and it was another favorite of mine.

There were 2 or 3 blowjob bars around the corner from Garfield's; I think one was called Rio. I went into one of them (I think it was called Sweety) where there were steps going down. The place looked pretty damn shabby. Sorry, I did not get any prices on either place.

Overall thoughts on Angeles City:

There was one thing I did not like about some of the clubs / bars, they did not allow girls to be bar fined; that doesn't not seem fair to the girls!

I really liked the city; there were way too many options of clubs / bars. I lost a couple of nights of romping because I went down for the count. I would have gone to more clubs / bars if I had those two nights available. Either way, I got a good taste of Angeles City.

I thought the city was quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner. As a monger, I was impressed with volume of the clubs / bars and girls available. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!

This proves you have never been there. There is absolutely no criteria that anyone would label Q bar has Korean oriented. No Korean touts, no Korean papasans. Even the majority of the customers are non-Korean. You're reading the wrong reports! And the quality of that bar isn't that good, from the limited time I was there.

There are no Korean touts in front or Korean pappsans to help and greet you at XS and Avalon. There is a heavy presence of Korean customers in those bars. If that is your definition, that is it.

Good info, especially on the perimeter bars. But, EVERY bar has barfines. The fact that you listed Lollipop among the ones that don't, means something about your questioning was off. Lollipop is the king of barfines (and superstars in bed, in my experience). By closing time there are almost no girls left because they're all barfined. I've barfined around 30 of them. Probably not your fault. I think sometimes if the waitresses / girls get the vibe you're only there on an information gathering mission, they might play innocent and give you the answer you got.

This was my format I used in every country. I have no idea what really goes on in AC, but I go in, gather information, and the leave. As far as Lollipop, I only reported what I was told, please do not kill the messenger.
