" There was nothing in the terms and conditions that said I couldn't cancel, or wasn't refundable. I only learned this after trying to cancel my reservation.
The hotel has now updated their terms and conditions page to say that conditions do apply for a refund. You are welcome.

Its just gotten ridiculous and if you are every in Nana drinking near one of the ST hotels you can clock the STs. When we were there the average "couple" spent less than 30 min in the ST room. In the states I can get an hour for about $200. The only advantage here is that you have 100's if not 1000's to pick from. The quality isn't assured in either location. Hit or miss at best. The times are changing around us. Asians from the more westernized countries like Japan and Korea throw money around like it's nothing. But I don't think they monger for the same reasons we do. You can still get laid reasonably in Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Myanmar, and maybe Laos. I hear China is still relatively reasonable but a pain in the ass. It happened in Rio, is happening in Columbia and Costa Rica. So why fly 20 plus hours? I often ask myself. Probably because it's cold as hell back home. I like the culture and the vibe of Asia. I like to wonder.
