And yes Tan123, Fri-Sat are the busiest of the week, somewhat predictably as with all clubs.

So to try to be clear. It's just a normal weekend. It will be more crowded towards 23:00, but not unbearably so. You might have to wait a few minutes to get a room, and the hot items will be in demand. But it is really not a big deal, certainly not a deal breaker. The few days per year when there are large Messes (conventions) in Berlin can be a bit much, but none of this applies now.

Admittedly "crowded" is a subjective thing. I understand some who like the very chilled day atmosphere. For those who have their favorites whom they know are on the leaner day shift, it is nice. But if you are just an occasional visitor, the choices go up really by a factor of 5+ as of 20:00. As markets do, when there is more supply, there is more demand.

All I can say is, I am not especially fond of crowds but I would never hesitate for a second to go on a weekend evening-it actually has a nice buzz on when things are hopping. You can always chill downstairs at the pool side bar, or on the round pillows below the stairs, or in the lower cinema. Just go a little earlier, as Lord Magee also said in recent post. You will have 3 hours of optimal access, it will be more crowded 23:00-maybe 02:00, then start to thin out. Just synchronise your refractory interval. :cool:

If you live in Berlin and have the luxury of choice this is quite understandable. If you are a visitor, go when you have time. Avoid the obvious really busy days / times and the really slow days / times. But I can tell you that I have had some real stinker sessions at times when everything should have been perfect. Likewise, I have had some great sessions at really bad times. That is the good thing about FKK bordellos, you never know what might happen. In trying to optimise your time figuring out just the right time to go you do sort of defeat the purpose of going.

I've been to Artemis twice (and many trips to Hessen clubs) and am almost always on premises by 14:00 and almost always gone by 22:00.
