What I didn't like about it was:

Not a lot for me to do during the day, other than beach. Wish the girls came out during the day.

All the girls are in 1 location. After you were with a girl one night, you go back the next night, and she sees you again. Sxm, you can go to different places each night.

Found it hard to interview the girls prior to going arriba. In a bar, you watch them, have a drink, and ten decide if you want to go.

What I did like:

Lots of girls to choose from in 1 location.

Cheap. If the girls a dud in the room, abandon ship, and find another one. My leche is limited. Don't want to waste a load on a bad girl.

In the Otrabanda area you can try Otrabanda Plaza behind the curacao lottery building. Also another small Dominican town with girls to be had as in punda. Have a little game and negotiate lots of young ladies between 18-30 and also old putas for the ones interested in long mileage.

Marchena city located close to the piscadera area or sambil mall. Plenty of small bars where you can find non pros that will do for a tempting offer.

Mambo Beach and Zanzibar. Lots of fine ass non pros mostly dutch trainees staying short time on the island and locals that will settle for the right price!

Can someone confirm this? I am in Europe at the moment but a friend from the island emailed me that Campo has raised the current price from 50 to 75 and now Campo looks like a ghost house because most of the visitors are locals and they are not willing to pay the 50% increase.

One of the chicas told me that this happend because the locals were only willing to pay 35 and 40 guilders for the chicas service and, therefore made it more difficult for the chicas to make enough to pay their expenses and save something to send home. So Campo made the raised hoping that people will start paying the 50 when they negotiate the chicas down from the 75 gulders. In my opinion this will only make it worse for the chicas. Because the economy right now on the island is not the best and locals are not going to pay that. And campo without th local people will nt last one month. So I doubt ths will stay like tht for long.

Yep. Is sadly true, they raised the prices and people aren't willing to pay that so it might be the final blow for Campo if things stay that way.

The news just keeps getting worse for my upcoming initiation to Campo.

Can anyone on the island now comment on what is going on? I am applying logic here, and if there are no customers then chicas will start going home. I have a ticket to Curacao for the.

End of September, I would rather turn it in for a refund NOW rather than fly all the way down to the island to find Campo empty.

Any up-to-date information would be greatly appreciated.

I have no problem paying the extra 25 guilders, I want to know that there will be someone to provide services for it. .

There will be a fresh batch of chicas (50-75 of all taste) arriving from the DR and Colombia by the end of August and start September. No need to panic. However the new rate will stay in place.

Xanadont has some good points there. But what's up with that price bump? So the ladies collectively decided to bump the price to 75 guilders for half an hour? Must have been a management decision, backed by the girls. I can imagine this changes things for a local regular. Is there someone here who can 100% confirm that the base price is 75 guilders at the moment?

Most places in AUA and SXM are $50 plus key charge and lady drinks.

I was referring to a local dude who could feel the difference in his wallet between 50 and 75 naf.

I would normally go to Campo every single day while I'm on the island. Typical session would be one hour, as I think that gets you the best treatment and enough time to properly enjoy. Two sessions a day every day during three weeks times a 50% price bump. You do the math. I guess I am complaining, hehe.

- extremely low price.
- low entrance fee.
- very safe place.
- there's always a girl that has what you're looking for, always.
- open 24 hours a day.
- good kitchen, also open 24 hours a day.
- free stripshows.
- small village-like setup with different streets

So there's still a lot of reasons why the Campo rocks. Just think that if they up the price they should consider compensating that with something else.

As to the new rate I am OK with it, one cannot expect prices not to change since the early 2000's (50 was the deal on my first visit back in 2003). The new rate is 42 USD. Still very good.

With the girls and also there is now Wi-Fi in all the rooms. Not sure that has nothing to do with the sudden price bump.

Tickets are booked and we're setup pretty sweet in a resort type neighbourhood called Jansofat. Still waiting for confirmation on our car though. Looking forward to "checking in" for the first time again, heh.

The USD (to which CUR Florin is fixed) is near decade-high, so products from Netherlands are cheaper, plus the chicas get 50% more Colombian pesos and almost 50% Dominican pesos for the same amount of USD and NAF.

For most of the last decade colombian chicas were making $28*2000=56 K COP. Now they make $42*3000=126 k COP. If they can keep similar number of clients his is VERY GOOD deal for the chicas.
