The Sheraton is more expensive but except for registering the chica no problem. Best I found in Cali was Hotel Plaza Varsalles, great location, nice rooms, friendly staff (see Daniel) and no chica probels. They didn't even register the chicas.

Syrenas is a great incall, usually 80-100K and a few really nice chicas. That was 1-2 years ago, doubt it has changed.

My general rule for Latin and South America is that I don't bring chicas to my room. I've been robbed in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires before, fortunately nothing major. I just feel like I can't turn my back on some of these chicas.

Hotel Cali Plaza (3 Star) is $65 a night. I'd give it a so-so grade, there's good and bad about the place. Hotel Plaza Versailles (3 1/2 Star) is $90 a night, somewhat better place and location for the money.

How much are the rooms at hotel del Rio.

There are a wide range of rooms, big and small, with and without kitchen, in the new tower or in the old. They were all fine for me. I never had any trouble bring guests to my room. I don't remember the exact price, but it was low, like less than 100k pesos for a simple room. Breakfast is good. Rooftop pool is fun. Full of people on business and families. Not much English spoken here. A block or two from Clinica Dr Amor.

Probably more expensive in December because everyone travels for Christmas. You should just call them and ask for your dates.

Thank you for all the advice here. I ended up staying at the Spiwak hotel attached to the mall. The hotel is a true 5 star with huge modern rooms, wifi, bar, food and high end eye candy all around. They had a small convention at the hotel and it looked like a fashion show. Not bad value for $140 US, including breakfast.

I went there Thursday afternoon. My first stop in Cali. They had 50 girls or so. I only liked one or two. They are quite busy so they may have several that are working that I did not get to see but I did sit through three rounds of presentations over 20 minutes. The lady with the headset said I did see all of them that are working but I am suspicious mostly because the reputation and my expectations did not match what I saw.

I finally picked a tall lean chica from Medellin! She was friendly and took her time "getting ready" and asked for bailey's or whiskey but settled for OJ. Buying juice was no big deal but I noticed that she took only one sip. She massaged me for a while (which was totally lame but what ever) and I massaged her. She gave me an OK covered BJ for 3-4 minutes and took out het toys. She had a nice collections and played with herself till the phone rang. When the phone rang, she said our time is up and we need to leave. I asked her about me and mentioned that it is not fair to leave me in a rigid state. She shrugged her shoulders and demanded a propina and I need to finish "rapido". That totally killed it for me and I did not give her propina, mostly out of principle.

Mine might be the first negative review I have seen about this casa (factory) and I hope it is the last one.

Since I cut my teeth in Rio termas I was always used to girls coming to sit down and you getting to talk to them and rub on them to try to establish some type of vibe. I was never able to get into those types of casas in Colombia where the girls are like on stage in a beauty pageant. By that I mean they come in the room, introduce themselves by name, and leave right out. There isn't even a chance to get a good look, don't even think about feeling them up. That is why I'm more of a FL casa guy in Colombia. I like places like Santa Fe in Bogota. The girls sit outside in the front. I can go talk to them as long as I want, get a chance to check out the goods, walk around to other casas to look, and return to any of them at will. I can barely remember my own name, but in a place like Dr. Amor I have to try remember a couple of chicks out of a lineup, each of which where only in front of me all of two seconds?

The city seemed expansive and has a rough edge to it. I missed some of the high-end neighborhoods that I am used to seeing in MDE and BOGOTA. Even the areas with bars and restaurants did not have the liveliness. Also, I discovered that my personal taste has strong bias against the body type of the Calienas (sp?). I prefer Paisa flakas that are all natural.

The taxi situation in Cali is interesting. Identical to warnings from other posters on this forum, the hotel strongly discouraged us taking cabs off the street. That certainly is a negative in my mind.

In the evening, my first stop is at Flores Frescas. Sad to report there are only 6 flowers there and none being even close to being fresh and pricelist is so expensive that is laughable. Well whiskey is 25, 000! I had one and I witnessed 4 other 'tourists' doing it too. I asked them to call a cab and they would not want to do it. They said, they will call but why don't I wait till I watch a few dances. Clearly they did not want 20% of their clientele walk out the door. In any other city, I would have walked out and hailed one myself but here, I am in a bit of a predicament. Just then, the cabbie that dropped me off walks in check on to see how things are going. He said he remembered me saying that if I don't like this place I will go to club Escosses and he waited. I hugged him and bailed out of there. His name is Elvis. He turned out to be an awesome guy and one of the best taxi drivers I ever met during my travels. He shared a lot about Cali and a bit of his personal stuff. When asked about eating local cuisine, he took us to a great restaurant that is around the corner from inter continental and the food there was undoubtedly the best on this trip.

Next stop is club Escosses, supposedly the oldest club in town. This place had a much better vibe. It was a party with good music and the intimacy of this place lends itself to a high energy atmosphere. Unfortunately though, I was either not drunk enough or the girls are not that attractive. I almost called it a night but decided to try the third place on my list; Dinas. It was a bit out of the way but said what the heck and went. The place is more like a dive bar with decent music and bunch of tables. No stage or floor space for dancing. Interestingly I saw two girls that were in the parade that morning at Clinica. I did not like them then and the booze did not change my mind either. Finished my drink and left the bar to walk out. As I was about to walk though the second door, down come a couple of chicas with friendly faces. I had to check them out. I almost literally dragged them both into the bar so no one else would grab them. Back in the bar we had a round of drinks, made a joke of an attempt at salsa and I took one of them upstairs for amazing 30 minutes. She is a 22 yr old MILF with a surprisingly tight body. She was a true nympho and could not get enough of it. If you are at Dinas, she is hard to miss. She is a dirty blonde, thin, fair and all natural. The door was knocked three times before we got out. Now that is nice service and she got a 20K tip for that. Had the late night munchies, stopped at a burger joint and got dropped off at the hotel. 5 hrs later for 50, 000 pesos. Not bad considering the fact that he was my driver, guide and a wingman.

Minimal difference I think as I do not recollect the exact amount at Clinica (the pricing is standard as posted before) but the plus at Dani's is like you were saying, you can sit down and chat and decide if there is chemistry. Obviously Clinica has more numbers.
