My last night in AC was a weeknight. Started at XS, but as mentioned elsewhere, its staff badly dissed me for second night in a row. Seemed almost intentional, as there were almost no customers. Fuck it. Tried Skyfalls and it was a complete joke. I don't know what the previous report by CL was thinking but seriously doubt that assessment. Peaked into Atlantis for half a glance and was gone. It is totally dead, with only a few girls and 0 customers. I can't see how it stays afloat.

Finally went into, Q bar after midnight and I was only customer for a while. Their girls get energetic and more fun with no one around so atmosphere was good. FG also laid out the serious expenses involved for a trip across the ocean. If I were based in the West, I would not choose AC as my first choice unless I had good money to spend and enough time to make it one leg of a multi-leg tour. The girls are really getting harder to deal with in PH, so its nothing like it used to be, but its probably still a lot better than options back home in the West.

Its different if you are based in Asia like me. Living in various NE and SE Asian countries over 3 decades changes your standards a lot. I dated hot Asian civs for most of my adult life, so the average AC girl doesn't look that great to me, compared to the Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, HKers, Taiwanese, Viets, Indos, Thais, and Filipina freebies I picked up in nightclubs week after week Age prevents me from doing that much now, though it still happens once every couple months, even as I hit 60. That's the advantage of living and working in Asia. If you wake up at 2 am with a horny fever and know where to go, you can go out and have a 50-50 chance of bringing a girl back paid or freebie by 4 and fuck her until noon. If PH and TH gogos were still like the good ol days, I'the target them more and recommend more highly. But I can't yet do that. Ill keep AC on the list of stopovers, since Clark is convenient, because I can still get a few hotties for half to one third what it costs in more expensive Asian capitals. But its not worth a special trip for me, at least for a few more years until the civ well completely dries up.

Rather than name all the bars visited, drinks prices in each bar, girl prices in each bar its fair to say most customer local beer prices range from 100 pesos in the small bars with few girls to 180 pesos in the larger bars that have shows and more girls.

If I'm travelling to the Phills, I like to be by the sea and water as it's an island country, to have a semi vacation between work commitments.

Sure, there isn't the gogo scene or girly bars in a lot of these nice locations, but you just have to ask the right questions of the locals and you'll be pleasantly surprised what you can find at a relatively cheap rate and more often than not, very much sincere.
