You could get a Heiny for $3 in a bar with 150 FL (considerably hotter than LAC ever was), complete with live band, and grab most any hottie for about $30-$35 USD for LT, and easily bargain that for 2 pops. Had the tiger by the tail (and was f*cking its tail). If by chance you didn't see what you liked, you walked across the street to a similar bar. These were FL bars, not gogos.

Specific story as I think I reported there back in the day of this girl. Very small; several inches less than 5'. I was so concerned with her being a minor that I asked the bartender if she was old enough. "Yes. She has ID". OK. She would only do ST, saying she had to be at work in the morning. Off we went for a wonderful time at my place. Gave her the pittance she'd asked for in the bar (I hadn't bargained, I just agreed to the price her cuteness asked for the service I'd requested -- felt at the time like I was stealing something) and off she went, about 2 am.

More to it. The next morning I went to a nearby mall for a late breakfast, having woken up fresh and hungry about 10 am. While eating I noticed a clean-up boy bussing tables, complete in uniform of black slacks and button-down shirt and baseball cap. He was coming right down the row, cleaning empty tables. When he got next to me and turned to face my direction, under that hat I noticed that it was LAST NIGHT'S CUTIE! She saw me and ducked her eyes right down to her feet, grabbing the bucket of dirty dishes and spirited herself away. Hahahaha.

When I first moved to the Philippines, I didn't plan much at all. It's wild how I ended up there. I landed with just $20,000 to my name and, by some miracle, I made some smart moves that kept me earning money for five years. To handle power outages there, I'm planning to build a power setup with a 15.36 kWh 300 AMP hour LiFePO4 solar battery combined with a gas generator so I can keep working during outages. So I am not planning to jump back into my old habits, besides by the way AC is nowdays, it would be too expensive and not worth it to barhop like I did before. Sure I can sit at phillys and pickup freelancers, which I will do. But I will just keep a few regulars on speed dial. I am thinking 1-2 years in the province and then, back to AC.

Its their time in the sun, and I'm guessing that around 2040 K dudes will be reminiscing about it too, kind of like old Japanese dudes had their flash moment before 1990. I got nothing against my K bros or J bros at all. Just wish it were still easier me for to get it when I need it.

For me as I head into my 60's having spent 4 decades shagging Asian civvies and increasingly WGs, the choice is either 1) give up, b*itch, and reminisce or 2) find new ways to work through it. Not sure which one is going to win out yet, but maybe the extra work will be a good way to prevent senility. The past 2 months in PH and Jakarta have been a lot of work for me, but I'm getting some energy back from those 5 or 6 amazing diamonds that I persevered for (trying to forget about the 10 others who werent diamonds).

When I walk into a bar with in 10-20 seconds I always get asked to buy a drink. Within 60 seconds I am being pestered to pick a lady within 2 minutes girls walk over trying to sit with me. This happens at every bar regardless of if they are Korean or not. I have never, never, never been denied entry into a K bar, in fact the Korean Managers always welcome me into said bars and offer me girls.

- I went to Madonna at around 5:45 pm. I wanted to see how the 9 K girls looked like. FYI, the barfines at that bar are 5 K, 7 K, and 9 K. The 9 K girls wear the black velour dresses. I was told there are 4 of them. Not sure if it's 4 on Monday, or 4 everyday. There were 2 left at that time. 2 were already barfined. The 2 remaining were not that impressive. There were some 5 K girls that were the same or slightly better than the 9 K girls. But, I'm wondering if the 2 who were barfined are worth it. If those 2 are similar to the one black taped model at XS (who was the best of the bunch on Monday night), then they are worth 9 K. FYI, that one top notch black tape girl at XS had a sponsor (info from 2 years ago).

- The beer at Madonna was just increased to 200 pesos. Most expensive in Angeles. The most I've seen was 150 pesos for a beer on Walking Street. I was told there are other bars that has the same pricing structure for barfines. Didn't see it the other night (But I didn't go to every bar on Walking Street). It seems now, most bars on the main area of Walking Street has 5 K barfines.

- The barfines at Avalon and XS is 5 K for most of the girls, and 6 K for the black taped models. One waitress at some other bar told me that the black tape models are 6 K or 7 K, depending on the customer / circumstances. That would make sense. Other posters have written that they were charged higher than the prices that are normally quoted.

- Dragon Bar (upstairs) is closed. It seems they are going to move downstairs. Wondering if the American that bought the Dragon bar planned this. BTW, at least one of the mamasans from Dragon moved (with her girls) to Madonna.

- Funny how some people are "scared" of the Koreans. They think they are weekend millionaires with huge bonuses that will outspend all of us. Geez! There are White Westerners that spend as well as those guys. I see White Westerners spend large amounts of money on bell rings, and buying large amounts of lady drinks. White Westerners (generally) do not make it rain like the Koreans. They spend the money in other ways. I'll place my vote for the provinces being better than AC. Much better. I'm certainly not alone but it shouldn't surprise anyone that many guys refrain from publicising their favourite fishing spots. The last thing we need is 100 horny tourists turning up.

The provinces are more work. Both to get there and upon arrival. They aren't point and shoot like AC and Makati. Many prefer these options as they don't have the time or inclination to put in the effort. I've had several guys complain about my Cebu suggestions saying that it took too much time and effort. I mean see'Mon. That's how much mongers need instant gratification now. Forget about catching planes, trains and automobiles to get there and then a few days to find one's feet. That's way too much for many guys. However, those who can put in the extra effort often find it worth it.

And continue to do so, albeit doing things a bit differently than you suggest. I am not talking about gents who breeze thru town for a few weeks looking for trim. Living in the province does not mean that you must settle down with an asawa (although many do that). One learns to play the local game. Other members on this board live in the same area as me, have stayed single, have different styles than myself, and have been able to find ways to burn thru the trim at a faster pace than myself. There are advantages and disadvantages.

I would be going to samar or some other province to lay low, keep to myself, and work on improving myself, saving money and minding my own business. I know many will try to ask me "you want girl?" blah blah blah. I will just politely decline. If I want pussy I'll just go to AC.

The only way I will get involed with a girl in the province is if she is a absolute stunner, and I am in a position to have a serious strong relationship. Even then I would never have sex with her for months until I vet her family, status in the family, life goals, and determine if we get along.
