Eats
Plenty of places to eat in the immediate neighborhood, all within a reasonably safe walking distance.

Eat at Amazonia. For cheap, go a block north to Chow King and Jollibee.
In a few weeks I am going to be coming to the Philippines for a three-day weekend, and would like to arrange a weekend party with three high-end ladies. What's the story on agencies for these high-end girls?
If they're truly high-end filipinas, they're probably not prostitutes.

Eat at LA Cafe?
This is not an attempt at humor, it actually happened.
A few years ago I was having breakfast there (around 4am) and felt something tickle my leg. When I looked down I saw the largest cockroach known to man. I must have jumped ten feet, some of the patrons thought I was a loon.
I absolutely love the LA Cafe for mongering, sometimes it is the only place I will go when in Manila, but forget about eating there.
Also, wear long pants when you go there.

Just a few steps down the road from LA there are the two Shwarma places. I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly. They don't serve beer, but have some good food for a reasonable price.
LA cafe food is overpriced and not terribly good. I tend to go for the pancit (stir-fried noodels with veggies/meat) which comes in very large portions. Find a cute girl and ask her if she will help you eat it.

Was it been chased by a chef with a cleaver? Probably had escaped from somebodies chilli con carne order.
There again it might have been making a move on you :D

Makati Night Out
Just wrapped up a full night out at Burgos in Makati. I started at Flamingos around 10pm, which was dreary as all hell and utterly deserted. There's nothing more bleak than an empty room with a few listless dancers and duff-duff music blaring for the benefit of no discernable audience.
I left quickly, negotiated the faux-cialis peddlers on the street and made it to Billboard. The vibe there was odd in that there were several groups of girls who seemed totally wrapped up in their own thing and weren't paying any mind to the customers. Eventually, after two or three shifts of girls shuffling onstage, the A team rolled out and did a relatively impressive number or two. One girl was a stunner and I asked the mamma to call her over. Everyone--the mamma, the waitress and the masseuse--found that funny for some reason but I assumed that they were just getting into the spirit of things. The Stunner and I had a few rounds of drinks (including tequila shots) and some snappy conversation, and I was about ready to spirit her away back to the Shang. Alas, when I asked her about it she told me that she NEVER leaves with men because she's there strictly as a dancer. I tried all the angles, but the answer was NEVER. (In the interest of full disclosure, I'll say that I'm not an ogre, was dressed well and generally don't have any problems w/women either for pay or free.) It was at that point that I realized why the crew there was laughing when I chose her to sit with me--I looked around the proverbial table and realized the sucker was ME.
After a blue-balltacular walk back to Flamingos with the idea that I'd find it even worse than when I left, I entered the club to find it bumping. Tons of hot girls on stage and just enough customers to make it feel active but not enough to pose any real competition for the quality girls. After 10 minutes or so the mamma came by and I requested a lithe young thing who happily came over and sat with me. A couple drinks and we were out of there for a bar-fine of 2200. (This is lower than what I expected after reading the fing forum.)
We went back to my room at the Shang and had about 2 hours of full-on, wild and hot monkey sex. The shower, the couch, the bed, no matter where we were it was better than a gf experience (which is not my thing) in that it felt like a hot pick-up from a bar that devolved into lust as opposed to a cuddly, chatty, giggly BSing session where I had to pretend to be interested. All in all, damn well worth the 3000 tip I gave her in addition to the bar-fine. I have no idea if that's excessive or not but I absolutely don't care either way.
Tomorrow night, two girls. Somehow I'll have to figure out how to figure in all this when I calculate the returns on my investments in the Phils. It's gotta be worth something.

heh Ive used that line but I usually get fried rice there...its greasy but its actually very tasty.
"Hi there...so, I ordered this fried rice and didnt realize how big the plate was! Are you hungry?"
You can actually improve your quality of potential overnight friend by doing this I think. Ive gotten a couple "cave girls" (I call the girls who hang out on the far right cubby area where the Koreans are, cave girls...back in a cave...get it? hehe) Although there really isnt a rule of thumb in LA, ~typically~ the cave girls ~overall~ are higher quality.

Nice report but it would be better served posted in the Makati section. The search function on this board has saved me alot of money over the years. A quick search would have revealed that most of the girls at Billboard do not barfine and that Flamingo, WWW, Magumbo, Rogues and Bandito have much lower barfines than the other places. That should help raise your "return" on your yields

Well, Black, not only are we using the same line, but you've got enough smarts to realize they are Korean -- not Japanese. I can't tell you how many times I've heard guys talk about the Japanese in the back room.
I agree about quality -- East Asian guys like 'em cute and petite. I can't blame them.
Anyway, I'll try some "flied lice" next time I'm in LA Cafe.

billboard
Hi,
well, went to billboard yesterday and talked to a hottie there. Yes, didnt care bout the bill once Im really interested into somebody. No barfine in billboard....ehehehe...well, I took the gurl out for 3500p. We went to a place to watch the soccer and get some food. So, as you seen evrything is possible for money. I didnt take her back to my place....but maybe another time I do or what I prefer I take her to some hotel, cause my home is holy to me and just for friends and selected gurls Im very sure bout. no hooker or other trouble makers :D
The gurl was very new to this and she told me that you can have day off after one month work. So, while Im on side I just collect potential fxckfriends :D in all shapes..and meet her once Im free...keep the numbers they will allways come back to you :)

Simple and limited menu, inexpensive, and yet the food is okay. They do serve beer and wine, I think.
G, I think Blackangst was referring to getting fried rice rather than pancit at one of the Schwarma places, not at LA.
